Came here for my wife’s birthday with a group of friends and by far has been one of the cleanest most enjoyable stays. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Would love to return to this place in the future.

We had an amazing stay! House is beautiful and so cozy. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We especially loved the porch area with the fireplace and tv. Amazing outdoor retreat. All of the beds were super comfortable. And located in the best area in Athens. Gorgeous neighborhood! Thanks for everything!

We have stayed here multiple times. I have no complaints. Everything was great. It is an ideal place if fishing a bass tournament. You can easily park a truck and boat. A boat ramp is 100 yards away from house.

Home was just what we needed for our family group. We loved the spacious house and yard. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely home. We will stay again if we’re traveling that way!

This is a great place to stay and I look forward to visiting again. Pros: the house is in a great location that is convenient to UGA, grocery stores and restaurants. The house has a peaceful and charming vibe and feels like home. The beds are super comfortable and the linens are nice, too. The rooms have fans and AC units for added comfort. The house does back up to a busy street so it can be a little loud during the day but is very quiet at night. The surroundings are beautiful. One area for potential improvement would be to add additional cutlery and general kitchen utensils as well as adding a curtain over the glass door to the master bedroom. Bottom line: I would stay at this property again if in Athens!

We stayed a week in January 2025, and this is now our go-to first choice place to stay when visiting family in Athens. Easy, relaxing, peaceful, clean, lots of space. It made our week so much more relaxing than staying in a hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Garden Home. I loved having a house to ourselves, it was private, quiet and peaceful even though it is surrounded by a couple of smaller apartment complexes, we never heard any noise from the surrounding buildings. Host's communication was excellent with easy check in. Home was comfortable with everything you would need for your stay. Close to UGA campus and Broad Street with lots of eating options and things to do. The King bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Only recommendation I would make would be a recliner in the living room instead of the sitting chairs for more comfortable seating, but the couch was great. Only downside is the bathroom is small with limited countertop space to get ready. Definitely would stay here again if we ever return to Athens. It's a quaint, cute home!

There is not better host than Ashley! We have stayed at their home twice and EVERYTHING was amazing! Absolutely perfect stay!

Lovely place! Reminded me both of how airbnbs used to be (lots of interesting decor, comfortable, and a feeling of "lived in") and my old college days. Easy to walk to downtown Athens. Comfortable beds.

This is our second time staying for a month long or longer stay. Parker is a great host and even set up some Christmas decorations to welcome us when we arrived right before Christmas. We always feel at home here. Parker is quick to respond. If you have a chance walk over to Maepole for some delicious food! We will definitely be back next year.

Our stay was very brief but just what we needed, with enough beds and a place for four of us to gather for an evening in Athens. Michael was very communicative, welcoming and responsive -- thank you! Kathryn’s place was perfect for our needs. We were visiting family in the area over Christmas. This home is just a lovely older farmhouse with large roomy accommodations in a private and quiet setting. The bedding was comfortable and there was ample hot water. It was quite cold during our visit but the home was warm and comfortable. It was so nice to enjoy beautiful antique pieces of furniture and artwork. There was a wonderful collection of books to enjoy. The yard space was large and both the front porch and back deck made for a great place to enjoy the surrounding nature. We saw deer and a plethora of song birds. Kathryn checked in with us and was both accommodating and communicative. We will definitely book this home again if available during our next visit.

I had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful home! The house itself is GORGEOUS with high ceilings and so much space….Margaret was also very warm and accommodating in all communications, and I will be recommending this house to anyone I know visiting Athens! 10,000/10 experience!

We had a great stay for our weekend volleyball tournament. Very relaxing get away after long game days. Wild life and surrounding nature was nice! Saw lots of deer! The house was perfect and just the right size for our group of 6.
