We really enjoyed our stay at Kaye's. The apartment is in a very quiet neighbourhood, which suited us perfectly as we staying in Auckland for a sporting event and needed a quiet space to rest up each evening. We had everything we needed and were surprised how large the apartment is, it looks smaller in the photo's. The extra bed meant that my daughter and I didn't have to share a room. Would happily recommend Kaye's place and definitely stay there again if the need arose.

Well what a view welcomed us as we entered Jos fab place!!! 🤩 We had such a great time. Clean and comfy especially the bed… we slept so well. Absolutely loved watching the bird life from the windows… so many Kingfishers!! The walk way to the beach was really great and such a lovely place to stroll at anytime of the day. Jo was so helpful and friendly yet left us to it giving us our privacy. Everything was great and we have already recommended it to others! 👍

Located close to beaches, forests, and wineries this is an ideal accommodation with very congenial hosts. The unit is immaculately clean and fresh looking and makes the most of a small space for breakfast prep. Honestly, she’s thought of almost everything you could need. Lauren provided info on nearby hiking and stores and restaurants when I had specific interests. We even shared a walk with her dog Molly one morning to nearby beaches I had yet to visit. There are lots of hills around, even the driveway is quite steep, so best to have a car if you’re not reasonably fit and don’t enjoy that type of exercise. Coming home at night, it’s quite dark near the house, but she provides a flashlight or you could use your mobile flashlight.. Overall, a wonderful stay, lots of fresh air, exercise, beautiful nature, peaceful environment in a very comfortable apartment. Thank you Lauren. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again..

The place is comfy, tidy, and easy to find. It is an awesome Airbnb, but there aren't any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, so it's more suitable for guests who have a car. The place is a bit smaller than I expected; however, it would be a great place to stay in Auckland. Loretta is very responsive to my enquiries too.

Jho & Evan’s place was fantastic! The home is very spacious, very clean, provides all the amenities that you need and is only a minute from the most beautiful beaches! I wish I was back in the area again, so I could book this property for another stay! Fantastic communication with the hosts as well! Could not have asked for more. Thank you guys!

We had a great comfortable two night stay at Tracy's place. It is very handy to Howick village and New World supermarket. It was great to have a carport and private outdoor area and entrance.

very polite, introduced himself when we arrived, even allowed us to check in early which was so good. said if we needed anything to msg, beds extremely comfortable, was pleasantly suprised. nice quiet neighborhood. two storied place, he lives upstairs, never heard him once. would absolutely stay again, no problems at all. 5 stars, and a great price!!

Thank you for great stay! Ali's place is cozy and peaceful, and there is much more to it than what is listed on AirBnB. Ali is a friendly and responsive host, and was very helpful in providing recommendations for local coffee shops and cafes when I asked about it. Furthermore, Ali was very generous in allowing early check-in and late check-out based on what I needed. There are beautiful beaches nearby to visit, with some cafes and restaurants overlooking the ocean. Definitely consider booking Ali's place when you are looking for peaceful stay in East Auckland.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time staying here! We arrived in waiheke around 2 pm and veronika was flexible with allowing us to check in an hour early! She met us (along with her adorable dog kiwi) as we walked up the driveway and helped us inside. She gave us a tour and gave us some good recommendations for dinner and walking trails in the area. The suite itself is lovely. Temperature control works great, the view was wonderful, and oneroa village and the beach is just a few minutes walk away! The bedroom and living room were very clean and I loved learning about the water collection initiatives on wiaheke! At the end of our stay our taxi driver was late to pick us up for our return ferry and Veronika offered to drive us there herself!! Absolutely exceptionally and above and beyond hospitality. I would book here again immediately and you all should too!!!

Lovely modern, fresh and clean accommodation. Karen was very friendly and helpful and booked a local restaurant for us too. In a suburban area so you would need a car but walking distance to a restaurant. Just 10 minutes drive from the Howick Historical Village which is a great spot to spend a couple of hours.

A little hidden gem! The hosts are simply beautiful who are super friendly, helpful and attentive. The apartment is mordern, accessible and a wonderful place to stay!

The perfect getaway to relax & unwind. I spent every moment I could taking in the view... it's paradise! The accommodations lack nothing & are very comfortable complete with hot tub. The owners live next door & are lovely. Highly recommend for any little getaway!

Peter’s AirBNB is gorgeous and well stocked. He was friendly, responsive, and on premise much of our stay (which is a private section of his home), but also great about giving us privacy. We especially enjoyed the pool and charming garden spaces - as well as the breakfast food and tea/coffee provided. A few notes that weren’t fully clear to me before arriving: >Washer is on site but generally not for guest use (though we got the OK to do a couple loads when we asked) > There is no living room or indoor common area of the Airbnb space. > There are gorgeous outdoor spaces with shade covering to enjoy for meals at home - but only bedroom/hallway space available indoors for “hang out space” > The Rotary walk area is easily accessible from this space - and the views are even better than the pictures :)

it's a beautiful apartment on the hill where I could see the ocean and the blue sky from my bedroom every morning. The bathroom is clean and the kitchen, living room are spacious. If you have a car is perfect to drive uphill. Otherwise, it's very steep to walk up every day!

Absolutely five stars for Christina’s Tradewinds studio on Waiheke Island! If you’re looking to truly disconnect and unwind, this is the spot. Tucked away in a peaceful and secluded area, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. The studio is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. I loved how quiet and calm it was—ideal for reading, resting, and recharging. The location is a dream: about 2.5 miles from town, and right near beautiful walking trails that wind through vineyards and offer stunning views of the hills and the water. No air conditioning, but I slept comfortably with the door cracked and the shades down—fresh island air and total serenity. Highly recommend if you’re craving peace, nature, and a slower pace. I can’t wait to return.

Part of the Waiheke Island resort development and a lot cheaper to stay (some apartments are owned by the hotel and some privately). Great views of the bay, the beach is a short walk down the hill and you can catch a bus up. No car needed although it does make life easier
