Thank you so much Eva and Jonas for a wonderful peaceful stay. We really were lucky to have found this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, with no problems of other people overlooking as the jacuzzi is in the back garden, we spent every evening in there in the cold weather and enjoyed a nice clear sky full of stars and the moon. The surrounding area was beautiful, we took a short walk around to the lake and enjoyed the view and was very easy to get around in a vehicle. The place had all amenities we needed and felt right at home with the heating and lighting making it feel cozy. This is our first time in Sweden and we found the drive from Eva and Jonas place very easy from the airport (about 1 hr 20 mins) and it was very scenic along the way. Highly recommended!

Linus was erg behulpzaam en reageerde snel. De accommodatie was erg knus en schoon. Er was ook een hele mooie tuin. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad en raden het zeker aan!

Karin and Bruno were such warm and welcoming people! They were also so helpful and gave us a ride to and from the bus station with all our luggage and groceries, they showed us around the house and how to use or handle certain things. The place is amazing for a get-away with your friends, family, or even some romance too. It has both sauna, jacuzzi, open fireplace and an amazing view. We could not have asked for more! The only smaller unfortunate thing was that we discovered that the tap in the bathroom wasn’t working, but it wasn’t a big issue for us because we just used the tap in the kitchen instead (and it was going to be fixed shortly). Overall, my friends and I had a lovely experience and we would definitely like to come back <3

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Izabella. Sie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, hat uns vom Bus abgeholt und auch angeboten, uns zur Abreise wieder zum Bahnhof zu bringen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, zu Fuß braucht man aber ein kleines Stück, um zum Bus und zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu gelangen. Aber genau das möchte man ja, wenn man einen ruhigen Urlaubsort sucht. Wir würden im Sommer sehr gern wiederkommen. Es war wirklich toll und erholsam. Für sehr lange Aufenthalte ist die Cabin aber nichts, da es nur einen kleinen Reiskocher und eine Mikrowelle als Kochmöglichkeit gibt. :)

The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to Norrtälje by car, and rather close to nearby swimming spots. The kitchen was really well equipped, enabling us to cook meals on site without any compromises. The property consists of a main cabin with a double bed and a sofa bed, a separate guest cabin with a double bed and a single bed in the sauna cabin, which worked well for our group of friends, giving everyone some privacy. At the end of the day, it was really nice to heat up the sauna or pop in the hot tub, and sit on the large terrace enjoying the warm summer nights.

Wie hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank und viel Vorfreude für all die, die noch kommen werden. Besonders die Sauna und der Jacuzzi haben sich gelohnt. Liebe Grüße

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft! Von Anfang an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation war perfekt, und alles entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Die Unterkunft war sauber, gemütlich und ideal für eine erholsame Zeit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es nur weiterempfehlen!

Die Unterkunft war schön und Petra war eine freundliche Gastgeberin. Im Haus gab es alles was man braucht und die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Der Garten bot viel Platz und ließ genügend Raum für Privatsphäre.

Anna’s place is out of this world. We were a group of 10 adults and kids (and two dogs) and we had one of the best weeks of our lives. The house is amazing, comfortable and cleverly designed with the most amazing views of the water. With all the different decks and seating areas you can always find a spot in the sunshine. There are too many nice touches to list them all, but lounging in the many hammocks with a drink and enjoying the sunset is definitely one of them. We were really lucky with the weather so we made the most of the sea with many swims every day off both jetties and firing up the lovely wood fired sauna most evenings. We also explored the neighbouring islands in the kayaks and SUP board as well as a couple of outings in the boat. Anna was very attentive and easy to communicative with and was very understanding when our car broke down on arrival day and we were delayed. This really is a special place and we would love to come back one day.

It was a wonderful stay with our three kids at the summer house on Stora Aspön. It is such a peaceful island with the houses located in the premium spot of the island with sun on the porch all day and right next to the north bay. During our stay it was perfectly sheltered from the south and west winds, which allowed for relaxed swimming and all three kids learning not only to row but also sailing in the little kids dinghy. I definitely recommend to book the boats, which are also essential for shopping and exploring the seemingly endless world of islands. Eleonor and her family were very nice and helpful to us when we had some questions. Thank you very much for everything!

Lugnt och bra läge med gångavstånd till restauranger, affär, glaskiosk och badplatser. Marie och Peter är trevliga och omtänksamma värdar för boendet, vi hade tre sköna dagar och lär återkomma. Rekommenderas.

Perfect place to stay if you want somewhere quiet & beautiful but within east driving distance of Stockholm. The cabin had everything you could possibly want - more than in other cabins we’ve stayed at, including tablets for the dishwasher & washing machine, food such as pasta, plenty of spices etc. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. The garden is really big & there are footballs & goal posts behind the cabin which was great for my 7 year old. I’d recommend visiting Skavlotsvagan where there is a great place to sunbath & swim in the summer, plus lovely walks in the forest.

Wir haben unsere sehr spontan gebuchten zwei Nächte in dieser tollen Unterkunft sehr genoßen. Zwei sehr schöne, modern und gemütlich eingerichtete Hütten in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft halb im Wald gelegen. Auch mit 2 kleinen Kindern sehr bequem und praktisch mit einem tollen Trampolin im Garten. Mit dem Auto und der Fähre sehr unkompliziert zu erreichen. Am andern Ende der Insel gab es eine netten Strand und ein schön gelegenes Restaurant. Danke, dass wir so spontan kommen durften!

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans le logement de Christina, logement fidèle à la description, un petit paradis perdu en pleine nature. Nous étions à pied, mais, aimant marcher (20 minutes depuis l arret de bus) cela ne nous a posé aucun problème. Merci pour le prêt des vélos et du canoë qui nous ont permis de découvrir Vaxholm et les îles environnantes, différemment et de façon autonome ! Christina a été une hôte formidable. C était un plaisir !

This house is so beautiful and cute! It is beautifully decorated and each item has been picked especially for the house. There is a big garden, outdoor furniture, a sauna isn an separate little house, also very cosy! The jetty to swim is about 100 m from the house ( to share with guests from one other house). The house is well-equipped and has everything you need. There is a bus stop 100 m from the house and a rather big supermarket 2 bus stops away. We came by bus from Stockholm and is easily reachable with frequent buses. This is a great place to relax, swim, take walks or run. It is very quiet. The host is very friendly and answers very quickly.

Superbe emplacement au calme avec paddle et canoë pour explorer les environs. Très bien équipé: four à pizza, barbecue, bain chauffé au bois… Sur l’île nous avons pu cueillir des myrtilles et faire un clafoutis! Nous avons passé 5 jours au top!

The house is clean and the communication was great. It is perfect for 2 people. The area is quiet and has a lot of nature. A car is not necessary, but recommendable. We would stay there again at any time.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 12tägigen Aufenthalt, das kleine Häuschen ist ein Traum und es fehlte mir an nichts. Es war sehr sauber und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Stig und Inger waren sehr warmherzige Gastgeber und haben mir gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Lage ist super und über das Fahrrad war ich sehr froh! Vielen Dank für alles!

Vi hade en jättemysig vistelse i denna mysiga stuga på Ljusterö! Cecilia var väldigt hjälpsam och svarade snabbt. Rekommenderas!

The cabin is spacious, plenty of room for a large party although it was only the two of us there. It is in need of a bit of sprucing up. The outside furniture has seen better days but it served its purpose. There was everything we needed in the cabin including good WiFi and Netflix on the TV. The surroundings are wonderful, the lake beautiful and not another soul to be seen. We saw some wildlife, hare, eagles, a moose, frogs and lots of interesting bugs. It is very remote, you would need a car, closest shop is half an hour away. We decided to park and ride into Stockholm which was stress free and good value. We found the Swedish people to be very helpful and they are a beautiful race. We hope to go back with the family in the future as they would make better use of the lake that we did and enjoy the nature reserve bordering the property. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and being able to relax.

Sehr schöne Lage auf einer Insel auf der nur Max und Verwandte wohnen; toller Wald mit vielen kleinen Stränden und gemütlichen Plätzen zum Chillen, stimmungsvolles, geschmackvolles, einfaches Häuschen, es ist genau wie von Max beschrieben: Toilette ausserhalb, keine Dusche, aber uns hat es nicht gestört, da Haus sehr authentisch war; es gibt Alternativen auf der Insel mit Bad, die man beim gleichen Gastgeber buchen kann. Max ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Kommunikation hat perfekt geklappt

Wir haben als größere Familie mit mehreren Kindern eine Woche in Alexanders Haus verbracht und wunderschöne Tage gehabt. Wir sind mit der Fähre von Stockholm angereist, was sehr einfach geht. Vom Fähranleger sind es dann noch ca 150 m zum Haus. Alex hat uns in Empfang genommen und mit dem Gepäck geholfen (der Weg ist ein bisschen steil und steinig). Das Haus ist sehr schön, alles war super sauber und genau so wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Es gibt schöne Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse mit Feuerstelle, Grill und Pizzaofen. Die Kinder hatten großen Spaß mit dem Pool und die Erwachsenen haben in der Sauna entspannt. Auch die Insel ist abwechslungsreich: es gibt sehr schöne kleine Badestrände, Felsen mit fantastischer Aussicht auf den Schärengarten und einen kleinen Wald voller Blau- und Preiselbeeren. Alex war bei jeder Frage schnell erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, nur Bettwäsche und Handtücher mussten wir dann doch selbst mitbringen (wir waren allerdings auch insgesamt 10 Leute). Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert- wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen!

Wir haben das Haus sehr genossen - der Blick und die Ausstrahlung des Hauses machen es einem schwer, das Haus auch wirklich mal zu verlassen ;-) Wenn man dann etwas unternehmen möchte, ist man super gut mit der Roslagsbanan angebunden und schnell in Stockholm oder den Schären (Tipp: unbedingt die SL App installieren - analoge Tickets sind sehr kompliziertzu besorgenund mit der App läuft alles problemlos). Auto braucht man eigentlich nur zum Einkauf. Wir wohnen an einer verkehrsreichen Kreuzung - und die Ruhe war wunderbar! Sehr gern wieder : -) - danke an Mats
