Ole Kristian was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive, sent me clear instructions for the cottage and was very accommodating for everything we needed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we had everything we needed to cook. Jacuzzi is easy to use and the views were gorgeous!! Don’t hesitate to book this getaway for yourself. You’ll be so happy you did. Would definitely go back the next time I’m craving a peaceful getaway. Thank you so much Ole Kristian! :)

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und die Lage sehr ruhig und perfekt für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Das Haus war genau das, was wir wollten. Die Küche ist ausserordentlich gut ausgerüstet. Es hat einen Pelletsgrill und einen Kugelgrill. Es hat Esstische im Haus und im Freien. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit den Feuerstellen sehr gemütlich. Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt.

Hytta var moderne og komfortabel. Vertinnen var svært hyggelig og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på hytta til Laura. Veldig rent og fint, og Laura stilte hytta til disposisjon på kort varsel. Badestampen var varm ved ankomst og jeg og mine to søstre hadde et veldig hyggelig døgn her. Laura svarer raskt og er veldig hjelpsom! Anbefales.

Kari-Anne ist eine Top Vermieterin, reagiert schnell auf Nachrichten, fragt oft selber nach, ob einem etwas fehlt. Der Check In war sehr einfach, das Haus sieht genau so aus, wie auf den Bildern. Super Ausstattung und wahnsinniger Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, tolle Umgebung, die Wanderungen waren sehr abenteuerlich für die Kinder. Der Pool war stets an und einfach zu bedienen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen 🥰🧡🧡

I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

An amazing stay! The most beautiful, peaceful location just close enough to the city if you want to venture out but me and my partner were very happy to stay in and appreciate the coziness of the cabin. It felt like staying at home with all the amenities available to you. Would definitely stay again

We hebben een kort verblijf gehad in het huis van David, maar eigenlijk was het te kort. We voelden ons direct thuis en waren verrast door een adembenemend uitzicht! Het huisje is heel sfeervol ingericht. Het contact met David verliep ook heel fijn, makkelijk & vriendelijk. We raden het verblijf dan ook zeker aan.

Superkoselig hytte, rent og veldig fint at det er så nærme Oslo!

в цілому, комфортне помешкання, є все необхідне, домашня атмосфера, але спочатку було дуже холодно і знадобився час, щоб прогріти приміщення. дуже саодобались супер теплі ковдри. дякую за гостинність!

Hadde 3 netter på denne koselige hytta. Passet veldig godt for 1 voksen med 2 barn og hund. Vi hadde det vi trengte til matlaging og grilling. Koselig uteplass med morgensol og stor gressplen. Området er utrolig idyllisk og vertskapet var vennlige og imøtekommende Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

I stayed at Sidsel's cabin for 2 nights with my family including a little child and dog. After being guided to the cabin by Sidsel -as the cabin is not directly reachable by car- and being showed around, we had an excellent stay. Despite having some rainy days, the location gives you diverse possibilities to do as hiking, swimming, canoeing or -if the weather doesn't make you want to go outside- just staying around the chimney with a view on the lake. I can highly recommend staying at Sidsels place. Also the communication with her is very easy and friendly. Looking forward to stay there again :)

It was our second time enjoying this wonderful experience in this beautiful house! Again we had a very nice holiday in Narsnes at the Oslofjord! The communication with the hosts was very friendly and uncomplicated. There was some great improvements in the kitchen and bathroom concerning technical equipment like washing machine/tumble dryer and the induction stove top. The information about our cottage all corresponded to the description in the offer. We arrived at the cottage earlier and were able to check in before the scheduled time and checked out later then scheduled. That was really nice and helpful! From our cottage windows we had a great view over the Oslofjord. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We, 2 adults and 3 children (6,8,10 yrs) had enough space and everyone felt so comfortable. The place is located directly on the fjord and is very picturesque. All in all it was again worth the trip. 1000 thanks to the hosts!

Mijn vriend en ik zijn voor het eerst in Noorwegen geweest en ontzettend blij met deze accommodatie. Heerlijk rustig en prachtige omgeving. Anikken was goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel. Vooral erg behulpzaam en meedenkend, we kregen veel tips van haar. We hebben ons hier mede door de gastvriendelijkheid ontzettend thuis gevoeld. Het huisje was overigens ook schoon, gezellig en voorzien van alles wat je nodig had :)

Wir hatten einen unglaublich schöne Zeit in Marthas Hütte. Wenn man nach einer ruhigen Auszeit zur Erholung sucht, ist es perfekt!

We loved our stay at the cabin. The setting is peaceful and very beautiful. The cabin was comfy and warm, despite the cold weather outside. Everything was as listed and Thori was very responsive to any questions we had. We would love to re visit!

The cabin is beautifully located and decorated. The views are stunning and the surrounding woods are great to explore. The cabin was also very cozy and warms up nicely with the log burner on. There’s little electricity and no running water so this is definitely only for those who are good with outdoor living. It’s the perfect getaway if you want to connect with nature and escape civilisation for a while! My only advice would be to pack your things in a backpacking bag as the walk from the parking space to the cabin is steep and icy in the winter. Suitcases aren’t suitable.

Fantastisk sted! Vi havde svært ved at finde hytten, så vi brugte 1,5 time på at finde hytten. Selve hytten og stedet er helt fantastisk og kan klart anbefales. Vi var to børn og to voksne og der var alt vi skulle bruge i hytten. Grundet årstiden hentede vi vand i søen i dunke. Det fungerede fint og var lige til, da det kunne gøres fra badebroen. Vi kan klar anbefale hytten og naturen omkring!

We had a great time at the cabin. It had a very well equipped kitchen and a very spacious and cozy living room. We would love to come back another time!

Die Hütte ist nicht groß, aber es ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Die große überdachte Terrasse verdoppelt den verfügbaren Platz, wir haben auch bei Regenwetter draußen gesessen und die traumhafte Aussicht auf den Tyrifjord genossen, abends am Feuer in der Feuerschale. Der Kontakt zu Arild war immer freundlich, schnell und hilfreich. Wir haben 14 schöne Urlaubstage hier verbracht!
