Yellowwood was the perfect place to stay for my fishing vacation. The house was a very welcome site after driving in a car from Maine for 27 hours. The house was pristine, had a beautiful layout, and was set at the perfect temperature. We had access to the lake and all the surrounding canals, and all we had to do was walk out of the Florida room and onto our boat. There are plenty of stores a short distance away and the neighbors were very nice. But the best part was Renae was able to take us in a day early due to a change in our plans, so we stayed an extra day. She is courteous and accommodating and made the whole experience very easy. Thank you Renae and I hope to visit again sometime soon.

Perfect lakefront location for our long weekend getaway! The home has it’s own boat ramp which makes for easy launching and lake access. Additionally, the ramp is concreted and the water is deep enough that there were no concerns with launching a heavy bass boat. The home itself was well stocked and had any supplies we needed during our stay. Clean, well taken care of and cared for. We felt very comfortable during our stay and will definitely plan to visit again in the future. Also close to the lock if you wish to go out into the main lake as well, though we tend to be quite comfortable on the canal side. We caught plenty of bass and even one over 8lbs! 😊

Let me just say Dave (Sues dad) is AWESOME!!! 👏 Super cool, down to earth, and really friendly. He’s respectful, and private. He always texts or calls before he comes over. This place is amazing!! 🤩 A lot of memories made, and a lot of laughs!! ❤️ Would 100% stay here again!! There’s a pond, there’s chickens, it’s just so homey. Plenty of stuff to do, and let’s not forget the pool!!! It’s amazing! Heated, quiet, and so many beautiful solar lights to look at! The art on the walls is absolutely gorgeous. Dave, and Sue are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and I’m from chobee!! 💜 I can’t say enough good things about them!! They’re the kinda people you would keep in touch with, because they’re so chill!! So, if you’re ever in the area, stay here! You’ll have plenty of space, privacy, hot water, tvs, even right down to comfy pillows! 🤣 Nice big, huge walk in closet!! Huge kitchen, you can even cook outside on the screened in porch, or order food! Just simply Amazing. 🥲 Thank Yo

I have stayed here for a family get together multiple times now and it has been a great experience both times. There is plenty of room for everyone to be together or for everyone to be in their own spaces. Between the (beautiful) fire pit, trampoline, pool table, hot tub, farm animals, pavilion island, or walking around way out back where the livestock are, there was plenty for everyone to be entertained.
