We booked Gary's place as a group of 11 and had a great time. Gary was extremely responsive and answered my messages within an hour of them being sent if not sooner. On our final evening, there was a big snow dump and Gary arranged to have the driveway cleared so that we were easily able to get out. Very very minimal spaces for improvement: The games room is in the garage so it is very cold. Perhaps not the best place to hang out in the dead of winter but I imagine on warmer days it's awesome. Also there were a couple of cobwebs around the house (in one of the kitchen light fixtures and another in the basement office area) however nothing that we couldn't grab a paper towel and clean away ourselves. I recommend this spot and would love to return in the summer so that we can enjoy the pool and games room. Thanks for a great stay Gary! We'll be back!

What a beautiful home! We had a great weekend celebrating Christmas with 16 of our family members and really appreciated the large and spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms. We brought an air mattress for 1 couple to sleep on so they wouldn’t have to sleep in the living room, and it could have easily fit in any 4 of the 6 bedrooms. There wasn’t enough seats in the living and dining room for everyone, but we made due for the couple days we were there (in the summer I suppose you could use the outdoor furniture too). If you have a large group you may want to also bring a couple extra towels for the hotub and floor to hot tub as we had only one per person. Lola was quick to respond to our many questions. We booked Heron Lodge for a birthday weekend and it did not disappoint! The lodge is beautiful and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was very clean and incredibly well organized. The bedrooms were all very nicely appointed and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds and linens were. Lots of activities inside to keep everyone entertained with great large spaces to gather as well as lots of little areas to read, relax and catch up with friends. Kendra was amazing to deal with, always very responsive both leading up to and during our stay. Heron Lodge was the perfect setting for a family or friend’s getaway and we hope to visit again. Thanks for a wonderful birthday weekend Kendra!

I had an amazing stay at Radu's property! The place was beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which was the perfect way to relax. Radu was a fantastic host, super responsive and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

We struggled to find a place for our group of 17 and Stonehaven was an amazing find! The beds were comfortable, we loved being able to have meals all together in one spot, and there was lots of space for people to do different activities inside since it was winter. Outside, we enjoyed tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the property. Steve was quick to communicate and provided clear instructions and maps. We were already talking about going back so we can enjoy the property in the summer! Thank you for a memorable and fun weekend!

Very spacious house with a bathroom on every floor. All areas of the house were nice and clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with cutlery and cooking equipment. Perfectly located between Kanata and downtown Ottawa, where the highway was just minutes away from the house to get to either location and in a very safe, quiet neighbourhood.

This farmhouse is absolutely beautiful ! Bill (property manager) was conveniently on site when one of the couples from our group arrived and went through everything and answered any questions we had. Located right off the OFSC trails, close to the scenic ice caves, and with use of heated garage for snowmobiles made our weekend very relaxing after a day of riding the local trails. Our group of 8 had tons of space to relax and unwind. I couldn't imagine staying at this property in the summer and not being able to find something to do.

We were a group of 15 adults and 7 children. We had an incredible time at this spot and had plenty of room staying inside due to the craziest snow storm. Very clean and had everything needed for an incredible stay. Would love to bring our family back sometime.

Brandee is a great host and the listing is exactly like the place that was rented. Actually, the place is even nicer, with amazing and private views. I would recommend this chalet to anyone wanting a little relaxing outing in the forest

Brendan's place is a great spot for a large group with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and seating areas. The furnished basement with games and sauna is very fun, and the main living area is comfortable with lots of seating. The kitchen is well equipped. There was a lot of snow when we were there so we didn't spend time outside but the back area looks quite private. Communication was clear and quick and Brendan was very helpful. It was ideal for a ski trip with a few families, and to enjoy the restaurants and shops in the village.

This house is simply awesome. From the moment you get in you feel how cozy and wam this place is. The spaces are beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend with friends. The bedrooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. A short walk will take you to a park near by with amazing views of the lake. A must! Downtown and main restaurants/shops area is 5 minutes away by car. Grace and Travis were amazing hosts. They were kind and attentive, and took care of all our needs. Definitely a place to come back!

The weekend was phenomenal, the amenities were fantastic and well-managed. The only downsides were that it was fairly apparent that the local bylaws greatly impacted the place with some unreasonable asks. For example, they required every tenant's name, age, phone, email and home address. Per the Short-Term Rental bylaw, only the number of tenants and adults for the Short-Term Rental are required. Outside of these couple of inconveniences, we had a great time and would definitely be back.

I dad a wonderful stay with my family at Sophia's house! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was very kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive, making sure everything was perfect. Great location and a comfortable space. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! This is our third time staying at Alex’s place, we love it because it’s always spotless, free of clutter, has all the amenities we need and Alex is great to deal with. There was even a Christmas tree this year! We appreciate the attention to detail and will definitely be back.

Tats place was great, well maintained. There could be additional seating in the lounge to accommodate more people. There was a small issue with water but Tat was quick to respond and resolve. Overall our stay was comfortable and would recommend

We had a wonderful 11 day stay at Caitlin’s. Extremely well appointed in terms of comfort and amenities (you could quite easily just enjoy the beautiful backyard and stay home). House was very spacious and, if you are travelling with children, Caitlin had lots of games, books and toys for their entertainment. As a multigenerational group we all enjoyed our stay and very much hope we can return very soon. Caitlin is an excellent host who takes her guests’ needs and comfort very seriously.
