This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Rosa's place is great---attractive, well equipped, good location, comfortable, clean. Rosa is very responsive---always got back to me almost immediately when I had a question. Would definitely stay again!

Maria & Chris set the bar for kindness. They are down-to-earth and great communicators. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

If you need to stay in West Berkeley, this is a very convenient spot. The cottage is unusual and artistic. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs kitchen with loads of windows.

I had an absolutely tranquil and relaxing stay at this wonderful Airbnb! Nestled in a quiet suburb, it was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful space to unwind with its beautiful greenery and serene atmosphere. The neighborhood was calm, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Barbara was a wonderful hostess. Due to incoming winter weather at home, we had to adjust our stay at the last minute. Barbara was understanding and accommodating. She greeted us up on arrival and had personal touches for us as first-time grandparents. Would definitely stay again!

We had a restful stay at Polina's. Everything was as described. I suggest arriving during daylight when you check in since the surrounding streets can be confusing.

Leslie's guest cottage is a peaceful, spacious getaway in a pleasant neighborhood right of the 101. Her chicken ranch is adorable and quiet and we found it easy to relax in her private guesthouse.

The quest house is esthetically nice and well equipped. I enjoyed looking out to the patio with the bamboo screen and greenery. The location is very convenient to the freeway. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The garden suite was very comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. The amenities were just as described. Mary Lee and David are gracious hosts and very responsive to any request.

The location is fantastic. Within 5 minutes of walking you are in the open space nature and within 10 minutes you are at the ocean. My wife and I spent a whole day walking up and down the coast with one pitstop back in the house (because it was so close to the trail). The guesthouse is cosy but includes everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great for a brief stay! I spent just a single night for work purposes and it was comfortable, very quiet, and very easy for check in/out. Accessible, safe neighborhood for walks, nearby some good restaurants.

Slavik's Airbnb is tastefully decorated and thoughtful about traveller's needs. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking condiments and basics. The garden is beautiful and the location is convenient to Downtown San Carlos, stores and services. We had a pleasant stay and will to return in the future.

Great stay, perfect for kids because the space isnt cluttered at all. Felt comfortable and Christina was so kind and generous. She brought us a table and chairs and small trampoline for the kids and it made our stay so much better. Would definitely stay again.

Helen's place is roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The dishwasher and washer/dryer provided added convenience. The location is just off busy Woodside Road with a Safeway market about 5 minutes away on foot.

First let me start by saying the pictures posted are exactly as the place! It’s street parking but felt safe as a residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. Kananu was very respectful & responsive within minutes if not seconds! Kananu’s place has everything you need to feel right at home. The host gave nice recommendations for what’s in the area for dining, fun activities for all ages & shopping. We had a small issue with the water heater making nose and she was able to get the issue resolved quickly without interfering with our stay. I would definitely recommend Kananu’s place to anyone traveling to the area and definitely will be back for another stay! Her place definitely makes you feel like you’re in your own home.

Fantastic location. Very nice hosts. We had a difficult time unlocking the door (it requires a certain trick). Luckily the host answered her phone and met us at the unit and taught us how to use the door. It was late and cold, so it was unfortunate, but grateful for the helpful host. We found the unit to be very nice, but quite drafty in the winter. We were traveling with a small baby, so this was a challenge. I bet this unit is wonder to stay in in the Spring and Summer months.

Elie’s place was great! Very comfortable, great location, easy to get to, very nice place! Elie was a great host always answered any questions we had and attentive to anything we needed.

This perfectly-appointed cabin in the sky was the ideal escape “between the years.” It rained every day of our stay but that did not stop us from walking down to the beach, grabbing a bite at Parkside Cafe, and exploring every hiking trail in walking distance. (Highly recommend the Dipsea trail to Steep Ravine with a side bar to the Stinson Tree.) Carey really thought of everything: not only was the bed comfy and the place spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well-equipped (cream for the coffee!) as was the bathroom (thick towels!) We especially appreciated the clear instructions for operating windows and other things. It was our best Airbnb experience to date and we can’t wait to come back.

Jim and Te were great! We didn’t actually see each other in person but they made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. At one point I had a package delivered that I was hoping would be placed in the back since I wasn’t going to be home until late and was concerned about porch pirates. Jim and Te went out of their way to have their neighbor help move it since they weren’t home that day. Really appreciated that extra effort!
