Yoko is an excellent host. She is so friendly and generous. I missed my bus stop and she was so helpful in getting me back to the correct bus stop. She then met me to take me to the accommodations so that I didn’t have any further issues. The room was very clean and comfortable. Yoko was very helpful in explaining how to get to various locations around Kyoto. I will definitely stay here in the future and I highly recommend staying here. It was a lovely experience.

オーナーさんが非常に優しい方です。 イベント後に伺いましたが、チェックイン時間がかなり変更になったにも関わらず、快くご対応いただけました。 今回は入浴施設の後に伺いましたが、お風呂を利用する場合は事前に連絡すれば湯船にお湯をためておいていただけるとのことです。 施設は、建物自体は少し古めですが、きれいにリフォーム等されていて、和室も全く不快感もありませんでした。 暖房をつけておいていただいたので寒さも気になりませんでしたし、布団は寒さ対策で2枚敷布団でご用意いただきました。 朝食もアットホームなものをいただき、大変満足です。 今回は夜遅くに伺い、朝早く出たので寝るだけの滞在となりましたが、機会あればもう少しゆっくり滞在したいと思う宿でした。 ありがとうございました！

ベット数、部屋数が多くグループごとに分かれることもできたのでよかった。急な滞在にも対応して頂けました。

The host Yuki was really responsive and helpful, we were able to navigate the area and have a wonderful stay thanks to her! She even helped us to order seafood from a nearby fish market and lent us bbq equipment ☺️ It’s best to get there via car, and I would recommend driving a smaller car due to the narrow roads. (We rented a Toyota Alphard and had abit of a hard time at first 😅) We had such a great time thanks to her, would recommend 100%!

I stayed here for 5 nights in winter as a base to work remotely for a couple of days before exploring Kyoto. It was exactly what I was looking for: a quiet hideaway not far from the main city area, with good wifi, and a host that I can practice Japanese with. The house is on top of a hill with splendid views. I can imagine how lovely it’ll look when it snows, when the Sakura blooms or during autumn. I was kept warm and comfortable with the kotatsu, electric blanket, access to a kitchenette and hot water shower/bath. I met a couple of interesting house mates too. Keiko-san is the loveliest host and prepares a delicious breakfast for you daily. She also makes sure to drive me to and back from the train station (only a 15min straight train to Kyoto station). I will miss our little chats on the car rides. This space is perfect for anyone looking to escape the crowds of the city, take it slow, and experience local living. This is a different Kyoto and one that I really like.

Easily the best AirBnB experience we’ve had. Yoko’s place is a perfect place to stay in Kyoto, but it’s much more than just a place to rest your head. Yoko is helpful beyond words and goes out of her way to assist and make you feel at home. I can’t praise her or her house enough.

急な祖父の葬儀で周辺のホテルが取ることができず、こちらにお世話になり助かりました。快適に過ごせ、何よりホスト様の気配り・お心遣いが染みました。子ども達はおやつに大喜び、私たちは祖父のこともあり眠れず、夜食を頂きながら思い出話をして夜を過ごし、朝食まで整えて頂き本当に助かりました。食べないと乗り越えられそうになかったので、救われました。この度は本当にありがとうございました！

Kazuko is a hospitable host and feedback promptly. The Masaru house is a common Japanese house. We six adults stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed a period Japanese daily life. The full functional kitchen and the deep bathtub impressed us a lot. Although it is located in a quiet residential area, more than 10 supermarkets and convenient stores are within 6~8 minutes walking distance. Overall, thanks Kazuko-san and Marsaru house, we had a wonderful trip.

Chambre confortable. Petite pour 4 mais agréable ; elle est bien conçue pour y rester quelques jours . Proche du parc Universal Studio ☺️👍

호스트가 매우 친절합니다. 시설은 조금 오래된 건물이어서 벌레가 나오지 않을까 걱정했지만 벌레는 한번도 나오지 않았고 편안하게 지냈습니다.

Ichie 先生做事井井有条，时间观念很强。有帮我规划每天的路线。确定好第二天起床时间后，会提前一点时间起床做早餐，在约定的时间刚好准备好。品尝早餐前会给我介绍吃的是什么，而且还会做蛋糕哎。每天睡前都有小甜点。在得知第一天晚上的布丁有点甜的时候，第二天做的蛋糕特地少放了糖，味道刚刚好。和我交流的时候会把电视关了，专注和我讲话，偶尔也会主动提起新的话题。房子也很精致，体验感还不错。

친철하시고 피드백 빠르십니다. 무엇보다 가성비가 아주 좋았어요. 화장실, 욕실 2개씩에 침대가 생각보다 많이 편함. 들가면 다시 나오기 힘들었음

Great place to stay if you’re visiting Osaka. The house was located close to a train station and not very far from any of the attractions. Host was very responsive,flexible, and friendly

Die Unterkunft ist vom Ōsaka Loop gut zu erreichen. Und man ist schnell an den Touristen Spots. In der Nähe 2min zu Fuß gibt es eine Überdachte Einkaufsstraße mit vielen kleine Läden. Diese reicht bis zum Bahnhof. Die Unterkunft an sich ist ein altes japanisches Mietshaus. Wie man es noch aus Filmen kennt. Dem entsprechenden wie auch bei anderen japanischen Häusern, dünne Wände. Ich habe von den Gästen neben an, aber nichts gehört. Generell eine sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft. Direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite (Gasse) ist ein Obstladen für die tägliche Portion Vitamin C. Zur Unterkunft kann man sonst nur sagen, dass es drauf ankommt was für andere Gäste im Haus sind und wie sich diese benehmen. Bei Nami gibt es jeden Morgen zu erst einmal Frühstück und einen Tee (oder etwas anderes). Das ist auch der Beste Ort sich mit anderen auszutauschen, um noch an ein paar gute Tipps zu kommen. Von der Atmosphäre, wie Urlaub bin Oma (im positiven Sinne). Ich würde wieder hin gehen.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. Thank you tommy!

I'm a super light sleeper and there was no street noise at all. Very quiet. Great Japanese hot breakfast (fish, egg, rice, vegetables). I would stay there again.

The Sano family perfectly embodies what "home away from home" truly means. My stay was a heartwarming, comfortable, and unique addition to my trip to Japan! Great communication before my arrival. It rained a lot during my visit, but despite the weather, Sano-san kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the station to keep me from getting soaked. I was lucky enough to enjoy two home-cooked meals at their house, they are delicious! The nearby hot spring was perfect for unwinding at the end of my trip. Sano-san was kind to ask about my plans for my last day and ended up taking me to gem shops in and around Kaizuka city to help me find the items I had wanted but hadn’t had a chance to buy. One night at the Sano family's home was simply too short—I truly wish I had more time to enjoy their hospitality and explore the area further. I can't wait to return someday to see their adorable poodle, Vamos, who will likely have grown into an even bigger boy by then. 100% recommended!

가족 여행 최고의 숙소였습니다. 오사카의 다양한 일정을 포근하게 감싸 안아 하루의 피로를 풀 수 있었습니다. JR 및 오사카 메트로와 가까이 있어 어떠한 관광지 더라도 편리하게 이용 가능했습니다. 아침 조식은 간단하지만 충분합니다. 일본의 욕실 사용이 처음에는 낯설었지만 익숙해지니 굉장히 탐이 나는 시스템이었습니다. 모든 면에서 만족했습니다.

とても親しみやすいオーナーさんで、説明もとても丁寧でした。 地元のお勧めの飲食店、銭湯(天然温泉）の情報も正確で良かったです。 また、子供用のおもちゃも部屋においてあり、細やかな気配りが、お部屋の至る所にありました。 朝食のサンドイッチは、どれも美味しいですが、カレー味がお勧め(笑)

A pure sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate. The location is at the top of beautiful and quiet Koyodai. The combination of the warmth of Sachiyo’s and Justin’s hospitality and the impeccable design of their home and the meals unmatched in terms of quality of ingredients and flavor was perfection. I am grateful for the simple touches of care and creativity each day. I felt welcome and so happy. I look forward to seeing them again. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.

😍Well all comments about Tanaka san and his wife Machiko san are true but can't really describe how this people are simply amazing, wonderful and so generous. The japanese style house is so cozy with everything for us. The Tanaka homemade onsen is so relaxing...even more after a wagyu bbq night with a glass of japanese whisky (thank you Tanaka 😉). Thank you Machiko for your breakfest plenty of love and flavor. Thank you for your help with our laundry. Last comment (more usefull), house is just beside of bus stop (seriously best way to travel in Kyoto). The bus stop is a city bus but also JR bus stop include with many JR and JR west pass.
