We book many Airbnbs and Heather’s worked out great! We went to hike New River Gorge NP and surrounding SP. Her home is very close to Canyon Rim Visitor Center and Thurmond Historic District. She is a little further from Grandview, and Sandstone Visitor Center, but, all are drivable and worth seeing. She provides excellent binders of hikes, waterfalls, and overlook tours. We felt at home in her duplex. We were able to cook meals and enjoyed watching the birds out the kitchen window. Heather provided all the kitchen and bathroom necessities. She was very responsive when we had a couple of questions and even stopped by when we asked her. It was nice to meet her. If you are looking for a practical and comfortable place to stay that is convenient to a host of activities, this should work for you. We highly recommend and would stay here again. We enjoyed our stay in Fayetteville. The place was great for our family, 2 adults and 4 children. It was clean and kitchen had nice utensils and amenities. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. It was fairly close to town and some hiking trails. We would stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Such a hidden gem. The hosts were super accommodating and were very friendly to communicate with. The outdoor fire pit was very relaxing and our daughter loved the chickens! The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed to cook and bbq!

This is a great house with an awesome view- the nicest place we’ve stayed in the area. A short drive to restaurants and hiking , comfortable beds and a very cool fire pit, we had such a good time. We plan to return!

Great place to stay near many New River Gorge trails. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Christy is friendly and reached out to check in to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Would stay here again!

I am originally from this area but recently moved to IL. I stayed here on a visit for my daughter’s birthday and I can say, 10/10 would book again. Super nice place! In a quiet neighborhood but still conveniently close to all things in town. All instructions/rules were very clear and while I didn’t have much communication with the host(because I didn’t need to), they seem to be very responsive and kind as well! VERY good price for this stay as well.

Had the best time at this airbnb with my family! It felt like a home away from home and had everything we needed for our trip! Would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfortable. Liked the bedroom with no windows because we like to sleep in darkness and the beds were comfortable. Also, like the covered parking because it allowed us to unload and load in the bad weather. The snacks and drinks the host provided was nice to curb a craving. There are small steps throughout which the host advised us to watch out for to avoid tripping. Place was convenient for visiting friends.

Had a great time staying here while I visited New River Gorge National Park! It was a clean, quiet, and cozy space that’s close enough to everything you need while still being in a small town. I loved the craft room! I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

A really great value! We found the space extremely cozy and enjoyed relaxing there during our ski trip.

This cute apartment is the perfect location for visiting New River Gorge and other beautiful parks in the area. It is also within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

I stayed in this unit for almost 3 months. The location was quiet, despite being above businesses and I never heard any noise from below. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and relax on the balcony that has chairs and tables. There's plenty of parking out front of the building. The building is secure. The apartment is just like the pictures. It's modern and has plenty of wall plugs. It has many amenities and lots of little extras Pam has included so all you need do is bring food and enjoy your stay. And it is super clean. Hostess Pam was very friendly, proactive and quick to reply to communications. You won't be disappointed staying here.
