My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This is a beautiful, peaceful property, with comfortable furniture and plush beds. Pete went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

Liz’s place was absolutely beautiful, its likes a nice country get away and i loved it! the place itself is so amazing and the surrounding property is so gorgeous. Liz was very helpful giving local recommendations of things to do in the area. Overall it was an amazing stay!

Beautiful home!! Great amenities. No television but we stayed busy with games which was fun! Hot tub was enjoyable and area was shoveled/cleared from snow when we arrived. Lots of space for a big family or for multiple families to stay comfortably, just make sure you out correct # of guests. Host I very responsive to messages and was accommodating. Will return if in area again!

My stay at the Grant’s Cabin was fabulous. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful ambiance and breathtaking views of the lake had us in awe. The house itself was immaculate—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending our mornings on the deck, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise over the water. The private dock was a fantastic bonus, allowing us easy access to kayaking from the property. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure every detail was perfect, from the comfortable linens to helpful local recommendations. If you’re looking for a serene escape from city life, this lake house is the perfect spot. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to come back!

my second stay and it was great once again.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Very cozy place with lots to do around. As mentioned in the other reviews, there is some noise early in the morning, but we didn’t find it too bad at all. The highlights were definitely the incredibly comfy beds and the hot tub, which made for a truly relaxing experience!

We had such a wonderful experience staying with Simona and her husband! From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms. Their house is absolutely stunning—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful details everywhere you look. The natural lighting is fantastic, and the view from the big windows overlooking the lake truly made our trip special. Simona and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Her husband even cleared a path for us to head out ice fishing on the lake next door! He was so kind to check in on us while we were out there, and when it was time to leave, our car wouldn’t start. Thankfully, Simona and her husband jumped right in to help us out. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Just had an amazing experience at an Airbnb stay. The owner was incredibly responsive and friendly, always going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. From thoughtful touches to quick communication, they truly made the stay exceptional. Highly recommend

This was our second stay here. We love the location (less than 100 yards from the multi-trail system). It is within minutes to the mountain, and also a nice walkable distance to the old village. The actual space is very comfortable, and the woodstove is such a bonus. It's a great place to stay for active couples!

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

Mike and Maria have created an amazing getaway. The photos (which are amazing) still do not do this place justice. Mike and Maria are amazing hosts, who are very helpful and quick to respond. This place is a peaceful, serine and beautiful getaway for any group or couple. The cabin and amenities are top notch. We will definately be back soon and look forward to dealing with Mike and Maria again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

I went to Zoe’s place to visit Algonquin Park with my girlfriend and we wanted something quite and cozy : it was PERFECT. Zoe is really kind and super flexible and her dog Kuma is a super kind and lovely dog ! I definitely recommend her place !

Sandra is one of the best and most intentional hosts we've encountered. The cabin has every single thing you would need for your stay - from puzzles to paper plates. Not only was the cabin itself well-stocked with essentials like pillows, blankets, ample water, chargers, but there were so many lovely touches too - we were welcomed with fresh fruit, flowers and cute little snacks. Our dog had a designated separate area with plush bed and pillows, and was given a big bag of treats as a welcome gift. The property is extended and extremely quiet and private. Another great part was the handiness and and cleanliness of the incinerator toilet/outhouse. Spotless and effective. While there we actually used the generator sparingly as we enjoyed the powerful wood stove and BBQ and mood lighting. I was telling all of my coworkers how fearful I was of glamping LOL but at the end I literally did not want to leave to go back to the city. We will book again and recommend. Thank you, Sandra!!!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.
