My family and I decided on a spontaneous trip to upstate New York from North Carolina, and I’m thrilled I chose Drift Away as our accommodation in the Finger Lakes. This home is right on Seneca Lake, offering breathtaking views. The master bedroom is my favorite, with its incredible scenery and the delightful experience of stargazing at night. My kids had a blast with the spiral staircase and the Pac-Man game system upstairs. We also enjoyed the hot tub during our late November stay. The nighttime atmosphere at Drift Away is wonderfully peaceful, especially in the master bedroom where the sound of the waves lulls you to sleep. Accessing the front door involves a steep staircase, as parking is above the house, and we found it easy to back down the road when leaving. If you’re new to the area, I recommend arriving during daylight. Overall, our family absolutely loved this house!

Thanks so much, Merry for letting us stay at this place. The house is amazing, it's clean and peaceful and has everything you would need to make the stay wonderful. We had our 10 month old baby with us, and Merry made sure there's a high chair and a pack n play for the baby. The house could use a refill on some coffee and some bath essentials, but overall I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an accessible and beautiful place to stay near the finger lakes! Would definitely stay here again if I am visiting finger lakes, thanks again for hosting us!

We have a large group that takes a yearly trip to a different state. We had to change the date & location at the last minute. We found this place & loved it. It fit our large group perfectly, & it was definitely more fun than staying in separate hotel rooms. The view of the lake was wonderful. The host, Pete, was very quick in responding to any questions. We would definitely come here again.

Ben’s place was cozy and the location was spectacular. While the pictures and description are nice they don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person. This is on the list of places to return.

James undersold his house on his listing. The pictures do not do it justice. the lake area by the dock has a fantastic deck that was perfect for the kids to hang out. Also the house has a washer/dryer combo which made life easy with a newborn. Excellent location very convenient to vineyards. Overall loved the place would definitely come back.

Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend in the Rise & Wine House and it was a hit! The house was very well-equipped, clean and located perfectly between Watkins Glen and Geneva on the west coast of Seneca Lake. The neighbor's horses were so beautiful to watch run and play in the morning with the lake in the background. Sunrises were beautiful as well. My husband and I have been to Seneca several times, but never rented a house. We brought our parents and son (and Mini Doxie) and ALL of them now want to come back and explore more. It was cold, so of course, we didn't sit on the porch or use the fire pit... and it didn't matter one bit because the views from the great room are beautiful any way you slice it! We can't wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Loved our stay! Sleeping in the boathouse is totally worth the stairs to the main cottage. You can feel and see the family history in the main cottage. Elfi is a great host and we got exactly what she described. will totally stay again when in the area.

Wow! Okay so i’m not going to lie, I was slightly nervous of having my Bachelorette here given that some of my friends are boujee but WOW this place was perfect for the 14 of us. Pauline was super accommodating for our check in time, had enough tables and chairs for us to put outside for a hibachi dinner AND there was so much space in general that it never felt like there were so many of us (which was amazing). It’s also so centrally located so it was easy for us to get to the wineries, downtown geneva, etc. The shop on the property is also so cute - got some goodies to take home (: Worth the price!!!! Highly recommend and would come back.

The Cottages were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. It was nice and hot out so it was necessary to have AC and each cottage had AC that worked great. The lake was perfect and we were able to easily get out there every day we stayed. The place was pet friendly, so we brought our Golden, who also enjoyed the water. The views are perfect and everyone had so much fun. Bruce was very communicative and friendly. Although we got confused by parking at first that was easily fixed ( our problem with reading the directions). If you want a place to stay where everyone can get together or have their own space this is the place right on Canandaigua Lake!

This cabin is the perfect place for a little getaway. It feels remote and away from people but is still close to town so supplies aren't hard to get. The cabin itself is cozy and warm. Each room was clean as can come and the furniture was very comfy. The host is easy to talk to and has great recommendations for hiking and in-town places. I see myself renting it again the future!

My wife, our Border Collie and I had a great time at Bryan’s place. The view of the lake never gets old. The cottage was very clean. We went to a winery and a brewery that were close by. We rented a boat and took it out to dinner at one of the many restaurants that you can dock your boat at. We also used the paddle boat and the kayaks which was nice. We would absolutely come back again.

We had a great stay at Greg’s place! The apartment was perfectly located—everything we needed was within walking distance, making it so convenient to explore the area. The space was spotless, beautifully updated, and gave us plenty of room to relax after a day out. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the apartment was stocked with everything we needed to feel completely at home. Greg was proactive, informative, responsive, and accomodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Marjorie’s Airbnb was just perfect for me! It was easy to find, the neighborhood seemed safe, getting in using the code was very easy, the unit was immaculate and beautifully decorated, the bed was super comfortable, and the linens were high-quality and soft. Also, the bathroom looked brand new with good shower pressure, and I also appreciated the large screen TV with various streaming options and the treadmill for my morning workout. Marjorie is a very generous and sweet host, providing snacks, water bottles, and even a complementary bottle of wine. She is also very communicative and answered the question I had immediately. I felt very safe and at home at this Airbnb, and would love to come back! Thank you for everything, Marjorie!!

We had a very relaxing stay. The property was exactly as described, was comfortable, and had everything we needed. We visited local wineries, the local market, and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. This was a much needed respite from our daily grind. absolutely amazing. the location is obviously right on the slopes, which is great. but the house itself is gorgeous and way more beutiful in person. kitchen was stocked with everything that you might need. perfect house for a great ski vacation. it was such a pleasure to stay there and I could not recommend it more.

My goodness, what can I say about my stay at Sher’s place? It was absolutely perfect! From the ambiance to the beautiful surroundings to the most delicious pie I’ve eaten in years.
