The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

With open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchen and wood fire, the house is fantastic for a special time away with family or friends. All rooms have views across fields, vineyards and mountains, with the huge covered verandah providing the best vantage point only occasionally obstructed by wandering kangaroos, wombats, foxes, and the local cows.

The family will love this great space with lots of room to enjoy each other’s company. You can kick back and relax . Close to shops, Erina Fair 10 mins , Avoca 10 mins and Terrigal 15mins . The waterfront is a close walk. Kantara Chapel is just around the corner, close venue for bridal group/family. Bring the boat to fish the Brisbane waters or take in many board walks and national parks in the area. We are onsite sometimes during the year in granny flat dependent on season and our travels.

Equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave and full size fridge. There's a BBQ on your own outdoor balcony, where you can enjoy the glorious view of the sun setting over the vineyard. Take in incredible valley vistas all whilst relaxing on the balcony, and look out for our wombats, wallabies, lyre birds, and bush turkeys. Sometimes we have cows in our paddocks. Spot wild deer and platypus in our creek. Sit around our fire pit and watch the sky come alive with stars at night. Bliss!
