I've stayed in two cottages on Lianes property. Both were absolutely gorgeous. Rustic but with very modern amenities! The comfiest beds and beat sleep you can get on the East Coast. Each cottage has a different aesthetic, my husband is a carpenter and could not stop raving about how cottage loon smelled like pine because it was made from logs. We saw an eagle flying overhead while having a fire on the lake shore! The hot tub is amazing and booking your time slot is incredibly easy. Liane is incredibly responsive, accommodating and friendly! If you want to book the sauna, make sure you let Liane know well in advance and book a time! It has to be heated up in advance and we were hoping to use it just prior to check out so it's the only thing we didn't get to try! It is an amazing, private, quiet little spot. A real score for the price! I've seen cottages in less desirable, more populated campgrounds in more touristy locations for 2-3x the price! We love staying at St. Esprit!

This place is amazing! The cabin was super clean, the self-check in went smoothly and there is even a sauna!

Had an amazing night here for mine and my girlfriends birthdays. Ton was a great host and made sure the night was perfect for us. Highly recommend anyone stay here. Be sure to check out the beach.

I really loved my stay at this cabin! My dog and I enjoyed the trails every day. The spot was private and peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Great place to stay! It’s in a private and quiet spot but also in walking distance to shops in mahone bay, plus there’s a local brewery right across the street! It’s dog friendly! We’ll definitely be booking there again! The host is great, very responsive and flexible with check in and out times.

Martina's place was perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed there a week and it's just what you need for 2 people. The location was fantastic with being on the water, and not in the bustle of the real touristy areas. Nice and out of the way, but still only 1.5 hours from all the Anne of Green Gables stuff and 45 minutes to Charlottetown. Blossom was great fun. We didn't have time to do any biking of the confederation trail, but we made use of the kayaks one morning and had a bonfire one night. Martina was super helpful with providing wood for a bonfire and giving us suggestions on places to go/things to see in the area/on the island.

Idyllic location with a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy. Christine and Andy are warm and welcoming hosts with lots of suggestions for activities. Extremely responsive. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our second time at this great location. Close to Annapolis Royal that includes the terrific Farmer's Market on Saturdays and shopping in the quaint downtown area. Grandkids LOVE the hot tub. Our stay was an amazing, relaxing weekend. Stephanie was extremely responsive to our message when we had trouble finding the place initially, and Peter was also extremely helpful! Thank you both for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back :)

Tyler’s place was great! It looked exactly like the pictures. The hot tub was very refreshing after a few active days exploring the nearby trails. The wood stove made the cottage very cozy in the evenings. The dirt road leading in (come from either way) is rough, so I would recommend all wheel drive or a car with good suspension! Tyler was very proactive with communicating and responded quickly to my messages. Definitely would recommend for a remote getaway in rural NS!

Couldn’t say better things about our stay! It was clean, all set up with fire logs ready to go for a fire, wood fired hot tub was ready for us and heated up to hop in right away! Amazing views, woke up to the sun rise over the water that we watched in bed each morning! It was just a perfect gateway and way to recharge! Thank you so much Jenn!

What an absolute gem! This was my first solo getaway, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully laid out, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sauna was such a luxurious bonus, perfect for unwinding. I especially loved that the Bay to Bay trail is just steps away—ideal for a peaceful walk or a bit of exploring. My only regret is booking just one night; I would have loved more time to fully soak in the charm of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. The location is unbeatable, and Kathryn was incredibly responsive and welcoming. If you’re a busy mom in need of a little reset, take this as your sign—you deserve it, and this is the perfect place!

From the minute you pull into the driveway your mind will be at ease as you are surrounded by beautiful countryside, a stunning waterway and tranquil woodland. The care and attention to detail emerges as you travel along the pathway to your destination. Relaxation hits as soon as you walk through the doors as this place is packed with amenities. The floor to ceiling windows show off the stellar views and how could you not love the cute and cozy loft area. This perfectly hidden gem of a place did not disappoint!!

Our stay here was incredible! The spot was so picturesque and peaceful. We couldn’t believe just how close we were to the beach! Everything was in pristine condition and truly had a seaside cabin feel. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to stay again!

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. The kayaks are great to paddle around in the calm water, and the fire pit is perfect for cooler evenings. We had numerous cloudy days and no trouble with the solar power. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We had such a beautiful stay at Stephanie’s retreat! We loved the privacy the property offered us with the peaceful atmosphere right on the river. The place was exceptionally clean and even more beautiful than the photos can do justice!

Stayed at the Tinyhome with my girlfriend for a weekend. Had an extremely relaxing stay and enjoyed everything the home had to offer. Erica was very helpful and quick to respond. Exactly what we expected and more! 10/10

We were fortunate to have such a mild weekend at Josh's place. A New year's Eve paddle and evening campfire allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. Josh's place is a little gem privately tucked away for a weekend getaway. We look forward to getting back there again. .

Cute tiny home located near the water (not for fishing or swimming) but had a nice view! Inside was clean and had all the linen and towels. Very comfy bed. Stairs are a bit steep to get to the bedroom and the ceiling is low. Overall we had a great stay!

My dog, girlfriend, and I stayed at The Petite Retreat for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The area was close to the ferry and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Alana gave great recommendations on places to visit (highly recommend Cape Forchu) and there were some great food spots within a close driving distance. Alana was very reliable when it came to communication and instructions. The only drawback was that there was no running water but there is water access in the tiny home so very small problem with a easy solution. I will definitely be recommending The Petite Retreat to any friends interested in visiting Nova Scotia!!

When you escape to a little cabin in the woods , you want to feel like you've gotten away to a secret little place of your own and this is how this place feels. Liana has put a lot of thought into this little gem and even though it sees other fellow visitors, it is so pristine and tidy it feels like you're the first person to stay in it. Lots to explore and enjoy on the property. This was my first visit and won't be my last. Liana is an exceptionally kind, friendly and multi-talented host. I felt very comfy and safe.

My stay at Triangulair was truly one of the best weekends I’ve had this year. The cabin setup was absolutely charming and exactly what I was hoping for—every detail felt thoughtfully designed. From the galaxy of stars above to the big-eyed owl in the trees, I couldn’t decide between staying cozied up by the fireplace inside or heading outdoors to cook up some delicious meals. The cabin’s book selection was fantastic, and I spent one whole evening captivated by books about Nova Scotia, which were so interesting and added a special local touch. Triangulair was perfect in the fall, and I can’t wait to come back in the summer to experience it in a new way. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway, this is the place! Thank you for creating the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary.
