Incredible setting. Peaceful, stunning surroundings. We stargazed at night and listened to the sounds of the birds and the bush in awe. The only shame is we stayed too little. We will be back!

Going to Fonteinskloof is like spending time with family. William and Michael are always ready with a warm and friendly welcome. Lots to do and see on the farm........but it is also ideal to just put your feet up, enjoy the amazing views and sparkling pool and watch the game up closely. PS!! You can also watch the games (footy, rugby, cricket etc) in the games room which has a fusebal and pool table. There is also a tennis court close to the cottages. We stayed in cottage no. 2 which was perfect for my wife, daughter and I. Beds are super comfortable and the cottage itself is quite spacious as is the bathroom area. It has a nice patio with a braai area, which we utilized to the full. Remember to bring carrots too - to feed the goats!!. This was not our first time at Fonteinskloof and definitely won't be the last.

We had the best stay! Michael was super friendly and helpful! We loved the location, close enough to town but far enough to feel like a getaway. Best place for a family getaway on a summers day and fun things in the evening such as braaing and games room which is decked out! Definitely going back

What a beautiful cottage, immaculately clean and very well kitted out with everything you might need. It's in a quiet street in central Hermanus a short walk to the cliff path, shops and restaurants. Marc was so helpful with check in and really responsive whenever we had any questions. Highly recommended as a base in Hermanus

We had a fantastic stay in Cottage 5 in mid-June, it was lovely and cosy for family of 3. The fire place kept us warm and there was so much to do on the farm to keep a little one busy, short hikes, jungle gym, safe place to ride up and down on a bicycle. We had a lovely game trip around the farm by Michael, the farm manager. Great friendly host by Michael, always keen to chat and share story's about the farm animals. We did a short trip into Swellendam dam, which was very memorable as well. We will definitely be back with more friends and family.

This place is an absolute gem!!!! we felt at home right away, Carin, his husband and their team ( specially Angel!) are a bless. They are incredibly nice and incredibly welcoming. We traveled with our 6 months old Sofie, and we felt extremely safe, cared of, cozy and peaceful. The place itself is wonderful: a family house and a finca, with a very well maintained garden and natural pool. They have many offerings ( like laundry, wine tasting from their own wines, cheese platters,…) we did all and were very satisfied. The chalet itself is very well equipped, and its sparking clean. We found it outstanding service the fact that they clean it every day, make the bed and get the trash out. Not expected and very appreciated. They are going beyond the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, and we truly did. Additionally, it felt VERY safe, which was important for us coming with our little one. Thank you so much Carin for making us feel at home. we will surely come back when Sofie walks!

Beautiful location and great hospitality. This place comes as advertised if you are looking for a relaxing stay in an area where there is plenty to do. While we didn't need much during our stay, Carin was available to help with anything needed and her place is gorgeous! Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place just outside Franschoek!

Amazing location with a cottage providing rustic charm. Several hikes to beautiful vistas and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the sunset. Nearest supermarket is 17km away, so be sure to bring everything with you. Lovely pond for zip line and canoe activities
