We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We only walked to the beach once for the sunrise, but spent the rest of the time in the house. We loved that each room was spacious, clean, and had a bathroom for each room.

Incredible location, and close to everything!

Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

John got back to me quickly when I had any questions. I could get ahold of him anytime. The place was perfect for our families-enough beds for everyone (8). Plenty of towels and the golf cart was in great shape.

This place was perfect. It was centrally located, easy to get to, dog friendly and had everything anyone would need on a trip. We were there for work and couldn’t have had a better stay. Lindsey and Thomas were so responsive with any questions I had. The staff also was super nice. We will definitely be booking again for future work trips!

We’ve been vacationing in Ocean Lakes for many years and have stayed at multiple different homes & cottages. This cottage is now our favorite! Great location with the resort. Nicely decorated. Perfect size for our family. The kiddos loved the bunk room and all the games and toys the host had available. The shed is stocked with everything you could possibly need for the best beach vacation! The porch is very comfortable and relaxing & the fire table was the cherry on top! The host has definitely considered everything a guest may need and has it readily available! We will definitely book again soon!

Absolutely loved this day! It was the perfect place for my dogs and I to have a great weekend away and enjoy Oak Island. Super close to an awesome dog park and great restaurants downtown. Loved the space and the set up.

my family has an issue with the AirBnb we booked and needed an emergency place quickly. I found David's place and immediately booked. I explained our situation of the previous place since we just booked for the night around 8pm. Because I booked so quickly to get my family in a better situation, I forgot to book with the dog and immediately texted them the situation. They were so responsive, understanding and accommodating! I am so thankful for this!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean and so cute with all of the extras. Location was wonderful and loved all the restaurant suggestions. Brenda really thought of everything! We hope to be repeat customers. Thank you Brenda for making our first trip to the coast so awesome!!

Leslie Ann's place was perfect size for our family of four. We loved the space underneath the house, which was spacious and great for hanging out. The location was amazing being less than 5 minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

Was in the perfect part of town. Fun, food, shopping, sweet treats, kids play ground, swings by the lake and so much more with in steps of the house. We knew the first part of our stay would have some ugly weather....we didn't hear a thing our first night and plenty in house to keep you busy. From the video games and tvs throughout...the books were all amazing...the record player!! Got to explain to my daughter who Pink Floyd was and she heard it on vinyl! Awesome memory! No doubt 100 out of 10!!!!!

The place was great. Felt very a spacious and private. The fenced in yard was very well maintained and great for our pups. Great, friendly people. We have stayed in Wilmington/Wrightsville many time and this location is great. While it’s not on the beach, it’s so close and lots of walkable dining. Super close to Airlie Gardens and the harbor for sunsets. Thanks for the stay!

We booked last minute so we didn’t have to drive home in bad weather. Mary was so accommodating and we felt at home immediately. It is comfortable and well appointed, across the street from the beach and minutes drive to great restaurants. The $3 happy hour house margaritas at ChimichangaLlama are the best. Walk the beach at sunrise and sunset or sit on the deck and stargaze. Super lovely place and gracious host. Enjoy!

Janet’s and Mark’s Airbnb has become our go to for our annual winter family gathering. We’ve had great experiences during multiple stays here and hope to stay here again in the future! They have been helpful, personable, and responsive. The place is perfectly suited for quality family time, whether cooking, lounging, or heading to the beach.

If you are looking for a very clean, well kept, fully stocked and cozy home, then this is the place that you need to book. Jenn is a wonderful host and her communication is very timely. There was a storm the week of our stay that ended up putting us one day behind due to flooding. Jenn was very accommodating and quickly refunded one night for us. She could not get to the house to clean due to flooding but asked a friend to assist. We were able to get to the house the very next day and start our vacation. The house is stocked with extra beach chairs, bikes, an outdoor grill, toiletries and any kitchen item that you may need. Jenn was thoughtful enough to have bottled water in the fridge incase you had a long trip. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating on the patio. Under the house she has swings where you can enjoy the beach weather and beautiful views of the marsh. Our family has already planned on coming back again next year. I loved everything about our stay. It was so clean. The porch, decor, bed (mattress was exactly my comfort level) the sound machine was great. Craftsmanship was well done. Heating units were efficient & quiet, easy instructions. The area was quiet and so close to the beach. Being able to hear the ocean from the cottage was a nice suprise, it felt like we were on the water. There are horses (and maybe a donkey) nearby. That was another bonus because I love seeing animals in beautiful surroundings. We ordered food from Sorellis Pizza (pizza, pepperoni rolls) & Sea Biscuit Cafe (Fried Green Tomato Blt, Braised shirt rib grilled cheese) all were delicious. Anywhere went in the area the staff was so friendly. Gretchen was very kind/thoughtful, I truly appreciated that. My hubby and I agree, this was a fantastic getaway. One of our faves, like right at the top. I have a feeling we'll be back! I loved feeling safe comfortable and right at home. Thanks Gretchen.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a 'beachy' feel to it and we felt relaxed and in beach mode the second we walked in. The path to the beach was right across the street from the house and the beach location is hard to beat....simply magnificent. Everything we needed from Publix to restaurants was just minutes away. Shannon and I highly recommend this home and we are sure to be back soon! Glenn

My family took an off season visit to the beach and we had great time staying in this beautiful , clean cottage! Perfect location close to everything. The golf cart definitely is a great plus. The host were very responsive and helpful, the instructions are clear and easy to check in too. Highly recommended !

We had a great time in Myrtle Beach. Our stay was very pleasant and so comfortable. Host was very friendly and responded quickly. The cottage was very clean and neatly decorated. Had all the essentials we needed. And so close to many great places. I would likely be back to this one on my next visit to Myrtle Beach. Thank you for hosting us!

This is my 5th stay at Mike’s place and I keep coming back because it’s just magic. Perfect little beach cottage right on the water. Coffee on that porch is one of my favorite places. Mike is always kind and responsive.
