Erica's house is adorable, and Erica herself is a lovely and gentil host. The house it's in a very quiet neighborhood, where you can watch birds, and see the neighborhood cats walking around curious, there are a lot of trails around, however weather wanted us cozy inside, enjoying the fireplace/heater. The jacuzzi is superb and we didn't have any trouble setting up for use. We also had a lot of clean towels available, and the heated blanket was the cherry on top. Me as "I need at least two mugs of coffee a day" person, I would recommend to bring grinded coffee or Delta Q capsules. We didn't have any trouble checking in or out, and Erica was flexible with those. I plan on coming back for sure, as either a romantic weekend, or a friends get together on her other property. Thank you again Erica for your hospitality. :D

Ça mérite 6 étoiles ! Paulo et Susana sont des hôtes formidables, très gentils et bienveillants, ils sont toujours disponible pour vous aider et vous guider dans la région qui est magnifique. La maison est géniale, le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels, la vue incroyable. Vous êtes au calme et dans un cadre naturel splendide pour passer des vacances reposantes et vous ressourcer. Foi um final de semana maravilhoso. Mesmo a vizinhança foi muito acolhedora. Obrigado ao Sr. Manuel pela prova do seu vinho e dos enchidos. Lenha pronta para aquecimento da casa, espaços grandes como a sala que tanto deu para refeições como para as brincadeiras com as crianças ou conversas com os adultos. Decoração super criativa que nos faz sentir em casa. Flexibilidade no check-in e check-out adicionou mais momentos inesquecíveis na casa. Queremos regressar.

Excellent week spent at a very quiet and quint little house. Amazing service with breakfast delivered each day. Fantastic walks around the area with home grown veg and fruit plentyful. I Would recommend a stay here for peace and quiet.

Top plek om te kamperen, genoeg privé ruimte in de groene vallei om een tentje neer te zetten. Mogelijkheid om bij een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet aan te schuiven, waarbij Liedewij rekening houdt met onze dieetwensen. Ook het avondeten was gul en zeer smakelijk. Onze hond heeft daar lekker rond kunnen rennen en was van harte welkom.

O anfitreao era extremamente simpático, muito disponível e atencioso. De realçar que o Sr Jorge e a esposa nos deram muitas indicações de lugares a visitar nos arredores, bem como de sítios para usufruir da gastronomia local. A casa em si esta inserida numa aldeia muito sossegada, o que nos permitiu descansar e usufruir de momentos de paz, lazer e tranquilidade. As pessoas que vivem na regiao também se mostraram muito simpáticas, prestáveis e acolhedoras.

The house and property were absolutely perfect! Even more beautiful than the pictures, the home is nestled in nature, offering both comfort and serenity. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were outstanding—welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless. I’ll definitely be back—thank you so much!

Our thanks to the wonderful hosts Alice & Christian This cosy and charming house is located in the Beira Baixa region, nestled in the hills of rural Portugal. All amenities were faultless and immaculate enabling us to enjoy our stay here very much. Whilst the area is lesser known for tourism it offers a glimpse of the tranquility that pervades life here. The surrounding villages and exploration offer a lot to enjoy if you appreciate nature, a relaxed pace of life and space. The house is also close to the beautiful Rio Zêzere. Recommend this property, place and hosts.

La casa de Francisco es una maravilla: amplia y fresca incluso en agosto, con la piscina delante que es fantástica, y en una finca enorme y fascinante, con miles de cosas que hacer y ver, hasta kayak en el lago que se ha formado en una antigua cantera, o un espacio de arte increíble. Francisco es encantador ( como también su mujer a la que conocí también), amable, disponible y además una persona muy interesante con un proyecto inspirador. La recomiendo a todos!

Même si nous n’espérions pas nous baigner en mars, nous espérions un peu plus de soleil 😅 Notre semaine aura été rythmée par la pluie et les tempêtes mais… Brendan, Michèle et Rosie ont veillé à notre bien être! 🥰 Du bois pour les foyers du logement, des produits frais (pain, vin, confitures, produits laitiers,…) nous attendaient à notre arrivée et nous avons reçu de nombreux conseils de choses à voir et faire. Il est aussi important de souligner que nos hôtes tiennent compte des remarques qu’ils ont pu recevoir par le passé et nous avons conscience d’avoir pu profiter de nouvelles adaptations: une chaufferette de lit, un chauffe serviette dans la salle de bain! (Bienvenus dans ces logements plus habitués à la chaleur et au soleil qu’aux froides nuits d’automne 😊) La chaleur de l’accueil a plus que clairement pallié à la météo maussade donc merci à tous pour ça !! Nous espérons un jour reposer nos valises au cottage et profiter pleinement des extérieurs et de ce havre de paix 🤗

Eugene was an amazing host, having helped my family get to the accomodation without any problems and always being in touch whenever it was needed and the language barrier wasn't ever an issue as Eugene was able to understand portuguese. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to meet such a great human being that made sure to ask how I was to my family, but I can assure that if the opportunity presents itself I wouldn't hesitate to book again and meet him. From my family's description I could say the house is bigger than it looks on the photos, being a great space for some peace and quiet rural family vacations! I reccommend Eugene's listing as a great option if you are looking for a cheap, quiet and family-oriented house.

Foi um verdadeiro prazer poder descobrir este espaço. A Veni e o seu marido foram super disponíveis e amigáveis, deixando-nos recomendações locais e super à vontade durante toda a estadia. O espaço é incrível, muito bem localizado e fácil de encontrar, e espero poder ter a oportunidade de voltar para uma estadia mais larga, que nos permita explorar ainda mais a propriedade. Para desconectar, é o sítio perfeito!

I could not recommended more this place in warmer seasons! A beautiful house, with a breathtaking view, amazing garden and well equipped kitchen. The surroundings, amazing too, very quiet and beautiful. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly and responsive. However, the heating, even with a fire place, was not effective and the house was very cold, specially in the bedrooms. If the heating is not improved, I will not go back in winter. But in Spring-Summer, this is a place to go!

We only stayed at Pedro's for a long weekend, but we would have loved to stay longer. The little house is very comfortable, and the shared area was amazing for our toddler - she was obsessed with the donkeys. All the recommendations were really great - try the Restaurante at Loucainha if you can!
