Yumiko was very responsive with every question I had. She and her husband greeted my family upon arrival and were very kind about showing us where everything was. The walk to the train station is exactly how it is described in the listing.

Dong was an awesome host. Very responsive to all our needs and solicitous. Very friendly and provided great recommendations for local activities. The airbnb is located in a quiet part of Osaka but still less than 10 minutes from the subway. It's a perfect base for exploring Osaka or going to Kyoto. The airbnb has decent sized living room and bedroom (for Japan). All in all, this airbnb is perfect for small families. I couldn't have asked for a better Osaka Airbnb.

Our stay was everything we hoped for on our trip to Kyoto. We were able to experience living in a traditional Japanese home. It was, in our words, “So, so cool!!!! The home was very beautiful, clean, well appointed, and the hosts were awesome and made us feel at home. The local recommendations were extensive. As a bonus, the washer/dryer combo, unlike others we’ve used in Europe, worked like a charm. We could load the unit in the morning before we left for our day and returned to clean and fully dried clothes in the evening. It was a game changer. We needed to travel light because we were traveling between many cities and were using carry-on luggage. I highly recommend this Airbnb!!!

Hong's Airbnb was very conveniently located. Hong promptly sent us helpful visuals to assist us in finding her place, which were much easier than the backroad instructions offered by Google Maps. The beds were very comfortable and there were many. The shower was large and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped, although we did not use it. Most of all, Hong was always extremely quick to respond to any correspondence and was always very kind in her interactions. We wholeheartedly recommend her and her home.

This was a wonderful place for my family (two adults and children ages 18, 15, & 12) and I to stay! It is a very quiet, safe neighborhood with a market down the block and close transportation. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking to experience Kyoto like a local this is the place! In a quiet, friendly neighborhood with convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. The place itself is a unique old Machiya that makes you feel like you’re really in Japan. Spacious and very clean, the outdoor Hot tub and garden are huge bonuses. The bed was extremely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. For the best ramen experience too go to “Menbaka” down the street , 5 stars!

C'était une charmante maison, très spacieuse, tout équipé dans un quartier calme. Lawson et métro à moins de 10min à pied et 15 min de trajet jusqu'à la station Namba. Je recommande vivement pour ceux qui veulent s'éloigner un peu, mais pas trop, de la foule du centre ville.

I had an incredible month at Toshie’s place. First of all, Toshie is an amazing host—so friendly, generous, and kind. Honestly, the biggest stroke of luck I had during my time in Japan was meeting her. She gifted me so many wonderful memories, meaningful conversations, and lasting inspiration. I had the joy of spending quality time with Toshie, her lovely family, and her warm community. She made me feel truly welcome and part of something special. Even if Toshie weren’t such a fantastic host, the house alone would get 5 stars from me. It’s modern, comfortable, and well-located in a peaceful neighborhood with a nearby bus line. You can also easily walk or bike to the train station—and Toshie generously provides two bikes for guests to use. I loved biking around the neighborhood to do errands or simply explore. Whether you're staying for a few days or a longer visit, this place is amazing! Thanks again Toshie for everything :):)

Yamano-san is one of the most helpful hosts I've ever had the pleasure of having. He sent us a complete house guide with directions to get to his place (with photos of every turn), how to use the appliances, and how to dispose of garbage. Japan has strict rules on garbage disposal, so that was essential information. He alsobmet us at check-in to show us everything. He responds to messages immediately and came when we needed help with the water system. We came during cherry blossoms season so everything was just wow! Crowded but beautiful. Good thing Yamano-san's house is in a quiet area even if it is less than 200m from a train and bus station, and from a convenience store. We were even able to walk to the iconic Togetsu-kyo Bridge. Bonus: He is a setai (body adjustment) doctor. He treated two of our group and they loved it! We definitely recommend staying there!

一戶建的旅居空間很大而且温馨舒適。入住當天我們很晚才到達（晚上10時多才到）但沒想到旅居主人還在等待我們，而且為我們搬行李及打傘，介紹屋內設施。旅居內一應俱全，還有小孩玩具及圖書，還提供很多旅居附近的購物及飲食資訊，寢室很舒適並備有充電插頭，樓梯還裝有小夜燈方便夜間下樓，而且有防滑地毯，洗手間內有毛巾抹手。亦有車位方便自駕人士。意想不到的是竟然有歡迎入住的信，真的非常貼心。性價比非常高，非常適合一家大小，有機會會再次入住，亦會給推介打算造訪大阪的親友。離開時旅居主人夫婦還親自相送！

This place was perfect for our group of 5. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and 1 with room for several mattresses. It also had tatami rooms up front so plenty of space. It has a kitchen and dining area in back which was comfortable for sitting, and also has a living room up front. The bathroom and shower and tub were very convenient, as well as the two separate toilets. We also used the laundry. The place is covert accessible to the bus lines. It was perfect.

Yukiko is such a wonderful host. My partner and I have had a great time in her beautiful townhome. It was peaceful and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend that someone who doesn’t want a typical hostel/hotel experience to come here!!!

Hide war wirklich ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns mit zahlreichen Informationen versorgt. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und es gab sogar einige kostenlose Getränke und Snacks. Es hat uns Spaß gemacht die Fotowand und Nachrichten der vorherigen Gäste anzuschauen. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants sind zu Fuß von der Unterkunft zu erreichen oder man hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Umgebung sehr belebt ist und man auch nachts manchmal Lärm von vorbeigehenden Leuten hören kann.

El alojamiento esta muy bien, lo unico negativo es que las escaleras para subir a las habitaciones son de escalones muy pequeños y me puede ser peligroso por la noche.

Kimiko is a fantastic host. She is communicative and clear, and gave us really thorough instructions on how to find her place via walking directions/map, public transportation and using Kyoto Shaw Inn for Google Maps. Her place is spacious by Japanese standards, so we could happily rest our feet from all out walking across Kyoto, and feel comfortable. The Paket Market grocery store is just a few minutes walking distance, very easy to buy breakfast and snack items. The train station was also close by. If Fushimi Inari is on your Kyoto sights list, Kimiko's place is near to it. Very comfortable beds and truly a quiet neighborhood.

Una casa hermosa, pequeña al estilo japonés. Muy bien ubicada. Con los accesorios necesarios para una estadia confortable. Accesible al transporte público, muchos restaurantes, combinis cercanos. Ademas, es un sitio tranquilo. Eso si, la escalera a los dormitorios es algo empinada ( igual que todos las escaleras japonesas) volveria!!!

Le meilleur hôte Airbnb que nous ayons jamais eu ! Mitsuo a vraiment été adorable et serviable. Il s’est soucié de notre arrivée pour pouvoir venir nous chercher à la gare de Kyoto et lors du départ il nous a déposé à la gare également mais aussi il nous a aidé dans nos démarches pour pouvoir faire envoyer nos valises à notre prochain hôtel. Le logement est assez accessible du centre ville par les transports en commun, il est propre et spacieux. C’est une maison traditionnelle qui permet de vivre comme un vrai kyotoïte pour un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Nous avons suivi les recommandations de Mitsuo en allant au sento le plus proche et nous le recommandons également. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans ce logement et grâce à Mitsuo. Merci infiniment !

Everything was perfect, the house is huge, the train station is very near and Mitsuhiro-san is a great host. One of the best Airbnb experience I ever had !
