I had an amazing stay at Susan’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had a cozy, homey feel. The location was perfect,peaceful and quiet. Susan’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the stay, from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful little touches that made me feel right at home. We just had an incredible stay at this beachfront villa in Zanzibar. It an incredibly beautiful location, and the house is spacious and clean. The real star of the property, beside the gorgeous beach is the staff. From the management agency, to the house manager Sule, to Tatu our housekeeper and Fabio the most friendly and warm Maasai guard- everyone made my daughter and I feel right at home. We hired a fantastic chef, Robinson through the agency and he made the best food at our request every day and the cost was reasonable. This is a must book for a peaceful vacation in Zanzibar away from the commercial hotel scene. Thank you Paolo for hosting us!

Loved staying at Dullah's, he was very welcoming even staying up til 2am when we arrived due to delayed flight. The whole villa was gorgeous with spacious rooms, clean floors, pristine bathroom and crip sheets. The power including wifi would go off especially at night, we were prewarned and in Africa so didn't bother us but could for some. Dullah hooked us up with local companies for scuba diving and was full of recommendations! Could have communicated a little bit clearer on prices of laundry and paying for water as there was a bit of confusion but otherwise wonderful place to stay.

Дом и сад обслуживают три человека, все очень приветливы и всегда рады помочь. Надо иметь в виду, что в доме нет кондиционера. Проветривание идет за счет открытых окон и с вечера дует хороший бриз с моря. Но под утро может быть немного душно.

This house in Matemwe was gorgeous and the perfect get away for our little family. The design was modern, sophisticated, and functional. The rooms and service were top notch. I especially enjoyed the laundry and turn down service. We loved having access to the pool right outside each bedroom, since the beach was a bit of a hike. The breakfast that was included was always good, but we felt the dinners we opted into were incomplete and not the best value (only water, no condiments, etc.). Susan also connected us with a driver, Hassan, for the duration of our stay. He was kind and flexible, which made getting around the island very convenient. This house is one of my favorite AirBNBs ever! Asante sana to Susan and staff. We would stay definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! The place is spacious, modern, and full of color, with beautiful lighting that made it feel so inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful and right on the beach. We especially loved being able to enjoy the view from our private infinity pool! It really added something special to the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. Overall, great value for money. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Vi var en storfamilie på 13 i alder fra 2 -73 som tilbrakte en uke der. Shakira og hennes stab gjorde alt de kunne for at vi skulle trives og hjalp oss med transport og ekskursjoner. Fint basseng som passet godt for både liten og stor. Bare en trapp skilte stedet fra den flotte stranden. Stedet var inngjerdet og vi følte oss veldig trygge for både store og små. Vi laget de fleste måltider selv og kunne disponere kjøkkenet når vi ville.

Hostly’s team was incredibly flexible and made sure my group had a fantastic 7-night stay—and my birthday celebration was unforgettable! The villa’s view is surreal, and the housekeepers/breakfast makers were lovely—they even baked me a birthday cake and decorated my room! Most reported issues were swifty addressed. I used Hostly's spa services, and the 90-min outdoor massages were heavenly. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the two pools and beach access. Areas for improvement: - Stronger generator to power AC and hot water during outages - Stronger Wi-Fi; spotty connectivity was a challenge without SIM cards - More breakfast variety over a week-long stay - Regular pest control to reduce mosquitoes and flies - Some bathrooms lacked shower-toilet separation, causing water to spread - Prefer communication via Airbnb app for seamless discussions Despite these issues, Hostly’s amazing service and flexibility made our stay incredible. Highly recommend this stunning villa!

Overall, this place was fantastic. It’s a traditional Zanzibar design so it’s not a modern place, but exactly what we wanted. We were thrilled to be there with our large group of two families, including 5 children. Rasheed was excellent and accommodated all of our requests. Food, especially breakfast, was delicious. The beach outside the villa is pristine, with white sand beaches and a beautiful Indian Ocean right outside the doorstep. The private pool was incredible. The villa rental subsidizes the Tamani Foundation and its students, so staying here contributes to the education of local kids. Win win.

We booked both connecting airbnbs. They are identical. The prompt was even better than pictured. Many ig picture worthy spots. There is only ac on the bedrooms so the common areas do get warm. The house manager was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend getting the chef he did a great job. There is a little convenience store about 10 min walk but other than that there isn’t a whole lot around. The location is an hour drive from The rock restaurant, stone town and the northern beach.

This place was absolutely awesome. You will not find a better place in Zanzabar. The beach is great and the accommodations were spectacular. We really had a great time on this trip because of the location of this Airbnb.

Absolutely brilliant place. This was my first time in Zanzibar and I really enjoyed the time in this beautiful villa. Very peaceful location, extremely attentive staff both on site and online via group chat, villa itself is very modern, really well equipped and comes with a lovely private pool (which was extremely well maintained and cleaned every morning). There is a restaurant on site that offers a really good selection of meals and drinks throughout the day.

This is a great house, beautifully decorated and right on the beach. The pool was a great choice for the kids. Staff is very friendly. The partnership with Poa Poa Restaurant is a nice addition (including free breakfast!). I would recommend this villa and I would come back.

This was by far the best place we stayed at, which was agreed upon by a group of 6 guests. Check-in was very flexible and the place looked even better than described on the site. The place was cleaned daily and Co host Bakari was very attentive by coming daily to check on us. The surrounding areas were amazing and great food was all around the place. There was nothing that fell short. Overlooking the beach with bbq amenities on the roof top that offered great views all around. This place was phenomenal. Five stars in our view.

Super Fantastic Host Extraordinary. I am yet to meet any host of Carol’s capacity. Over and beyond that call of duty. I love to cook on holidays, Carol was my guide that took me to the local market, made sure I wasn’t reaped off by the locals. Went to two different markets. Helped to change currency at the local bureau de change. All around astonishing and outstanding ! Highly recommended and appreciated.

Our stay at the villa in the heart of Kidoti was truly unforgettable! The serene surroundings and beautifully designed minimalistic space made for a unique and relaxing experience. Mama Sulay was an incredible host, always available to provide helpful local tips, and the chef was one of the kindest people we met on our trip, his breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The villa blends seamlessly with nature, offering an open and airy feel. As a heads-up for future guests, the main villa is within the same garden and pool area as the host’s home, so while the setting is peaceful, those seeking complete privacy should take this into account. Additionally, since the villa is designed to be in harmony with nature, there are no glass windows, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs for added comfort. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and we highly recommend it to those looking for an authentic and tranquil getaway in Zanzibar!

Great stay at Kendwa, nested amongst local homes, very quiet at night and cozy villa. Pool was amazing and sunset views from the rooftop were unbelievable. Short straight 3 minute downhill walk to Kendwa beach. I’d stay here again, thanks to the friendly and flexible host Omar, the housekeeper Mussa for his readily availability and Chef Ali for a great in house breakfast experience.
