We had the pleasure of staying at this stunning brand-new home, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The house was impeccably equipped, with everything we could possibly need and more. The kitchen had brand-new appliances and all the essentials (and more), the living areas were spacious and beautifully furnished, and the bedrooms were super comfortable. The indoor-outdoor flow was perfect, with large sliding doors opening to a gorgeous outdoor space where we could soak up the sun, enjoy meals, and relax. The grilling area with a table and chairs was ideal for cooking and dining outside. The views from the spa were breathtaking, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic – quiet and private, yet close to everything in Ohakune, and just a 50-minute drive to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Gerald, thank you for being such an exceptional host. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this spot for a luxurious getaway.

We had a great time here - family travelling with grown up children and partners who loved the hot tub and deck particularly. Thoughtfully designed property - we managed to do some laundry! Kitchen had everything we needed - we cooked as one of us is vegan. Tracy was in incredibly helpful when we had a flat tyre and needed to have it repaired - local recommendation and all done and dusted at very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Lawrence was very responsive and friendly and provided clear instructions if we needed to make contact. Home was warm, private and very clean. Great location, very close to amenities amd activities. A great stay! We especially enjoyed the wood fired outdoor tub and seeing the stars at night. It also has a great view of Mt Ngauruhoe.

Great place to stop overnight if you’re traveling in North Island. My family and I went on a trip to Papamoa beach and this home was a great choice at the halfway point. Would recommend a friends, we went in the summer, but I can only imagine it is amazing in the winter.

The house was a great location, walking distance of town. The only slight issue was street noise, no doubt exaggerated by the detour caused by the Desert Road closure, but we got used to it.

We had a fantastic stay - this house way exceeded expectations. We stayed as a large family group with a mix of ages and the property was safe and comfortable for everyone. Excellent layout and everything you need. Just like home away from home. Barry was an amazing host who communicated well and very quick response time. Thank you so much for a great stay! Robbie's house is an absolute gem. We stayed there for 2 nights whilst exploring the Tongariro National Park. The house build is quite modern and luxurious with a fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds, and hot showers. The house is located in a quiet area just off a road that leads to the town centre about 900m away. Robbie's communications were clear which made the check-in like a breeze. Definitely recommend.

What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

We really enjoyed our stay in the white cabin. The pool is lovely, a nice and clean bathroom cabin and the open kitchen is also really nice! The cabin is (as described) small but you have a lot of space around it. We had nice weather so were mostly outside. The only thing to consider is that the cabin (and rest of area) is close to a busy road. We are good sleepers but woke up sometimes when a truck was passing.

Lovely, peaceful stay in a very private location. Outdoor bath works really well (and was very welcome post-Tongariro crossing) and loads of space on the deck for relaxing. Ended up doing most of our cooking outside as not much space on the sides indoors but as the weather was warm this was quite a nice change. Would definitely recommend.

got to spend a couple of nights here for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike! Great location, just a few minutes away for restaurants but yet peaceful and quiet. The spa was very nice after the long hike!

Amazing stay! Well equipped cabin, all you need. Privacy, hidden in nature. All clean, easy to find.

The accommodation matched the description, the hostess is nice and helpful. The location makes the accommodation a great starting point for the Tongariro Alpine crossing. The bathroom was immaculately clean and even though it was shared with the other cabin, we found privacy in it. We very much appreciate the outdoor kitchen options. We highly recommend.
