We had a great stay at Lake Anna chalet. Everything we needed for a comfortable weekend, beds were very comfortable everything was extremely clean and kitchen was very well equipped. Thank you Christine, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

A Beautiful Home away from home. The hosts ensured that everything you would need was already there. We decided to have a Friends & Family Couples Valentine Weekend Getaway there and in all honesty we did not want to leave. We were looking at other times during this year and next when we can rent THIS HOME again. The hosts were very responsive when we had a couple unknown/lost guests (to us). It was apparent that they’ve been there before because they played with toys and drank out of the pet water bowls. The place was big enough for everyone to gather together for a movie & play games, pull out your laptop for last minute work project or just sit in the sunroom and read a book or two. Bedrooms were spacious with 4 full Bathrooms. I’m trying to see if husband would like to do Thanksgiving in Orange, VA this year. Thank you Jim & Michelle for sharing your beautiful home. We definitely look forward to renting with you again in the near future, The Bowers, Tillery’s and McDonalds.

A beautiful setting and a well appointed house, perfect for group gatherings. The lake at this end is very peaceful, lots of herons and geese, and the surrounding water and marshes are gorgeous to kayak through. Kitchen has everything you’d need for any range of possible meals. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and include soap/shampoo dispensers, and we loved having a range of seating areas. The hot tub is a really nice one! A few things that may be useful for future guests to pack or know: the dock and deck have no furniture if you want to pack beach chairs (we did). The water on this side is comparatively shallow but fine to put a pontoon or canoe in. We did wish for screen doors on the many large back doors to enjoy the breeze, but used the screened in porch for that. Don’t forget beach towels! The upstairs living room doesn’t have a TV, though the downstairs one is huge (this was fine for us but others may want to be aware when they pick bedrooms).

This lake house was beautiful with excellent views. Eric was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and local recommendations. There would have been more to do in the warmer months but it was still nice for a winter getaway.

An amazing house with lots to do! We had a great time and appreciated everything the house came with (kayaks, spices, paddle boards, fishing rods, extra linens, pots and pans). This is definitely our favorite stay so far.

Tricia's home was a wonderful spot for our large group of friends to spend a long, cold weekend. The property was exactly at described, we really enjoyed having four regular bedrooms and bunk rooms that were separate. The outdoors were beautiful and had a lot to offer, we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. And the game room was a wonderful addition and offered plenty of fun options for our crew of kids. Tricia was a responsive host who was helpful every step of the way. We would happily return to experience this home and the lake in the summer months!

This was a great place for our needs! 5 girlfriends drove from 2-3 hours away for a girl's weekend. The layout of the house, kitchen, and living room suited our needs just fine. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean, which is all we ever ask. The were 2 things that were only very slightly bothersome, but not enough to turn us away from this place again. One, there wasn't a lot of lighting available in the living room and we had to get creative with the 2 lamps that were there. The other thing was we didn't realize there wasn't a bathroom in the basement. I am sure if I looked more closely at the photos, I would see that, and again it wouldn't deter us from staying there again, but if we had our kids with us, it would be a hinderance. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace while it stormed outside and getting cozy on the couch. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us to spread out, read books, and enjoy each others company.

Our second time here and another great stay. Incredibly comfortable, beautiful lake views, fun games, and Al is so helpful and patient. Enjoyed the air hockey, views of the lake from the comfortable couch and attention to detail like black out curtains that helped us sleep. Al had someone shovel us out during a storm, which was incredibly thoughtful. A very comfortable stay, you won't be disappointed!
