Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft gelegen. Von der Veranda des Zimmers kann man viele Vögel beobachten und in dem kleinen Fluss schwimmen kleine Krokodile. Auch eine größere Affengruppe konnten wir beobachten. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Unterkunft wird Frühstück angeboten. Wir haben jeden Morgen dort gefrühstückt, denn es war einfach super lecker. Auch wird das Frühstück bereits ab 5 Uhr angeboten, so dass man noch vor einem gebuchten Tagesausflug in den Corcovado Nationalpark frühstücken kann. Teresa hat uns bereits im Vorwege bei der Buchung der Ausflüge und der Abwicklung der Zahlung mit dem Veranstalter geholfen. Auch vor Ort war Sie immer gut erreichbar und hat uns dabei geholfen einen kurzfristigen weiteren Auslug zu organisieren. Außerdem hat Sie für uns eine Ärztin kontaktiert und dafür gesorgt, diese an einem Sonntag direkt zu besuchen, nachdem sich ein Insektenstich entzündet hatte. Wir haben es hier geliebt.

je ne sais pas par où commencer tant l'expérience à été belle à vivre ! tous les commentaires positifs lus précédemment sont exacts c'est une maison incroyable dans un environnement si paisible Luis nous a fait découvrir plein de coins merveilleux . Raquel et sa sœur nous ont fait de très bon repas et la maison est super bien entretenue . franchement n'hésitez pas à réserver à finca manglar , vous ne le regretterez pas De bons souvenirs garantis Merci Lia de proposer ce genre d'endroit à louer et un grand merci à Luis et sa famille d'être des personnes si sympathiques et avenantes . plutôt que de louer chez des grosses compagnies avec 40 personnes pour un guide , ici vous avez votre guide Luis disponible rien que pour vous et d'une extrême gentillesse pour info , cascade superbe , bateau dans la mangrove ( caïmans, serpents , singes, toucans , perroquets etc....) et plage privé en bateau ( magnifique plage ) cherchez pas , venez ....

Great host, very clean and quiet place! The host was very helpful and very attentive. He answered all my questions and help me with everything! It’s a perfect place to stay if you have in mind going to Corcovado. He will help you with that too.

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía en lo de Jessica y Luis. No sólo por lo lindo y tranquilo de la propiedad, sino también por la buena onda y disposición de Jessica y su familia. La propiedad es lindisima y está ubicada en un barrio muy lindo y tranquilo. Los pájaros, monos y el mar son parte de la vista y de los sonidos constantes. El bungalow es muy cómodo y tiene todo lo justo y necesario. Y lo que no tengas, Jessica y Luis siempre atentos a ayudar en lo que necesiten!!

Stayed at Colette's place for 2 days. Unit is on the edge of the jungle so definitely expect a few insects to be found inside your unit. Private pool was amazing, The view of the beach is perfect! Worth mentioning that before booking the unit is in dominical... it is NOT. it is about a 15 min drive north of the town. Therefore, I would not recommend this unit unless you have a car.

If you are interested in ethically responsible tourism, where your money can make a difference in a community that is transitioning away from resource extraction, support Acodobrarti and the community work they are doing! Acodobrarti is an association of local guides and B&B operators. Requests for lodging come into the main Acodobrarti number, manned by Emer or Esther, who then communicate with the various B&B hosts. Cielo Verde is owned by Ligia, a lovely, charming lady who makes this an amazing stay! She cooks a great breakfast at whatever time you like, and will also cook other wonderful meals for you if requested. You stay in the rooms behind her house, and eat meals in the house. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable. I would say the main attraction is your host; Ligia is a fantastic hostess who is friendly and sweet and loves to chat in Spanish or practice her English. She really does go above and beyond for her guests, arranging tours, laundry service, afternoon coffee-whatever she can do to make your stay pleasant. This is a community driven rural tourism project, without the large investment funds that foreigners have. Which means each time a guests stays , Ligia is able to invest to improve the property. Please note that she is just starting out, so the space is lacking in some amenities, like pictures on the wall, a nightstand or shelves to put your things. There are some chairs to hang outside, but not much in the way of an outdoor patio or garden. But thats ok because there is a trail right next to her house you can take into private conservation concession bordering Corcovado with or without a guide-Acodobrarti offers great tours as well. There is VERY limited wifi in the town of Dos Brazos, so please don't expect to be connected unless you go down to the community centre and use someone's wifi from their phone. Fine for sending messages but not for extended time online. Make sure to hang out at the community centre on Sunday nights for movie night and a pickup soccer or volleyball game. They also do a pretty good pizza and great smoothies.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

Der Aufenthalt bei Casita and Tours Happy Feet hat die Erwartungen voll erfüllt und punktet mit einem Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Javier und Vanesa sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben für jedes Problem und jede Frage kurzfristig eine Lösung. Die Unterkunft ist es etwa schwierig zu finden, jedoch sind alle Dorfbewohner sehr hilfsbereit und helfen gerne. Wenige Meter von der Unterkunft ist das beste Restaurant in Drake Bay zu finden.

Très bel endroit, la chambre était très propre, le lit confortable, la cuisine commune était bien fournis et vraiment propre. La piece commune est pleine de charme et il y a de la lecture sur le Costa Rica. Le gros plus était la visite du parc Corcovado, on a vraiment passé une super journée à voir beaucoup d'animaux ! Merci à Vincent notre guide :) Petit bémol : la connexion Wi-fi qui des fois fonctionnait et des fois non. Apparemment c'est partout comme ça a Drake Baie

We stayed for a week at Happy Feet and we really enjoyed our stay. A lovely guest house with space to cook and sit about in. Javier always responded promptly with any queries. We went on the overnight Corcovado tour which we would highly recommend, we also had Javier as our guide who we would rate very highly. He had such enthusiasm and passion, Javier could identify animals by sound and smell. We so many different birds and animals, thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Le logement est bien placé dans Bahía Drake, proche du centre. En plus Javier qui est aussi guide propose des tours du parc Corcovado ou des tours de nuit, ce qui est franchement sympathique.

Staying at Lipstick Palms was truly one of the most special and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. The home & amenities are unreal! A stunning retreat with sweeping views of the Pacific, a great breeze and every detail is high-end and thoughtful. Annie and Patrick are the kindest, most gracious hosts—you instantly feel like you’re visiting dear friends or family you adore. Upon request, they prepared a beautiful, elevated meal our first night (that peach cream cake was unreal!) and again on our last night. One evening, we went into town together, played pool at a fun dive bar, had chili guaro shots.m- so fun! They also took us to a wine bar on the ocean where we fed bananas to monkeys at sunset—it was pure magic. The location is perfect, the pool is gorgeous, and we felt so at home the entire time. Annie and Patrick were present but never intrusive—it was the perfect balance. Their care, warmth, and hospitality made this stay something we’ll never forget. Dreaming of coming back!

This is my second time and my partner's third time staying at Kirani's place. We absolutely love it there! Both Kirani and Fernando are amazing people! The place is basic but has everything that's needed. The view is breath taking and you feel like you become part of nature! There is no air-conditioning, so if you suffer from the heat this isn't the best place for you. But there sre fans and a very nice hammock where you can enjoy the breeze. It's also pretty far from downtown so better if you have a car, but you can take a taxi to town whenever you need to for $20US. All in all a pretty magical place!

Muchas Gracias pro todo! It was such a pleasure to stay with Fernando and arrange everything with Kirani. People with lots of heart! We had a Great tour to San pedrillo, a nightwalking tour with Fernando to the „House-Jungle“, Went to see dolphins, head dinner and chats with Fernando, saw monkeys, tucans, kolibris and so much More.. we will try to come back for sure to this paradise! Mucha suerte con todo 😘

Drake Bay is magical! Kirani is the most communicative host I've ever met. She went out of her way to arrange and book everything for us and answered any messages within minutes. Fernando is very accommodating. You can tell how much they both love the place. The place is very basic and rustic. The location can be an advantage or a disadvantage. It is out of town, so if you don't have a car, you need to take a taxi every time you need groceries or anything else (can become expensive). On the other hand it was very nice to be away from the town center and very connected with nature (althought the road can be noisy at times). We ended up eating dinner at the restaurant that is five minute down the hill, which is run by wonderful people. Great food and reasonable prices. There is also a gorgeuose and very secluded beach 10 minutes walk from there. The kitchen and rooms have some issues (as mentioned before) but I know that Kirani and Fernando are constantly working to improve the place.

Adriana is proud of her place which shows in spotless clean room, terase. Most of all she is welcoming, with open heart, friendly communicator. 5 star from me. Thank you
