This bungalow was a wonderful place for our small group to enjoy a laid-back beach weekend. I loved the old-Florida charm of the place, and just steps from the beach. Overall, very pleased and may very well return!

The house was everything I had expected. I have had some bad experiences in the past. So a little concerned, but Charles place lived up to all and more. I would rent it again.

Fantastic spot: Easily walkable to everything in town, even closer to the beach, and quiet and peaceful all the while. The large open-air lanai is a nice touch - allows you to easily alternate sun and shade while staying outside. We had great weather, but it would also be a nice place to sit with a coffee on a rainy day. Neighbors are there (hotel and next-door bungalow) but the way it is arranged we didn't much see anyone, the lanai and backyard still felt secluded. The bungalow itself is more spacious than we expected. There are two doors off the lanai, one to the kitchen and one to a living room, which was convenient for us parents after putting the kids to sleep. Nearby playground for families with kids. Sandra was friendly and responsive, and it was great that she was local.

This was a nice stop for us and our pup as we traveled through Florida. We had a nice walk on the dog friendly beach on our quick overnight here!

A charming little house with thoughtfully curated Florida decor, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's conveniently located near the shops and restaurants on Canal Street, with easy access to New Smyrna Beach just a few minutes away. The hosts were incredibly responsive, always available to answer any questions within minutes. While the space felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still comfortable—though it may not be the best fit for very tall guests. There was an issue with the dryer, but the hosts quickly worked with us to find a mutually agreeable solution. One small addition that would enhance the stay is providing beach chairs or accessories for guests to enjoy the nearby shore. Overall, a lovely stay with great hospitality!

House was extremely clean. Backyard was great for the pup. King bed was extremely comfortable. Very nice neighborhood.

Loata’s place worked really well for us and our two pets! We booked last minute and she was very accommodating and the animals enjoyed the partially fenced back yard. Overall it was a great stay and Loata is an amazing host. Thank you!

Enjoyed staying at this Airbnb. Location to restaurants was great. Short walk to Flagler Ave. Rarely had to drive unless we went to Canal Street. Slept good. Enjoyed sitting on porch in the evening. Quiet neighborhood; couple blocks walk to the ocean

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. And our dogs loved the fenced backyard. The location was very convenient. Close to shopping and some great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barefoot Bungalow. Unit was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. Really liked the layout of the condo with the kitchen/dining/living room in the middle with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on either side. The neighbourhood is nicely landscaped, safe and very friendly. The set-up is great if you have a dog and can walk them across the street to the pond/fountain where there are doggy bags and disposal for easy clean-up. The best of both worlds with short walks to the pier for sunsets and the beach for sunrises. Also, grocery, drugstore nearby and some great restaurants within walking distance (Seafood Kitchen, Hurricane (live music nightly) and the Funkadelic Food Shack to name a few). Also, recommend Fish Camp (with a tour of the distillery next door) and Harry’s Seafood downtown. Thank you so much Tammy and hope to be back!

It was the best 3 day vacation we had. Me and my best friend went to celebrate our anniversary of being friends for 10 years. The house was beautiful, everything was so neat and in place. We loved staying there and Meg had great communication with us!! Will definitely be booking with Meg again!!

The house was very cozy. It reminded us of houses we had known in the past. There was only 2 of us so the size worked well. Tom has done a great job in updating the house. Might consider lowering the remotes for the fans. Funny to admit but we had a hard time seeing them.
