We had a late cancellation on another property due to flooding. We booked this property last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great location, loads of restaurants and pubs. Graham was super responsive and helpful. Parking was a bonus. Only very minor downside was the double bed which wasn’t very comfortable but fine for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

It was a lovely stay at lock Chambers on Loch ness, Our room having a lovely view over fort Augustus. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby for lovely meals and drinks. It was a lovely stay!

A nice home in a quaint village. About a mile from the ferry so walking with our backpacks was not bad at all. We had minimal personal contact with Mary but she was friendly and helpful -- particularly in letting us know we would be able to arrange for pickup by a private tour guide for our time on Skye and that we needed to book ahead at the restaurant. Breakfast was convenient, just outside the door of our room.

Das Hotel hat eine unglaublich gemütliche Lobby mit Kamin, eine tolle Bar und schöne Bibliothek. Das sieht man auf den Fotos nicht und war daher das absolut beste und überraschendste Plus meines Aufenthalts! Die Leute, die dort arbeiten waren zudem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das einzige war, dass die Zimmer relativ ringhörig waren, da es ein eher älteres Gebäude ist. Super Abendessen und Frühstück. Würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

I knew Robert’s pub restaurant, the Babbity Bowster but this was my first time staying in one of the six rooms. All clean, well equipped (USB sockets, bottled mineral water, kettle, good toiletries) and the bathroom was spotless. The area can be a little rowdy at times as it’s above a busy pub, but it never really disturbed me. The bar staff are so kind, friendly and even brought the food I ordered up to my room as it was packed downstairs. Loved it!

Beautiful stay! Lovely staff and id recommend for people to go on a Wednesday as they have live music!

The Oaks has been a cute B&B. Everything has been super clean and there was quite a good snack and breakfast variety. Carly also made us some space to dry some of our clothes. Overall a lovely experience and a lovely host!

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.

Great location and Suzanne was very helpful. Took my dog on a hiking weekend and this was perfect for what we needed!

Great stay, Suzanne was really helpful and friendly. Got a sea view which was a great! Perfect location for the ferry to Weymess Bay and close to lots of places to eat as well as being on the water, and well connected to other bays by good bus service. Really good place to stay on a budget.

Rose and David are amazing, they cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable as they can. From directions and recommendations to providing an umbrella to combat the unpredictable Scottish weather. Genuinely a lovely couple who excel at what they do. We look forward to staying with them again.

Comfortable stay at King’s Knoll Hotel. Easy check-in and it had everything we needed. Close proximity to Oban centre.
