Absolutely peace parades. Away from the hustle and bulse of city life. Beautiful, swimmable, fishable large pond with a few paddle boats and row boat plus life jackets for adults and children. Nice, Full Length covered front porch with swing and rocking chairs for relaxation while watching the Humming Birds feed from the feeders. They have thought of everything. Inside nice and clean and they even provide Wi-Fi access as well as a laptop for your use. All the cooking gadgets, utensils and cookware needed for anyone working the kitchen plus cooking items like Fish Fry powder, flour, condiments for just about anything 2 coffee makers (single cup Kureg and 12 cup drip both with either Kureg coffee cups or regular ground coffee and filters.) There is just Sooo much that can be said and Rodger N mary went Above and Beyond what you'd experience in most any place you can think of. I forgot to mention the FARM FRESH EGGS they provide. 5 STARS - BIG 3 THUMBS UP. We'll be back!!!

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

This is a special place. It was so peaceful, and after a few months of hectic life, it was wonderful to just relax and watch the birds at the bird feeder, or the stream rushing by. The house is a mix of old farm charm and modern amenities, with a beautiful kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The downstairs bathroom even has a bidet - such luxury! Had a family gathering for my mom's birthday, and the kids loved exploring inside and out, while the adults enjoyed the charm and relaxation. It was good for everyone to get away and get some of the peace found here! Love to come back again, especially in the summer. There's a small lake that's swimmable, and a little sun porch that seems perfect for lounging on a hot day. Bill was very friendly and showed how everything worked, and he provides every amenity. This is a great place to come with a small group to get away from it all!!

We had a great stay at this home. Very clean, very comfortable. Host was helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to visit the area.

The house was great. It was clean and had everything that was on the listing, except someone didn't shut off propane to firepit, so there wasn't propane, but that is something she asked to be done when leaving. It was a peaceful, quiet area. We felt comfortable in the home, and to take walks. My teen fell in love with the place. Kelly was extremely responsive on any messages, answering in an extremely timely manner.

This house it great! It’s super cute, very comfortable, a great place to stay in and do nothing or to go visit wineries. The buzz are extremely comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The host Even left us a bottle of wine and snacks. They couldn’t make it any easier.

Awesome property. Great house, beautiful yard, feels remote but is close to all the "city" amenities you'd want.

The home was beautiful and peaceful to stay at. The host was wondeful about giving full details to get to the property. The road getting down to it is probably a little intimidating if you are unfamiliar with hilly backroads but we had minimal issues getting to and from. Host left treats and drinks for the stay that everyone appreciated. The sounds of birds, the deer and the tranquil river flowing were a great way to appreciate the simpler parts of life. Would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Great neighborhood, lovely restaurants, close to plenty to do but you wouldn't really need to leave if you didnt want to.

We had a wonderful trip at the Airbnb. Marcy was a wonderful host and the lake/surroundings were beautiful! The Airbnb had everything we needed and more. We were able to have a lovely fire on the first night and go kayaking on the second day as well. The property was peaceful and the people (and dog Shaggy) were very friendly and accommodating. My now fiancé found the property so beautiful that this was where he proposed to me. After such an amazing weekend, we will definitely be returning! Thank you again Marcy for such an amazing experience!

My two sons, me & our dog spent a few nights over spring break. Cozy, cute & rustic. We each had our own room. Two rooms overlook the river. The hot tub was great & very clean. Nice fire pit, beautiful view & very peaceful. Overall, very neat & tidy. Had everything we needed. The directions were very precise, which was useful. Robert was extremely thorough, available & helpful. Would highly recommend & would stay here again!

My kids & pet loved the place. It was very cozy… we watched streaming movies & shows during the rain. We caught & released 4 catfish off the dock. My family wants me to book it again in the future. Several restaurants & coffe shop in walking distance.

We had a lovely time - the area is still recovering from a tornado but Tani made sure we knew before booking and provided great info for the area and for her home. Spacious, I had a great desk to work from with a nice view of water, ducks and boats. She had everything you could want available.

We had the most amazing Thanksgiving getaway at the Cottage by the Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere and breathtaking views of the lake. The cottage was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our holiday feast. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the property was. Our furry family member had the best time exploring the spacious yard. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that genuinely cater to pets, but this cottage went above and beyond. The quiet, peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for family bonding, were unforgettable. We are so grateful for this beautiful place and can’t wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

Had a wonderful stay at Jesse’s place! Was perfect for a girls getaway! Very beautiful and scenic! Do want to make a few notes that may be helpful to others as they stay— most of the doors, including bathrooms, are barn doors that are quite loud and may be an issue for anyone with noise/privacy concerns. There’s also a closet that connects from the closet to the main bedroom and the basement bedroom is open to the walkout. These weren’t issues for us but had we been traveling with kids or another couple it may have been an issue. The house also has neighbors immediately next door on both sides, the neighbor’s dog will notice you and barks a lot haha the pictures made it seem a little more remote so just wanted to note there are neighbors very close by as there is not an image of the front of the house. The house also did not come with coffee or shampoo/conditioner/body wash as many airbnbs do so keep that in mind in your packing! We had to stop to buy coffee after realizing this haha

We enjoyed our stay the cabin! It was a great place to relax with our family after a road trip and hiking. Our boys enjoyed the game selection and the cabin had everything we needed. William was a fantastic host and we appreciated his prompt and clear communication!

This is the sense one time I have stayed here and the configuration of the bedrooms have improved since the first stay. There is plenty of space for everyone

Stayed for a spring break trip with our kids and dog. Hocking Hills trails are easy to get too, cabin is clean and as described. Hosts were very receptive and communicative around an issue with the hot tub on our first night which got resolved quickly. Pup loved exploring the woods around cabin. Dogs must stay on first floor (bedrooms are on the second), which was no issue for us since we crate our dog anyways, but heads up if your dog sleeps with you. As other reviews state, the hill leading up to the cabin is steep and bumpy, but was totally doable in our SUV. Would highly recommend!!! Thank you for lending your beautiful home!

Not only is this cabin as beautiful as the pictures, but small touches set this place apart from other places I've stayed at. Heated toilet seats? Yes, please! Spotlessly clean, gorgeous views, and updated yet homey decor. More than once I sat in the living room, sipping coffee, gazing out over the lake as the sun came, and thought to myself, I could get used to this. They thought of everything. If you forgot it, it's there for you to use.

Had a much needed relaxing time at this cabin what felt like “home away from home” for 3 days. Would definitely go back and would definitely 10/10 recommend!! Beautiful views and a very relaxing time

This was our second time staying here and the cabin had been remodeled on the inside. It was great before, but the updates are beautiful! There are thoughtful touches everywhere. The kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked every night and never were lacking in what we needed. And the property is beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again!

20/10 that was an amazing stay the place was even better than what Barb. Described, we had everything we needed and more. It was so cozy and clean, and she was very patient dealing with my endless questions. Lol, I would be honored to come back here again. Best Airbnb experience I have ever had.
