Anna, the host, was very proactive and helpful. The property was just as described on the advert and was a short walk to the shops. Really enjoyed our stay there and the outside seating was lovely for day time shade and night time as it had good lighting.

What lovely people Jude and Tony are! We rarely had hosts who are so involved. Nice advice, good tips. Jude even drove me to the drugstore when my husband got sick, and went shopping with me for souvenirs in her favorite shop! The accommodation is half an hour from downtown by bus, 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and a bedroom where it is super quiet and you sleep wonderfully in the big Auckland.

We had a lovely stay in Helen and Peter's beautiful home - with amazing art everywhere. Furniture and beds very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. The outside space was super and wonderful for relaxing in the evening after a day exploring Auckland. Ponsonby area is very walkable for coffee and shops. The CBD is manageable but a little further away. We would highly recommend Helen and her lovely home!

We loved staying at this house! Sarah and Ryan are both very responsive and friendly. Check in was a breeze and the house was sparkling clean. We loved cooking in the kitchen and unwinding with a bottle of wine in the backyard. Very walkable- 2 mins on foot to the nearest cafe. Very close to fabulous bars and restaurants, too. My husband, toddler and I loved the whole experience and will stay again!

A beautiful house in a very convenient location. Large rooms with lots of space and privacy. Close to the city (walking distance), with plenty of cafes/restaurants/supermarket (The New World is of higher than normal standard - gourmet) nearby. A good place to be based to enjoy the best of the city.

What a fantastic little place to call home during our 6-day stay in Auckland. The location was absolutely perfect, very picturesque neighbourhood, very peaceful and oh so close to Orakei basin, which we walked around every morning during our stay. The cottage had a great layout, so at any one time, everyone in our group could either have their own space or we had choices where we could all gather. We were spoilt for choice for cafes, as there were 4 to 5 nice cafes within 5-20mins walking distance or 2-8mins driving. We were so pleased to have a pool and a large deck to enjoy the afternoon sun. We have no hesitation in recommending this as a great placeto stay whilst in Auckland.

A great place to stay when with a large group. After reading the reviews we were worried about the noise and having a large group but it was fine. Would stay again.

Extremely beautiful place. We were wowed by the views when we got to the apartment. The apartment itself is perfect for returning to after a day out to chill and watch the sun go down in the hot tub. We will definitely be back.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. All in all, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. It's definitely worth the price, and I would happily return in the future. We stayed just one night for a Saturday wedding. The accommodation was perfect and had good room for 3 of us. The amenities were clean and modern and the view was breath taking. it's 10 minutes drive from the main spots of Oneroa & Ostend. The communication was great and the instructions clear and concise. I definitely recommend this property.

Janine is a 'fully present', warm, unfussy - yet fully responsive - Host. There is a genuine relaxed nature about the home environment to which I felt completely welcomed to engage. The perpetual offer of tea, along with a friendly chat (if desired), was on-call at every turn - yet with zero-pressure to engage. It was one of those Airbnb experiences that strikes the perfect balance of being made to feel fully 'at home', while afforded the breezy, desired knowledge of being able to come and go as one pleases (without fear of disturbing anyone else). I will surely request staying again when back in Auckland (if Janine will have me). [Oh yes, there's also the charmingly elusive Rocky-the-cat, who will not be the least interested in your existence during your stay, (which I took as a direct challenge, and did manage to earn the occasional petting privilege). Being said, if cats are not your thing - not to worry, as Rocky will reflect your indifference with mathematical exactness!] 5 stars!

Amazing view, the only recommendation is to get a car if you don’t like the hills to walk to the villa other than that, it was amazing and the hot tub was awesome

We're a group of five (3 adults, 2 kids (4 and 6 years)) and stayed at TJ's place for two weeks. We booked this house due to it's proximity to Ponsonby road, because we like to have cool things within walking distance: lots of restaurants, shops and parks with playgrounds (Grey Lynn Park is our absolute favorite). And of course the heated pool was also a big bonus for booking this place as it kept the young ones entertained :) TJ was very communicative and was always there for us, when we needed her. She put a lot of love into her house. Wifi was fast and stable. It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay here.

Everything about our stay and this location was so perfect. This was definitely a memorable weekend entirely because of the Villa, the service we received, and the location. The Waiheke Resort was beautiful, there were amazing views and food at the restaurant. And after a full day out of activities and a wine tour, we were tired and able to just come back to the Villa and relax with a quiet BBQ. This is really a stunning Villa. My partner and I visited Waiheke Island for the first time and we got everything we wanted out of it and we want to come back. Thank you! 🏝️🩷
