Fantastic home. Fantastic view. Fantastic host. Awesome 2 weeks. The kitchen was fully equipped; the shower had great water pressure; the host left lots of space in the shelves and cupboards so there was tons of room to store our own items; barbecue was good-absolutely everything was provided to support a great stay. The host was exceptionally responsive -and accommodating. 5 stars with numerous exclamation marks!!!

Our stay at Terence Bay was incredible. The location is stunning—right on the beach with beautiful views of a lighthouse. My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks, go hiking along the seashore and even find sea glass right in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more and my family didn’t want our time to end! The property was spotless and even better than the pictures. Our two kids especially loved the bunk bed room. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure bliss. Danielle, our host, was fantastic—always helpful and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely cared about us having a great trip. She offered us tips and help when needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and family.

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Our favorite stop during our vacation. Such a wonderful, beautiful and special place. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The entire process was easy. Ousamma was so accommodating and communicative. We will be returning in the next few summers. Our kids loved the goats and exploring the island. We loved the hot tub and the incredible views. Unmatched by anywhere we’ve visited. So much fun!

A beautiful oasis of tranquility. From the moment you step foot into your surroundings, any stress just disappears. We had an incredibly relaxing time! Jay was very responsive and friendly!

I was looking for a last minute booking when I had to abandon my camping plans due to a storm. Dee was super responsive to my last minute request and was extremely accommodating making sure that I had plenty of fire wood and water in case the power went out. She also dropped off extra towels and blankets for my pup and was warm and welcoming to us both. The property is off the main road and was great for playing frisbee with my dog. The old store was wonderfully refurbished, keeping many of the original features while providing all the modern conveniences. I hope to be back!!!

Wow!!! What can I say, unfortunately there is no 10 stars to rate this place and Courtenay. She has done such a fantastic job, we arrived there was water in the fridge and milk, fresh cookies and local caramels from Lure!! I felt like it was my birthday. Beautiful little notes left for us all to welcoming us to the property. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and in Nova Scotia and these guys knocked it out of the park. I need to go and re-review previous properties to make the level of service, support and quality of the accommodation make sense. This is beyond 5 stars and actually deliver so well so thoughtfully that I would not want to stay anywhere else. Amazing location, sunrise and sunset were just beautiful over the ocean. Tucked away but still close for groceries or nipping into Halifax. Courtenay was super responsive but honestly everything is there so no need to ask for anything. Tea, coffee, everything you need other than main groceries was a big help.

I arrived feeling exhausted after a long drive from the USA. But, what a great place to land in Nova Scotia! I slept like a baby in a very comfy bed. The surroundings are beautiful--tucked amidst trees and overlooking the waters of La Have river- I found a little piece of paradise here. The cottage itself is charming. A well stocked kitchen including treats from the La Have bakery. Can't resist that! Joe is such a friendly and kind host. I appreciated that he was always quick to respond to any questions. He can tell you about all the sights and restaurants in the area. My favorite was Cresent Beach about a 15 minute drive--what a place to walk your dog and experience the ocean. I highly recommend staying here!

After many days on the road, it was fantastic to park our motorcycles at the Red Roof and totally unplug. It is a gorgeous, peaceful location ...... just soaking in the ebb and flow of the bay was perfect and Phil was a great host....we highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! We enjoyed everything at the lake - swimming, kayaking, napping in the hammocks! The little duck family was adorable and the highlight of every morning. We found a lot to do in the general area. Highly recommended!!!

Myself and some girlfriends needed a quiet weekend away and this was the perfect spot. The home was clean and equipped, a gorgeous view of the beach with the comforting sound of crashing waves, comfy beds, and had lots of options for relaxation and fun. It is very close in proximity to neighbours with little outdoor privacy which was fine for us but may not be for others! Overall, we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you!!

We all had the most magical of holidays and are so grateful that Caitlin shares this beautiful home. We made such core memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. To have such an outstanding host as well as a dream location. Alecia's place is very special. My wife and I have stayed in many short-term rental properties in the area, and hers stands out. First, it's a new house so it is super clean and modern. Second, it is a short walk to one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in Nova Scotia, Cherry Hill Beach. We walked the beach once or twice a day, which is especially nice at a lower tide. Third, it is quiet, completely away from traffic or noise. It was like a retreat from the speedy human world that allowed us to slow down and relax. Forth, the view from the many windows is stunning. We highly recommend Alecia's place, and we're already planning our next stay!

Amazing place to enjoy our family Christmas under one roof. Spacious and so cozy all in one! We loved the fireplace and the easy access to the beach. There was a snowstorm when we were there and so we were nestled in all day. It was so beautiful to watch the storm roll in and feel so comfortable!

We frequently travel as a large group and are used to splitting up due to our size, so finding a place that can accommodate all of us is a challenge. Melanie and Thomas went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and we couldn’t be more grateful. With 17 of us staying under one roof, you’d never guess there were so many—it was that spacious! The house is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen essentials to speakers and pool toys. Melanie and Thomas are truly the most kind and welcoming hosts we’ve ever encountered. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—just book it! Next time, we’re definitely staying for at least three nights because we weren’t ready to leave!

This is our second stay at this Airbnb. We love it!! So spacious, chic and comfortable. The world’s comfiest couch in the basement is no lie. We always host games and it is the best space for it. When we had an issue the hosts were responsive and so kind!!! Can’t wait to be back :)

The house is simply stunning and is in a lovely area. The view of the beach is over the top! Candace is very responsive and the house is well-stocked for cooking. We also were very happy with the location. Not too far from food shopping but away from the bustle of the tourist areas. We would come back in a heartbeat!
