Don Mar House was spacious and bright. There were good breezes passing through the house because of its closeness to the ocean. The air conditioning worked well but we found that we didn’t need it most nights because of the breezes. We loved our stay here because the kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. The washer & dryer worked well and there was plenty of space to hang up laundry. The two balconies added to our stay because they gave us wonderful shade in the morning and afternoon to enjoy our coffees and relax. There was comfortable furniture in both locations. We especially enjoyed the vistas on the front porch. The grounds of the Glitter Bay Resort across the street had well manicured gardens/trees where we could view the sunset. This location was a major asset and fit our needs well. We liked to walk as much as we could and use public transportation. There is a steady stream of buses going in both directions.

I can’t say enough about Salty Toes., it was perfect., Chloe was a great host., very attentive. We had a chance to meet her and the family., everyone was so kind and friendly. I hope I have an opportunity to stay there again sometime soon.

We loved staying at this place! The home was very comfortable, it had about everything you’d need, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy, and the location was great, especially if you like to surf. The beach nearest the house is great if you like to surf, watch surfers, or see sea turtles. If you want to swim, walk a few more minutes down the road to Miami Beach, and you’ll have one of the best swimming beaches in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

To say it was home from home is not quite accurate because it makes it sounds ordinary! This was far from ordinary it was exceptionally wonderful. Harba Lodge is a hidden jewel in Reid Gap. Hariret, her husband and sister Julliet are exceptional hosts. Upon arrival both Harriet and her husband were there too meet us with welcoming smiles and thoughtful considerations for our stay. There was nothing we could have wanted that was not catered for. From the toiletries in the bathrooms, to the food in the fridge and cupboards, to the key to their private driveway for our hired car. They were perfect - indeed 5 * plus. Our stay in your place was fabulous and your neighbours were dilligent and friendly. Your Holiday home was perfectly located and central to our visits to family, friends, beaches, shops and other places of interests. We definitely will stay again.

Endnu en gang tak for et rigtig dejligt ophold i jeres bolig. Vi har været glade for den megen plads i huset. Det fungerer superfint, når vi er mange i huset. Skøn overdækket terrasse hvor alle måltider blev spist. Skøn strand til badning og lange gåture . Tak for denne gang.

Host Michaela was great with communication. Soacious apartment clean, very well equipped and well positioned for Holetown 15 minute walk away. Huge comfortable bed. Lots of storage space. Nice terrace. Enjoyed our peaceful early mornings watching the monkeys go by. Use of a lovely pool 10 minute walk away.

Another wonderful stay at Rockley. Yuri is a great host, always on hand, nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is well equipped with a quiet balcony and you can see the pool from the kitchen. Supermarket and restaurants walkable and the food at the clubhouse is excellent. We will be back next year.

We loved our stay at this apartment! Photos and descriptions were accurate. The pool was such a great feature of the property. Close to two great surf spots. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful apartment. We couldn’t fault it. It was perfect. So clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The water pressure was brilliant and always plenty of hot water. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the beach club and pool, supermarket, restaurants etc… The apartment has everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Wlady is the perfect host. So helpful and friendly and so responsive. He provided lots of useful information before arriving which was great. Tina who manages the apartment is also fantastic. Again so responsive, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay in this wonderful apartment and we will definitely be back. Wlady and Tina go the extra mile to make sure their guests have the most amazing time. Thank you x

Loved loved this place It’s a gorgeous, spacious apartment with everything u need to relax and enjoy. The gardens and pool area are beautiful with plenty of sunloungers. Loved seeing the hummingbirds and monkeys in the garden. The ladies who clean are so sweet and friendly so is the gardener we loved chatting to them. Ian and Helen were amazing hosts so accommodating and helpful Defo recommend and hope to Return soon.

I visited Barbados for the first time with my family and enjoyed pretty much staying here. You have your privacy except for the pool area that is shared but in our case we had little to no contact with others. My kids loved the pool and had good time in it. Almost sure we stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lorna’s place. She is super friendly and made us feel at home!!! We were able to do things everyday and felt safe and secure! The only bad part was leaving! This is our second trip in 3 months first time was at a fancy hotel but we are so happy we decided to try real bajan living! We met so many people and cannot wait to come back!! Totally would recommend her place!!!

This homes location is perfect! The coastal highway lets you get to anywhere you need by car and easily accessible by bus. The most stunning beach is an easy walk. The home Itself is phenomenal. Luxury living island style. The hammock is divine, True carribean experience of the roosters who have a lot to say…the monkeys and track meets (track behind the house) led to the full experience! This house has EVERYTHING! Including a flat iron, umbrella, cooler bags… really anything you need. Hosts are very easy to communicate with! We would not hesitate to come back!!

As a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers we really enjoyed our stay at Lion Castle. The apartment is spacious and has great views from all sides especially the rear balcony where Polo horses graze and you can see the coast which means great sunsets. The estate is spacious a d well keptand the pool area is a beautiful setting. The pool was a great bonus for our kids. The driveway to the estate is majestic and you could never tire of the site of the palm trees that line it as you approach. Elizabeth was a great host and extremely helpful and attentive as were other family members also within the grounds. The location is peaceful and beautiful and ideal for exploring the whole island as it is centrally based. How was others have said you do need a hire car but I would recommend that for anyone visiting the island who really wants to explore its beautiful beaches and scenery wherever you stay. Overall we had a fantastic 2 weeks and would definitely recommend Lion Castle and host Elizabeth

A great place to stay with a wonderful community atmosphere. Karibu Gardens is it's own secluded piece of paradise within easy walk of the beaches, shops and market. Everyone made us feel very welcome. would definitely recommend it and if we ever go back to Barbados I would try to stay here again

The location was perfect the drive / walk to property has a beautiful view over looking the ocean. It’s probably best to drive as you get around quicker but if you love nature honestly you wont mind the walk. But I definitely enjoyed my stay would do it again.

AnnMarie’s son Rawle was so friendly and attentive to every request I had. He showed me a 5 minute shortcut to the beach, and the main road where the buses are. He offered to drive me to get groceries, and provided transportation to the airbnb and the airport. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts! The apartment was just as it appears in the pictures, clean and with everything I needed. Rawle even loaned me an umbrella when I lost mine. A bonus was the big TV in the air-conditioned bedroom, and having the use of a washer and dryer, including detergent. As a single woman, I felt safe and enjoyed experiencing life in a friendly, local neighbourhood.

A home away from home - 15 minute drive from the airport to a peaceful serene place with Oistins also only a 5 minute drive away. Playing dominos on the verander was my favourite evening spot and also in the sun when I wanted to sit and rest. House is as described with all necessary amenities included; cherry on top of the cake was the welcome sign for show when we entered and fans in each room!

We stayed at Daniel and Alicia's house for two weeks and enjoyed this secluded and spacious house a lot. Sitting on the patio surrounded by nature and listening to the crickets while sipping a rum punch was a daily highlight. Daniel and Alicia are wonderful hosts, easy going, communicative, responsive, and eager to fix any issues that came up, even gifted us fresh eggs. A ten minute drive with the car will bring you to beautiful Heywoods Beach or to the world oldest Rum Distillery, Mount Gay. Should we visit the island again we will stay here.
