Great place, really nice to stay at. Comfy beds and lovely touches with the crumpets jam, teas and coffee. Well decorated and nice outside space out the back too. We had a good time. Only points would have been nice to have an armchair in the front room as there was 4 of us. There was some parts that needed a bit of a clean and a few spider webs in corners etc but didn’t affect our stay.

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! the property had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable beds in clean, lovely bedrooms. Great kitchen and bathrooms... and of course the games cupboard! thank you!

Brilliant value for a group of us including four teenagers for a football match in Mansfield. Good location (10 minutes walk to town and 15 minutes to the football ground) and plenty of take aways/shops nearby. Plenty of space in the house and big fridge/freezer etc and due to the size of the group, it was a real bonus to have 3 bathrooms/showers. Also, parking was good as we travelled in four separate cars and a quiet area as the house is located across from a primary school so very little noise at night. Definitely would book again but hoping not to if we get promoted😀

Lynley and Matt’s place accommodated a large family of 7, 2 children and 3 dogs perfectly! Lots of space, big spacious rooms, private and secure garden and big driveway! We came to stay due to a family funeral and wanting a hub to base ourselves but also accommodate seeing family and spending time together. The place is very well thought out, clean, spacious and perfect for a family get away. Lynley and Matt are super responsive hosts, really understanding of our situation and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

Visited for my hen do as a group of 7 girls. Beautiful place. Beautiful grounds / surroundings. Lovely to see the animals and kept so nicely. Very friendly and flexible hosts. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again 🥰

Great place great hosts!

This was our second visit to Barn Cottage, it was just as lovely as the first! The cottage is cosy, extremely well furnished, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Jackie is a brilliant host, so much attention to detail in terms of making the cottage perfect in every way! We’d definitely recommend Barn Cottage and we’ll be visiting again!

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

We had a lovely stay here with both my boys enjoying the outdoor space and games room. The use of the swimming pool all to ourselves was fantastic. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you need for a week long stay. We were a short drive from places like Bakewell and Chatsworth which is definitely worth a visit. The only small thing is that there is no direct access to the small terrace at the back of the property.

This place is amazing - the cottage is well equipped and really well thought through. The beds are comfy and lots of space for a family of 4. It had all the amenities we needed and there are washing machines also on site if needed for longer stays. The games room and pool were a real plus point for teenagers too. We loved the fact you can walk to the reservoir with the dog really easily. The countryside is beautiful all around with many more glorious walks just a quick drive away too. The hosts are really quick to reply and were Flexible for us when our shopping turned up before our check in time which was much appreciated. We were lucky with the weather which made the stay even greater. Would definitely come back again if we can make it work.

Quirky little place. Clean, kitchen has everything you need to make a few small meals. Great view from the hot tub. Good location. And very tasty cake left for our arrival.

Easy to find, clear instructions, lovely clean property, plenty of room . Clean bedding. Lovely hot water and very clean bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pub across the road was great for food and excellent playground. Also try the miners Inn. The facilities are amazing. We will back as love that we could come back with the larger family and have our own rooms.

I absolutely loved Lucy's home, its in a lovely area with the pub in walking distance , aswell as many others in local villages like Wirksworth and Matlock. This house had everything needed for a relaxing long weekend with the dog so couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for being a brilliant host, I look forward to coming back soon

Honestly one of the most beautiful places we have stayed, we had everything we needed and more and the personalised touches were just lovely! So cosy, clean and we felt so at home - we are already planning a trip back! 🩷

I was just as happy with this, my second stay at Emma's bungalow, as my previous stay The bungalow is clean, tidy, cosy and very well equipped for self catering It is a perfect location for me to visit family in Derby and I really like Belper itself Emma is very easy to communicate with and very responsive - she quickly came to my rescue with an apparent problem I had with the cooker! (the cooker wasn't faulty btw!) I hope to be stay here again and am happy to recommend to others

We really enjoyed our trip to Youlgreave and would definitely look to return :) We found the location peaceful with some lovely walks nearby and it was an excellent base for exploring further areas of the Peak District. The house was well equipped with everything we could have needed and Jen and Simon were really responsive to any queries we had. We had some lovely weather and a fabulous trip, thank you for having us!

Emma is a great host she dealt with an issue early on extremely quickly and professionally, the cottage is a wonderful place to chill and relax with breathtaking views which all of the family enjoyed to look at, my daughter coming home said she wants to come back again which I’m sure we will!

We stayed in Luke’s accommodation for my wife’s 40th - from the off Luke was extremely responsive and helpful when planning where to eat and where to walk locally, with lots of recommendations. The pesto at the peacock was a 10 minute drive and a restaurant we can’t wait to return to. The accommodation was easy to find, quiet and secluded. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. The garden area was a sun trap and fantastic place to relax, with the hot tub also a nice touch. We would definitely return and thank Luke for the hospitality.

Really nice place to stay if you are in Loughborough for a few days. A nice neighbourhood with close access to supermarket, coffee shops and a 30-40 minute walk to the town or University. Would wholly recommend!
