i would definitely stay here again, such a cute and peaceful place to relax, as well as many things to do locally and close to the little towns of Battle Lake where there is a grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy and a fantastic ice cream shop! The cabin was fully equipped with everything you would need, and was so cozy. Look forward to another stay there.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Place was great and had everything we needed! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you for letting us into your home! One thing I noticed is the discrepancy on the check in time. When I booked the reservation it said 3pm however I believe the actual time was 4pm. Denise was very communicative regarding this and we worked out the details.

We had a great weekend away and really appreciated the ramp accessibility for my dad, who uses a 4 wheel walker. Great hospitality and beautiful lake!

My family and I stayed for about 5 days. It was an amazing time! The cabin was perfect! The fishing was great! This was a great experience and we plan to come back again!

Charming cottage on the lake. We enjoyed our brief visit. Wonderfully outfitted with everything you need and some extras. The kids loved the beach and outside shower. I found the kitchen well appointed for cooking. We loved the beach vibe and highly recommend. It was also exceptionally clean!!!

Gary and Rea were excellent hosts. Everything was clean and amenities plentiful. We had a very nice time. New Air conditioning units were very welcome as we had hot humid weather while we were there. Overall a great place to get away and relax.

We loved our stay. Brian's cabin was exactly the experience we were hoping for. The retro feel of the cabin made me recall fond memories of similar cabins my family stayed in decades ago. Don't change a thing.

Great lake. Water is as clear as the photos show. The beach area was great for the kids. Very private feel to the place. Excellent outdoor seating- a great place to gather. Beds were comfortable. Adequate supplies provided. Emily had excellent communication throughout the entire process. We had a great vacation!

Nice updated clean cabin with everything you need. Great sandy beach for the kids with slides, paddle boats, lily pad, kayak and more.

Perfect for our family of 5 (Mom, Dad, & 3 boys). We brought our kayaks and the kids were out on the lake every day fishing or just kayaking. Decent fishing in the immediate area of the dock. We caught Pike, Bass, and pan fish each time we were out. Cabin was cozy and quiet and having access to the garage area was awesome for storing gear and drying out wet water shoes and cloths. Short drive to other lakes as we rented a pontoon at Shady Grove Resort (Thank You!!!) and had a blast fishing and boating on Rush Lake. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and provided lots of area info. If your looking for a quiet getaway, away from busy areas this is the place. Thank You Troopers Landing!

I was very impressed with my stay at Hockett Hollow. It was very nice and clean. Everything was easy to access. I was on a long work trip, and was able to do my laundry at the airbnb, which was very handy.

We could not have loved the cottage more, it was perfect for our family! The lake is clear and clean and the house is just as described with lots of character. I hope we will be back!

Doug's place is the perfect lake getaway for folks that need a little space. Great kitchen and living area, plenty of beds and places for people to sleep, lots of fun games, video games, books, and things to do in the house. TVs in almost every room as well. It's right on the lake and we did catch a few fish the one brief period we went out on the ice. Doug is very responsive to messages and very easy going when it comes to check-in and check-out. The house was perfect for what we needed, a nice weekend getaway for our family. If you are thinking about staying here, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

It was a great 3 bedroom cabin. Close to State Park and town with great restaurants. Spent one day in Fergus Falls with lots of fun shopping and places to eat. The beach was very rocky at the cabin, so make sure and bring water shoes.

This is an amazing home with lots of space! The decor is fabulous and inviting! It was welcoming and provides space to be together and for everyone to be able to have time away! Comfy beds, great water temperature, and everything in the kitchen that could be needed! The entry is a special space that everyone needs to experience! I would definitely recommend!

Loved staying here for our annual girls weekend. The house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved playing games in the sun room area. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating! Would 100% stay here again.

The property was very beautiful and the house was as described- a spacious, comfortable home to spend time with a large group of 14! There were multiple spaces for everyone to relax, the kitchen was large enough for multiple cooks at one time, and every bedroom was spread out from each other with good privacy. We would be happy to stay here again!

This place is amazing! So awesome to have en suite bathrooms for every room! Clean and spacious! The view is second to none as you are steps from the water/beach! Cordell was very communicative prior to us arriving. When there was a vary small issue Cordell rectified it immediately and communicated with me at all points! Book it now!

We traveled to Dent for a sibling and spouse reunion. There were 15 adults and 1 child. There was more than enough room for our group. One bedroom went unused. There was lots of seating inside and out. No need to bring lawn chairs. We ate every meal at the house. It had all the kitchen gear needed to cook, bake and grill. We rented their pontoon and used it frequently for leisurely rides around Silent Lake and for fishing. It was mid-September, so we were often the only boat on the lake. There we several float items in the garage which we didn't use but were available to us. We grocery shopped at the Perham Central Market 22 min from the home. We reached out to the host once during our stay with a question and they responded quickly. Family was all in agreement that we would go back. Great central location for my family that came from Montana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nebraska. There are more good things I would say but feedback space is limited. I would recommend this home.

This wonderful 5 bedroom family vacation home easily exceeded our expectations. The outside had been recently painted the traditional Norwegian red with white trim. There are many other Norwegian features in this vacation home built by Norwegian-Americans. The beds were all very comfortable. The floors seemed to have been recently refurbished. The kitchen was large and well appointed, with almost anything available one might need for cooking. And, best of all, the home is right on the water with great views of the sunset, when that is available. Our group of 8 hopes to return soon!

We stayed in the 100-year-old lodge. Our group, ranging from 3 to 75, enjoyed all the activities, especially the water toys. The long dining room table allowed us to sit together as a family for each meal. Having six bathrooms was appreciated by all. We will be returning.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sara’s AirBNB! It was immaculately clean, which I so appreciated! The views were incredible and we loved sitting out by the water. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there and in great quality. Thank you Sara for being a part of our vacation!
