Our family of four loved staying in the condo apartment. The view was amazing, and the children loved the pool as well. There were minor house keeping issues, but the host team was very responsive. The location is a great base to explore the area (Nauyaca falls, Marino Ballena national park). I would stay here again.

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of the most stunning locations in Costa Rica, and it exceeded all my expectations. The natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery, pristine beaches, and vibrant wildlife everywhere you look. The accommodations were immaculate and designed to harmonize perfectly with the surrounding environment, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was unforgettable. Whether you’re looking to relax in paradise or explore the wonders of nature, this place offers the best of both worlds. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven in Costa Rica!

Staying at Pura Vida was a wonderful experience for me and my family. The house is amazing, built and decorated with impeccable taste, comfortable, elegant, modern and with a breathtaking view to the ocean and forest. The hosts are most welcoming and we felt right at home. We were sad we had to leave! But we look forward to coming back soon…

Elmer what a great host! He was very responsive and proactive about any issue we had during our stay. The house is very clean, and the grounds are well taken care of around the house. He increased the Internet speed for our work needs and that was very nice! There was an issue with noise from a new nearby hotel and Elmer was very proactive trying to help us solve that problem.

The house is amazing! Our host made check in and check out simple. The views were wonderful, the rooms spacious, and all the amenities were perfect. They also helped us arrange a chef and dance instructor for a fun night. You definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up to the house but it is worth the drive up. (Side note - a prior review discussed a window in the bathroom and whether you could see inside from the pool. Given that the window is way above the head of my 6 foot husband, I am not sure how anyone could think you could see in) I highly recommend booking here!

This is my 4th stay with Hermosa Retreats and it will not be my last. Gorgeous villa, unbeatable view & amenity you could want including hair tools. The hot tub with fire feature is a divine way to end the evening. If you have the chance to stay here don’t hesitate- you will love it! Thank you for another lovely stay, Pura Vida

Maison magnifique, un endroit paradisiaque. Nous avons adoré, profité de la vue ,chaque chambre dispose de la literie incroyable, une vue à couper le souffle pour chaque chambre . Tout etait très propre . Un véhicule équipé 4x4 est nécessaire pour accéder à la propriété mais c est le prix à payer pour un endroit paradisiaque.

Cette villa est extraordinaire lovée dans une nature luxuriante dominant UVITA, elle est tres bien aménagée et les 4 casitas ont permis à chacun d’avoir son intimité tout en passant du temps précieux en famille (9 adultes et 7 enfants) . La piscine, l’énorme terrasse, le mobilier extérieur et intérieur tout est bien pensé pour le plaisir et le confort des grands comme des petits. Le plus c’est le gentil jardinier Gilberto, qui s’occupe presque quotidiennement de la piscine et du jardin tropical, il nous a permis de profiter de ses nombreuses connaissances de la nature environnante et nous a confectionné de merveilleux bouquets de fleurs. Enfin, la présence, la réactivité et les conseils d’Anick nous ont été d’un très grand soutien pendant ces 2 semaines.

This is a luxury villa. For two families it was absolutely perfect. The pool is impeccable and the space set up around it are attention to detail, comfortable, beautiful from every angle and well thought out. We all could relax around the pool together or separately and have space in gorgeous surroundings. House also fantastic and so many different eating areas :")

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the place!!! It is up a mountain and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Uvita and everything you need! It feels like your own little piece of paradise surrounded by wild life and lots of beautiful plants. We saw a monkey in the tree upon arrival. The river is so close that you can hear it and it’s super peaceful!! Very beautiful water falls near by, the national park, and the beach!!! I will say I don’t know if we would’ve made it up the mountain and to the resort without a 4x4! Also, I must note that the upstairs and downstairs unit are separate. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. So, if you’re like me and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you do have to go outside and downstairs to use the bathroom!!! But it was really no problem. Incredible place for the price! Highly recommend 😌

Stunning house! The views are incredible and lovely to wake up in the morning with floor to ceiling windows of the view across the valley. It’s pretty remote but that comes with being on the side of the mountain with the views and only a 20min drive down to the supermarket / closest restaurants.

The place is great and like others around it, the view and the wildlife were terrific. What stood out for us was the waterfall on the property and the quality of the mattresses. I especially feel the need to point out the mattresses. We’ve stayed in many rentals and quite often the beds are rough. These beds were great.

Great location to stay at. Completely surrounded by the jungle, we saw monkeys almost daily and wouldn't you guess it, Toucans!!! We had easy (not free) access to Balleena beach and other beached south of Uvita. The house was very clean when we arrived. Roberts team was very responsive to our requests for a pool clean up and help getting more propane for the oven. The AC units provided a huge relief from the heat. Would definitely stay there again.

cabane en bois plongée dans la nature avec une superbe végétation. proximité du parc corcovado , du golfo dulce et de nombreuses plages très belles. dommage que la route soit un peu proche mais avec des boules quies pour la nuit c'est OK.

Es un lugar muy lindo y acogedor , super tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza, muy limpio y con lo necesario para la estadia. Agradezco mucho la honradez y amabilidad de los anfitriones , por descuido nuestro dejamos un bolsito e inmediatamente fue reportado por ellos para la entrega. Excelente de su parte . Volveremos el lugar hermoso y cómodo.

Magnifique jardin. Je serais resté plus longtemps je m’y sentais en sécurité. Le lit est confortable. Vraiment j’y retournerai!

Die Unterkunft liegt beinahe direkt am Strand, so dass einen das Meeresrauschen immer begleitet! Das Meer und der Strand vor Ort ein Traum! Beim Essen auf einen der beiden Veranda's begleiten einen das Kreischen der Papageien, die Brüllaffen, .. Jossetth antwortet schnell und freundlich auf Nachrichten. Ihre Eltern vor Ort sind supernett & hilfsbereit, wir haben ihre Anwesenheit und ihre lieben Gesten sehr geschätzt.

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

War alles wie beschrieben. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Der Marino Ballena Nationalpark ist 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Gerne wieder.
