Nice place. Close to town but far enough away to relax

Staying here was amazing. Private and peaceful despite the closeness of the campground. We could barely tell it was there. We enjoyed the stocked kitchen to cook in and the large firepit. We brought our own kayaks and the lake was beautiful. Caught sunfish and small mouth bass. We loved all the historic knick-knacks that decorated the beautifully updated home. Bring bug spray (they had some, but it is near marshland so you definitely need it) and your own food to save due to the closest store being super expensive. It's such a great place to relax and get on the water. There was so much natural light and the house stayed cool enough by being in the shade that we just left the windows open and never had to use the A/C. Watch out for the couch and king bed as they are super comfy! Definitely would stay here again and would try out the hammock after it had dried out more.

The perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Great for kids or couples. Liked having the option for other activities (kayaks, paddle boat, swim pad). Very quiet, wonderful view. House exactly as listed and photos shown. Loved having the ability to bring a dog with us. Highly recommend staying here.

My group had a wonderful time! We would certainly recommend to anyone who loves to explore the beauty of Northern Michigan!

This cabin was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. We really didn’t need to bring much. Chairs provided around the fire pit and also at the beach area. Easy check in, very clean. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views, quaint, comfortable, and homey place to unwind and recharge! Local store and restaurant within walking distance. Everything you might have forgotten and need is a short drive into town.

all i have to say is we willl be back ☺️ we got beautiful pics of some wildlife, very peaceful, we were looking for bears 🤣🤣 once we found out that bears have been known to be in the area. the back room with all the windows was my favorite part of the whole house

Cheryl’s place was amazing! Lots and lots of room, very well stocked! We will definitely stay there again. Cheryl was very responsive and answered all of my questions.

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Everything listed was there and everything worked as expected. Will definitely consider booking again.

My 3 sons and I had a great time at Steve’s cabin. We had docking for our 2 boats and my dog could access the water easily. The fire pit and wood supply was a huge hit. The lake was as peaceful and beautiful as I remember it from the 70’s. The cabin had a lot more personality than any new-build could ever have. The location was very private and quiet. The fact that most of the cabins are vacation homes makes Sage Lake all that more desirable.

Absolutely a beautiful cabin, there is access to a lot of golf courses and restaurants that are a short drive away. As others have mentioned there is everything that you need at the cabin.

Enjoyed our stay, host was very helpful, easy to communicate with. Cabin is very cute, well done. For an inflatable, hot tub was surprisingly comfortable. Overall nice little place to stay, good value for the price :)

One thing I might suggest. Is to add a fire pit or grill. I can totally respect and understand not wanting meant cooked inside the residence. The dome has so much personality. I loved it.

Joy is the best AirBnB hostess I have experienced. Kind, thoughtful and responsive. In the last year, Joy upgraded the heating and made other thoughtful updates. This was my second stay and I plan to return. It’s December and Winter Holiday decorated: a Hot Chocolate Bar, treats, lights, matching forest animal bedding, Unicorn Elf Wraps at the door and Gingerbread nods throughout. It felt like Winter Magic. We had a four generation family and everyone loved it. Kitchen is stocked with supplies. Just bring food to cook easy meals and your dishwashing hands. Don’t forget your hot tub attire and hang out overlooking the lake. It is sheltered from the winter lake wind. Stay inside for game night or snuggle on the couch to watch a movie. So many games to choose from. Our dogs loved coming back and were so relaxed. A fenced lakeside yard to explore. Space for zoomies and chase. A bed and toy box in the living room. A treat jar in the kitchen. Treat this home with love, Joy surely does.
