Stayed for a family wedding and loved the accommodations! Close to family, restaurants, wineries and beaches. Dog friendly which was a huge plus. Would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Jimbo's. All the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The whole family enjoyed chilling out in the comfy sofas with a nice library in the living area. We all and in particular our dog loved the huge, green and well maintained lawn. He had so much fun with all the space to run and play! For us the greenery was very relaxing. The location is good - a 5 minute walk from the ice cream store, 12 minute walk from Crescent Beach (with the happening Sunset Beach Club), a 5 minute drive from the IGA, and a 5 minute drive from North Ferry. The furthest we had to drive was a 12 minute drive to Rams Head Point. The outdoor shower was lovely! Jimbo was very friendly and very responsive including providing some very efficient "tech support" on the dryer even though he was out of town. The issue was a confusing light on the dryer and some user error and was easily resolved on the phone. Additional towels were dropped off upon request. A pretty comprehensive set of silverware, plate settings, and kitchen utensils made it a fun and easy stay. Thank you Mary and Jimbo for sharing your house, we had precious moments there and we highly recommend it !

Paula's house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We had 7 adult females looking for a comfortable space to relax and unwind for an evening, and that's certainly what Paula's home provided. It was clean and cozy, and had a TON of sleeping space - everyone got their own bed (the pool house was an especially fun place to sleep!). While the main living space was pretty small, it was designed and laid out really well. Would definitely return - preferably in the summer when we could enjoy the beautiful backyard and pool! We had a wonderful stay at this home. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed by the warm hospitality. The apartment was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. We especially loved the comfortable bed, the fully equipped kitchen, the living area. Nathalia was an exceptional host. She was incredibly responsive to our questions and provided us with helpful local tips. We truly appreciated the easy check-in/out process. Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable. I had a fantastic week-long stay at this private residence. The place was as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. The location was super convenient, making getting around and exploring the area easy. Communication with the host, AJ, was smooth and prompt, and they went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. I’d stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and relaxing place to stay!

Alexis was a tremendous host-always available & great to interact with. The house was perfect, had anything & everything needed and was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend her home to anyone visiting Shelter Island.

My family spent several days at this lovely home for a winter getaway from the city. There is ample space indoors and outdoors for eating and lounging. There are smart televisions if you want to stay connected, and nature all around if you want to disconnect. The house has many spacious areas, but there is a certain coziness in each room. The jacuzzi, basement gym and entertainment center are cherries on top. Justin is fantastic and responds to inquiries quickly. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to return in the future.

A little slice of heaven! This place was everything we needed—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The home was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. From the serene surroundings to the thoughtful touches, it was truly a perfect getaway. We would absolutely love to return!

We had a wonderful stay! We were eight people - two families traveling with four kids total, and the home was ideal for our group. The heated pool was a highlight—perfectly sized and (upon request) kept at a comfortable temperature, even in late March. The house itself was clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We especially appreciated how quickly the hosts responded whenever we had questions. The only minor drawback was that the property is located across from a fire station, and occasionally you’ll hear the siren. However, it only lasts a few seconds and didn’t bother us much at all. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend it and would gladly stay here again!
