We had a lovely family stay. The whales were out in full glory very lucky to see them. The house had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. Petro was so friendly and helpful and attentive to all our needs. we had a small problem with electricity and she went out of her way to resolve it timeously and without any interruption to our stay. beautiful place and lovely and clean. wonderful pool and garden for the kids. a definite must visit for families.

The perfect getaway for family or friends! The house looked exactly like the photos and had all the necessary amenities. It was spotless, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location is great, with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, it’s just a short drive to the beach and excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive, and the information pack was so helpful. Lovely home with excellent location close to the cliff path, Grotto Beach and Dutchies. Kitchen is very well equipped and caters to a lovely relaxed atmosphere and vibe. We had a great time however struggled with the sun in the mornings in the bedrooms with thin/shear curtains waking us up much earlier than we would’ve liked.

We were blown away by this place! It exceeded all our expectations—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully spacious. The location was perfect, putting us right in the heart of everything we wanted to explore. It had every amenity we could dream of and then some. As I checked out, I found myself eagerly scrolling through my calendar, already planning our next family getaway! We truly loved our stay!

Love that there’s two separate areas. The way the house is spilt worked great for us. Would love to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Karin’s place. Hermanus is a great spot for a short break with lots to do. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with access to lovely gardens with a view of the ocean.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Hermanus for 3 nights and if we could we would have spent more time there! We loved Wiums place and it was even more beautiful than we expected!! The kitchen was fully equipped, even with some coffee capsules and sooo delicious Rusks!! It was a treat every morning!! And of course we have to mention the big balcony which is bigger than you think! We had great breakfasts there. Wium was an awesome host! So friendly, very fast in responding and he gave us so many nice recommendations for the neighborhood. We are very thankful for our time in Wiums place and definitely would come back, if we get the chance!

Our time was wonderful: the hosts were very helpful, the apartment is by far the nicest airbnb we've had so far. The only thing to note is that you hardly get to have breakfast on the wonderful terrace as you are constantly distracted by whales and dolphins in the sea, which you can watch from the terrace :)Many thanks for a wonderful time!

My friend and I attended a line dance event in Gansbaai so we did not have much time to spend at the apartment itself. However it was a lovely place to stay and super surroundings. I will definitely book the apartment again for a break away stay in the near future. We felt very safe, the apartment was super clean and very comfortable. There was a problem with the WC Accentrix system in getting into the building as the code did not work but it was sorted immediately by L and very helpful indeed and followed up to make sure we were sorted. The only problem we had was the lift was out of order and we had to lug our luggage and gear up to the third floor a few times. Certainly got a good workout. We also must mention that this problem was not something our host could forsee and it was just one of those things that happen and not something they can control. I can highly recommend L's place and thank you for a lovely stay.

Heerlijk appartement met werkelijk fantastisch uitzicht over zee. Alles in het appartement functioneerde naar behoren, dus hebben we Lettie tijdens ons verblijf niet benaderd. Bij aankomst was Lettie persoonlijk aanwezig om ons de sleutels te overhandigen en om het een en ander over het appartement uit te leggen. Bij vertrek was Lettie weer aanwezig om de sleutels in ontvangst te nemen. Lettie is overigens een ontzettend vriendelijke vrouw en reageerde heel snel op vragen.

Wir waren insgesamt 12 Tage bei Charlene zu Gast. Wir konnten früher einchecken was sehr angenehm war. Beim Check-In wurden wir gleich herzlich von Charlene begrüßt. Sie hat uns kurz alles gezeigt und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Man hört immer die Wellen vom mehr und kann schön draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen. Die Privatsphäre wurde sehr gewahrt. Man hat nicht gemerkt das die Gastgeber auf dem selben Grundstück leben. Wir haben nach der Hälfte der Zeit eine Reinigung bekommen mit frischen Handtüchern. Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und haben uns auch bei einem kleinen medizinischen Notfall direkt geholfen. Die Gegend ist wirklich sehr sicher. Wir haben uns nie unwohl gefühlt. Nicht weit in Hermanus hat man alles man braucht an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für Weinliebhaber ist es auch sehr angenehm mit den Weinhoppers oder auch einem Shuttle kann man die nahegelegenen Weingüter besuchen und genießen.

Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft in Hermanus, einem wundervollen und pittoresken Städtchen, das so viel zu bieten hat. Würde die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, insbesondere bei dem herzlichen Empfang der zahlreichen und sehr süßen Vierbeiner.

Like other guests said : the view is amazing ! We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful place, large living room and kitchen with all you need, comfortable bed in the bed room. Large window in the living room so you can enjoy the view and the sea breeze. Like a beach bungalow actually. From here you can walk to the beach, you are also close to everything (with a car) , crystal pools trail, betty's bay pingouins, ... The place is safe and quiet and you get a car parking space just in front of the appartment. Wieneke is a very kind person, she will make you comfortable and give you privacy. Thank you !

Wish we could have stayed forever! We loved this Airbnb, it may be the best ever stayed in! The house and location are stunning. The host was welcoming and helpful. There were many useful extras like clothes and dish washing pods and soaps in the bathroom. Very useful after a long journey. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed 3 nights (2 adults, 1 2-year old) and had a great time. our daughter loved running around in the garden, collecting acorns. since the property is surrounded by a wall and the pool is separated by a gate that she could not open, it was perfect for her explore the garden safely. we also really enjoyed the breakfast served on our little terrace. the cliff path is close and it's about 20-30 minutes by foot into "hermanus downtown". the county market is about 10 minutes walk. Suzanne and her staff were absolutely lovely! although the property, the Appartment is in is at the main street, it was not too loud as the apartment is further back. in the morning, we did close the windows facing towards the grocery store parking lot but then it was also fine.
