A truly wonderful place to stay! The host is incredibly honest — because once you arrive, you’ll see that the real room is 100 times more beautiful than the photos. It’s very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need.

We had an awesome stay. Perfectly convenient location, apartment size, and with a supermarket within walking distance. The apartment was clean and modern. Ken is a great host, gave clear instructions and is very responsive

Parking good, just a brief walk to lake, shops and restaurants. Apartment was very quiet and just lovely and relaxed to come back too. There was only one thing we had a problem with although not insurmountable was the fob entry into apartments with having only one and 5 people going off in diffirent directions each day we had to do some planning for entry into the complex, I think possibley there was an intercom system but we did not look into that as only 3 days stay and very busy time for us all. But would definitely stay again.

Pamela was absolutely lovely, and her house was immaculate, comfortable, and in a beautiful position overlooking the marina. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well equipped and immaculate, and the garden was an absolute joy for sitting in. We would highly recommend Pamela’s house; it is easily the loveliest of all the places we have stayed on our trip to NZ.

We thought the apartment was lovely, clean, fresh and modern. We were lucky enough to meet Jo and she is absolutely delightful Highly recommend

Neville’s place was simply wonderful! Peaceful and quiet with a view of the lake. Although the unit was underneath the main residence, we hardly heard a noise from above. The space is incredibly clean and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery, tea, coffee, large electric frypan, cooktop, fridge. The bathroom is sparkly clean. The main bedroom is a good size with drawers, and space for suitcases. The stand outs for me, besides the large clean bathroom, were the super comfy bed, and the cute red tea cups and saucers. So many sizes to choose from! It’s also just a short drive into the town centre. You won’t regret staying here. Just book it. :)

Lovely place. Newly renovated. The restaurant next door has re-opened with great food. There are laundry facilities onsite but please note you need coins. A $2 coin for dryer and a $1 and $2 coin for washer.

I stayed here for Ironman New Zealand and it was everything I needed and more! Amazing place with very modern furnishings and space. Big backyard with only a 6 minute drive to town centre. Very quiet little neighbourhood with a Woolworth’s supermarket only a 10-15 minute walk or 4 minute drive. Fantastic place.

the house was impeccable, we loved the extra touches like milk in the fridge, snacks and chocolates on our bed. Great stay, we will definitely book again!

Greta’s place looks even better than her photo, the accommodation is compact yet stylish and functional- perfect for my family of 5. There were also board games to keep my kids entertained, plus books and leaflets. The toilet is clean and the heater is good. Will recommend a quiet stay just 8 mins drive from the city Center. Greta is also very responsive and helpful.

Spacious and clean. Good to have a washing machine after hiking.

Great place to stay in Turangi, easy walk to supermarket and restaurants. So nice to have a fully fenced section for the dog, lots of room

We loved staying at Mere Cottage. The location was an easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants as well as an easy stroll to Lake Taupō. There was a wee bit of road noise but not unbearable. There was cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for the wine glasses they are in the cabinet under the TV! We found them on the second night. Loved it would definitely stay again 😀

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Caroline's gorgeous property - it’s even more stunning in person than in the photos! The cottage is beautifully designed and incredibly well-stocked, especially the kitchen and bathroom. There were so many towels and the thoughtful little touches truly made a big difference. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we highly recommend this place. I especially loved relaxing outside with a cup of tea. Caro was super helpful and responsive throughout. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable! :)
