Kowhai Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. I stayed while I was working and found it completely quiet and peaceful with great internet and very comfortable. It is a totally charming cottage from the days of early settlement with original features. It has been sensitively restored and is absolutely charming. Susie met me on arrival and was very welcoming. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’m already looking forward to returning. And the view out to the paddocks, and the manse is breathtaking. A truly beautiful spot.

Nice spot close to the village centre. Very comfortable room. The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check in.

来新西兰度蜜月的第一个住处，在漂亮又安静的农场里，享有独立的一栋小木屋~房东就住在旁边，响应很及时，回复速度很快，也很热情~有两只小狗，虽然没有近距离能看到牛羊是小小遗憾，但还是非常感谢这里美好的入住体验~因为太累睡着了，要不然在小木屋右边方向应该能看到超级美的夕阳！谢谢房东的热情招待，也谢谢房东丈夫在晚上来给我们开门哈哈~期待以后有机会再来~😁😁😁

The only thing that would have made this beyond amazing would have been a spa or outdoor bath even, somewhere to soak. This place is utter perfection and has been on of my favourites of all time. I see in past reviews some have complained about bird droppings but its a church like building and as most would know birds and pigeons love these buildings, to be honest it was great hearing them flutter away in the morning. The owners should be so proud, they have provided such a beautiful location/accommodation, its something memorable. What a hidden gem

We loved staying at Carolyn's air b&b, we felt right at home in this peaceful home! The home is well maintained and has all the essential amenities required. The surrounding scenery is beautiful!

Jennie’s place was in a great location and set up very stylish and yet quaint. The extras she provided ( fresh dairy milk for coffee or cereal,bubble bath for hot tub, coffee, etc ) were a very homey touch. It’s in the country and yet close to town. The hot tub was awesome. The place is small but it’s a shepherds wagon and that’s how they are , it’s perfect for one or two people for sure. I am going to highly recommend her place to friends who are traveling NZ next year. Jennie is very friendly and helpful A solid 10 all around rating from me

it is comfortable house with beautiful surroundings and cute animals. I will recommend my friends to stay this cozy house, if they come to Oamaru.
