Easily accomodated our large group with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the large living room/dining room space for us to gather. Plenty of kitchen equipment for us to prepare meals and loved the extra sink and bar area for food prep. The fake fireplace was great with the temperatures outside below freezing. Lovely back wooded area with the brook to see from the back porch. Hosts were quick to respond and their home was beautiful.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was a little nervous because I’d heard so many cautionary tales. But the stay was really wonderful and I had nothing to worry about. The house is new, clean, comfortable, charming, in a quiet neighborhood, and well located to see all of the sights in Cooperstown and the surrounding area. The host is very responsive and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great stay at this remote home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. The town of Delhi is just about 7 miles away and had some great little stores. We loved our breakfast at the Blue Bee. The house had nice amenities and very soft, plush towels.

The location is fantastic and the amenities are plentiful! A wonderful house for gathering with friends and family. There are 6 bedrooms, four of which have an attached full bathroom. The basement area was great with options to play air hockey, ping pong, or hook up a gaming console to the large screen TV. The hosts were very responsive and flexible, particularly when it came to checking in and out. To future guests with pets: this house is in the wilderness, so be prepared to check your pups for ticks.

Christine was the kindest, most communicative host I have encountered! She was helpful and available when we had questions. The home itself is beautiful and has a lovely view of the lake. We enjoyed watching the fall foliage while we sipped our coffee and relaxed. The first night was warm enough for us to use the patio and fire pit, which was so peaceful. We were a bit late in the season to utilize the lake, but I imagine this would be a great spot for lake activities in the warmer weather, too. Easy drive to downtown Cooperstown and any destinations we traveled to. Parking directions were clear and easy to follow.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Home Base Airbnb while visiting our son at SUNY Oneonta College for family weekend. We feel right at home. The space was not only cozy and clean but also beautifully decorated, reflecting the charm of the area. Jaynee and her family made us feel right at home. Our stay was super relaxing and enjoyable. The property had gorgeous views and the kids loved the cows. The space had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Dan took our family on a ride through the property to see the wild life and views. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back !

This unit was very clean and well suited with everything needed. While staying in a barn, it didn’t feel like one as it was very new and updated with a modern feel. The host Mike was very friendly and even showed us around his barn with the animals.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

Michael was extremely helpful and responsive. I had a couple of questions during my stay and he responded quickly and kindly. The location was fine for my purpose in the area. It’s a gem of a place and checked all the boxes for me.

It really is like being at home. It is a beautiful cabin, surrounded by lots of snow and lots of pine trees. lots of towels and lots of blankets. We really had a great time, and Myrna and Mike, they are really great and very friendly. one hundred percent recommendable

We had a wonderful stay on Gemma’s property and felt right at home. The kids loved feeding the farm animals — a total highlight!! Gemma generously provided us with an array of breakfast items, which really made for lovely mornings. We would absolutely return!

Maryanne’s place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! It was cozy, quiet, and very clean. She had the fridge stocked with goodies, and delicious banana bread. There were trails on the property that made for a perfect morning walk. I would highly recommend if traveling to the Cooperstown area.

Sharon and Charlie were very welcoming. They made sure to explain everything, answer any questions we may have. I think the place is a beautiful serene location - especially if you're lucky enough to visit during the summer. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the hustle of the city and want some quiet time.

We wanted a quiet winter escape to do some creative work away from distractions, and couldn't have asked for anything better. This cabin is gorgeous, charming, well-decorated, and very comfortable.. the kitchen is well-stocked and spacious, they provided all the firewood we needed, and even the stereo speakers were top-notch. Families of deer wandered by in the snow, hawks hung out in the treetops, and the overall sense of peace was amazing. We hope to come back in the summer -- thank you for the perfect cozy getaway.

Courtney’s place was wonderful! It’s on a private lot and has beautiful surroundings! There is a nice downtown about 15 minutes away in case you need anything. About 45-50 minutes from the skiing mountains. The house was spacious, beds were comfortable. There was a minor issue when we first arrived that Courtney had fixed right away. We appreciated her communication and ability to fix it quickly! We would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for baseball and wanted a place we could get away and relax between games. It was an easy ride to the ball park and Cooperstown. We absolutely loved the location, it was such a great spot to getaway. My dog had the week of her life swimming every chance she got and my kids loved the fishing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us Daniel. We loved it!

Laura’s place was the four C’s: clean, cozy, charming and comfortable. It was the perfect place for disconnecting and resetting. The place was easy to find and was better than the pictures showed. The place was private, clean and had great energy. Laura was an exceptional host! Anything you could think of needing was there. We loved the record player and binoculars for bird watching. If you want to bring groceries and cook you can, or if you want to eat out she has a host (pun intended) of options. We really appreciated how thoughtful the cabin was put together with clear, concise and friendly instructions. The loft space was great for mindfulness and journaling. The natural light that shines into the cabin was such a joy to wake up to. Laura was also extremely responsive and helpful. There’s a guidebook that includes things to do, know and eat around the area which was very much welcomed. Book this place, you won’t regret it! The location is private but still close enough to town

We had a great stay in the cabin. We had a lot of snow and wind, but thanks to the woodfire heater, we stayed comfortably warm throughout. Amazing surroundings, very private and great to disconnect. Would highly recommend!
