Gorgeous getaway less than 15 minutes from the mountain. The home was simple, yet just what our family needed. We were first a little surprised by the expense of the two night stay, but found that it was totally "worth it" due to the location, space inside the house, and most especially the hot tub and sauna. Instructions were clear and our stay was great. A rare find, we highly recommend the A frame House in Okemo. The only two areas for improvement are not the fault of the owners, and I am not sure that they could be improved- first off is the wildlife. It is in the middle of the woods, there will be mice. The bear box was also frustrating to throw the trash away as the snow made it difficult to access. The other "issue" was the distance from the car to the home. Again, the snow made loading the car/house a little difficult. We got over both of these issues, loved the house, and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much!

Great family trip at a beautiful cabin!

Absolutely charming cabin! We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub, cooking meals in the kitchen, and using the home as a base to ski and explore Vermont! It was snowy when we went, and we would definitely recommend AWD for getting up the driveway, but Nicole was very helpful in making sure it was plowed and sanded.

My family loved the peaceful and inviting feel of the cabin and fireplace, the after dinner hottub dips were a treat, and we had access to all the necessities. Would 100% return again.

We had a great weekend stay for a ski trip. The house was great, plenty of places to sleep, the kitchen well-equipped, the Jacuzzi was a welcome respite at the end of the day. John was incredibly helpful and super easy to work with. We will come back again.

There are so many highlights: (1) animal farms, (2) the hot tub at night and a view of the moon are to die for, (3) so secluded and (4) a very nice supermarket near by (Riverbend market)

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It has been on our bucket list for a few years now and everything exceeded our expectations. Perfect location and not too far from home for a quiet family weekend getaway. Our stay was so cozy during a chilly NH winter weekend and we LOVED the gas fireplace! The kitchen was extremely well equipped for all of our cooking and baking needs. All of the local food and activity recommendations from the fantastic hosts were also incredible! We also are so grateful to have been able to share our weekend getaway with our two dogs and they had the sweetest welcome treats! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and we really hope to return again someday! This Airbnb honestly is the perfect spot any time of year! Don’t delay booking your stay here - it’s truly worth it!

Brigid’s place is exactly what we were looking for. The views of the mountains and meadows is something special. If you’re looking for a peaceful rustic Vermont getaway, it doesn’t get better than this. Our dog Joy loved the freedom of roaming the 27 acres of fields.

We had an awesome getaway at Kevin and Lesley’s cabin! This was our last little getaway before we get married this fall and it was the perfect unplugged retreat to feel connected going into the stressful time before the wedding. The cabin is cozy, the bathroom is adequate and sort of surprisingly not as buggy as it could have been, and the porch was my favorite spot to feel connected to nature. Kevin was very communicative and the instructions in the cabin were very clear. Luce’s lookout was amazing at the top and a really great recommendation by our hosts. We would definitely go back!

Best Vacation ever, Was very welcoming had a great trip!

What wonderful stay. It's got enough sleep space for a small family but his time it was just me by myself. All the comforts needed and extras including snacks and even a surprise delivery of homemade muffins! The area is wonderful. This was my first time in Vermont. The trails are gorgeous. Had dinner at the Rustic Chicken and i tell you what, it was like eating in the home of a very large family. Everyone knew each other and it was hard not to get roped into the discussions. Thank you, L+T, for the stay. I'll be back in the area soon!

Incredible hosts. Wonderful, bucolic area. A great place for a peaceful, refreshing getaway. Great proximity to a variety of Vermont activities, including Skiing, Snowmobiling, Hiking, Sugar Houses, Country Stores, and more! A super cozy and well-equipped cabin. Has everything you might need for a getaway, and then some! Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a cute a cozy AirBnB. You can see Rumney Rocks from the back deck--just minutes away. It's a great place to stay with lots to do in the White Mountains in the winter, spring, summer, or fall.

Rik is a phenomenal host and made every detail of our stay fantastic from beginning to end, starting from the warm friendly greeting with thoughtful home-baked scrumptious bread to the intricate woodwork and stone sculpting details all throughout the cabin (and outside!). Our family (including our 2-yr old, 5-yr old + chihuahua) had a ton of imaginative wood forest / “stone cave” themed adventures both inside and outside the cabin - no need for TV cartoons or screens to keep the kids distracted with so much to explore! In addition to the lovely, quiet views as well as warm, cozy fireplace, the kids loved exploring the big, climbable sculpture before we trekked onward to the impressive tree houses nearby on the property. We normally do an annual winter Vermont cabin trip and this one far exceeded our expectations as rare find. Big thank you again for such a memorable experience for our family, Rik, and we look forward to visiting again soon!!

Awesome place in a great area really easy to get to Killington if u want to ski. The cabin is super peaceful and private. Would highly recommend this place for a weekend , or even longer.

We had a great time! This is the place to go if you’re looking for some secluded quiet time to relax. We enjoyed walking every day and relaxing by the wood stove at night. The kitchen had all the amenities needed for us to make meals at the cabin. We hope to go back in the warmer weather to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities that the area has to offer. All around amazing stay and experience!

Beautiful cabin in the woods , nestled at the foothills of the mountains, we went around Peak Foilage in early October and couldn't have asked for better weather and accomodations. Elizabeth, an excellent host, Reccomended some people hikes and look out points by the river, and surprised us with breakfast goodies on a Sunday morning!! Looking forward to be back and would definitely recommend to others as well

This cabin is an exceptional place to stay. The location is breathtaking, with a stunning view and peaceful surroundings. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Additionally, it is conveniently located near Killington Ski Area, approximately a 45-minute drive away. Overall, it is a truly stunning place to stay. Great little cozy cabin with spectacular mountain views. loved the kitchen. Central to what we wanted. Easy drive to Okemo mountain and town of Ludlow. Also Vermont country store. Kim P is the ultimate host. Very knowledgeable about the area and will do any to make you feel at home. Fast communication. Great place to stay.
