We had a great long weekend stay! Beautiful place - very well decorated and we loved the hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and the location (right across from a playground) was perfect for our three young children. The open floor plan made it easy to keep an eye on everyone. The host was very communicative and flexible. I’d highly recommend this spot!

We had a great stay at Billy Goat Retreat! Jill and LJ are great hosts. Very responsive and made sure everything was going well for us. We enjoyed the fresh eggs everyday, visiting the goats and relaxing hot tub. The cabin is extraordinary and we hope to return someday. You won't be disappointed here, just book it.

This is my second stay at Curt’s. I was in town for work and spent my days in Nashville but this was the perfect sanctuary to come back and get away from the hustle and bustle. Burgess Falls was a quick drive just over 30 minutes. I had done this hike previously but it was BEAUTIFUL in the snow which we received. There are several other hikes driveable from the cabin! Pros: hot tub! In nature, waking up with views and the birds chirping. Tips/Info: the neighbors dog did come down to say hello where if you have a pet that is reactive to other dogs this may not be the best spot, beds look over the living room area where there is not a bedroom and the stairs to get to the bedroom are steep. Overall: this is one of my favorite stays! Curt and Kate are responsive and helpful to ensure a great stay. The cabin is cozy and perfect for an unplug for work, a romantic get away or a boys trip where a trip to the city may be in the cards. Will return. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time! The inside of the home is stylish and pristine with a lot of cute personal touches, and the outdoor living space and fire pit are perfect and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook (not to mention the awesome blackstone grill). It’s not quite as secluded as we usually prefer, but whether it was by the fire at sunset or during the day lounging in the hot tub—we still felt cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Austin’s cabin was amazing! We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday! We would definitely recommend this cabin!!

Thank you for an amazing getaway! Brad was so friendly, quick to respond, & helpful with recommendations on food/activities in & around the area. The house exceeded our expectations - so clean, cozy, & comfortable for our family of 4! We enjoyed the hot tub, making s’mores by the fire, our kiddos (5 & 8) loved playing outside in the big yard under the magical cafe lights while we relaxed on the huge wraparound porch! Every detail of the house was incredible, Brad really took the time to put together the decor - we had so much fun looking at each sign & all the cute cabin treasures around the house it really made us feel far away from the Nash burbs which is what we wanted for a quick weekend trip! Foglight & Rock Island Market were great for dinner / breakfast - we hiked Fall Creek Falls (30-40min drive) but Rock Island State park is a 2 min drive away if you want to stay close (we had just been otherwise we’d have done both!). Thanks again can’t wait to come back!!

This place is awesome. My only wish was we had more time here. In town for a HS baseball tournament and the team was staying at a house near by. Late check in early check out. Its rustic, but clean and has everytrhing you need. Cool decorations, and some neat history and quotes on the walls. Shower and bathroom were great, kitchen has what you need, including a little coffee bar. Stuart suggested returning with some more time to just sit on the front porch and listen. Thats great advice. I really hope to do that soon. If you are traveling to Nashville or surrounding areas that are busy, do yourself a favor and plan a few nights here and relax a little.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

Spectacular experience after our 12 hrs drive up from FL. Cabin remodeled new appliances clean cozy fun with musical things for the children. Marty and Grace shared their love for all these precious animals family members❤️ Our children learned so much from their generous time they took to show us around. Very blessed space soaked in peace and lively creatures nature. I would stay here over the luxury high rise hotel in Chicago!!! Surround yourself in this natural refreshing woods and you will feel indeed restored!!!

The owls nest was an absolutely perfect spot for our family getaway! The home feels instantly cozy and clean, was well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen. The view from both porches is beautiful and relaxing, our 6 year old especially loved the hammock on the lower porch. The whole cabin is filled with charm and a personal touch that made us feel instantly at home. The 1.5 mile hike up to the top of the hill was also a perfect adventure for all. We loved walking up the creek and around the lake. We hope to visit again and stay longer next time.

Beautiful cabin! Even better than the pictures (and the pictures are great). Very spacious, very clean. The beds were super comfortable, we all slept great. Living room was very cozy, kitchen was open and easy to cook in, bathroom was spotless and had lots of supplies. The cabin is right on a main road, so easy to get in and out of. And I was so thankful my dog could be with me. Would’ve been perfect if the yard was completely fenced in, but that’s no big deal. Great place, great price. Definitely would come back!

I booked this for my husband and his friends. They said the place was perfect, everything they needed. They loved the property, and the tee box was great fun!

We enjoyed a relaxing getaway at The Little Lakehouse. It was clean and well stocked. We loved all of the windows, the beautiful deck, and the fire pit. It was so peaceful. Jeff and Jill were quick to respond to any questions.

Lisa and Mack are GREAT hosts! Their place is just as described (only better in person). Check-in was smooth and Mack explained everything upon arrival. This place is peaceful and relaxing. The Horses and donk are the sweetest. Everything you could possibly need is within a short driving distance. If I could leave more stars, I would. I can’t wait to book again! Thanks Mack and Lisa!

It was great. My wife and I enjoyed the bed so much that we would like to know that make and model.

This was a wonderful place for a quick getaway. It is right across the street from Arrington Vineyards. Beautiful setting. The cabin is rustic but has all the amenities. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. We utilized the firepit on 2 of our nights. It sits right on the creek bank and is below road level so it is private. We had a possum visit us on both nights. LOL. It is very close to downtown Franklin and also Nolensville. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was spectacular! The cabin is immaculate, clean, beautiful, all of the positive descriptors. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. My son got sick before the beginning of our trip, and they prayed for him and kept communicating with us through the entire process. It was great! We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area for softball, or even just a vacation. Everything was perfect, and anyone would be lucky to stay in this beautiful cabin with the best hosts. We had a wonderful experience at this cabin during our Thanksgiving holiday! The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything our family needed to feel right at home. Tammi went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even checking in with us to make sure everything was perfect. She also treated us to some delicious goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch! The space itself was lovely—charming decor, cozy atmosphere, and all the resort-like amenities made our stay feel extra special. The property was peaceful and serene, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway. We truly felt spoiled and appreciated every moment of our stay. We can't wait to return to the area and would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay!

If you are needing a peaceful retreat to get away from the business of life, this is the place for you! My family and I loved our time at this adorable cabin! It had everything we needed and had us feeling right at home. My girls enjoyed playing in the spacious yard. John was very kind and always responded quickly to any questions I had.

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!
