We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We liked it so much that we hope to be back soon. The place was as described. It was roomy and squeaky clean. It had everything you could possibly need or want.

We used this place for a weekend V-day getaway and it was perfect. Quiet, secluded, reasonably priced, peaceful, and a perfect spot for a little getaway. We only saw 2 cars drive past the property the entire weekend. My only word of causion is that the drivway is STEEEP! If there was some snow it would have been very hard to get up I think. Hottub was nice and clean as promised. Woodshed had run out of wood but we had brought a few logs so it was no issue for us. The deck to watch the sunset was perfect, the deck to eat breakfast outside was perfect. This property seems like it used to be a residents and it interesting to see how it is payed out on the hill. We ended up going to a short trailhead about 20-30 mins away called pleasant grove Rec area and it was a surprisingly cool short trail with a swinging bridge and some neat things to explore. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you both.

A quiet and peaceful oasis was what I wanted for my birthday, and that’s exactly what this location was. It felt secluded with an amazing view of the lake that we were able watch to unwind and spend time as a family. The biggest draw initially was the hot tub, but we didn’t even end up using it as the location was just so relaxing already. There was a large sign for the cabin just before the driveway so it was easy to find, and Dale Hollow Pizza was a no-stress dinner with great food and plenty of leftovers. Very grateful to this host for sharing such a wonderful location with Airbnb. We were not disturbed at all by any neighbors, so I imagine if you’re a polite, decent, and respectful guest that you won’t see anyone in the area unless you choose to. Very happy with how peaceful and quiet this area is.

This is a great location close enough to town but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, and the home is wonderful for larger groups. The kitchen has everything you need and then some! With 4 1/2 bathrooms there is never a line. The beds are comfortable and there is space in every room to add a cot or baby bed if needed. Ashley is a great host and is quick to respond to all questions and fixed any concerns we had during our stay. This was our second time staying here and we had a wonderful stay once again.

I gave 5 stars because I really enjoyed the chalet and thought it was a great location and enjoyed the scenery. However, I did not like that it is advertised as a 3 bedroom and the price is displayed as one thing but after you book, you find out that the 3rd bedroom is locked and can be opened for an extra fee. To me that's Bush league. I have no problem if it is clearly stated as a 2 bedroom with an optional 3rd for an upcharge. At least make that clear from the listing. Not after I book and then send me a message that the 3 bedroom place I just paid for is actually 2 unless I pay a fee. Maybe it was in the fine print, but I doubt it. Either way it wasn't glaringly obvious. To me it's a bit shady and bordering false advertising.

This is our 4th year visiting this location and it never disappoints! This year was filled with beautiful and functional updates and upgrades like the new back deck and cold plunge near the sauna. The hosts were so friendly and helpful accommodating our specific needs. The property and location are truly special.

This was our second stay here. Just like the first time, everything was clean, neat and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for the family. The downstairs has plenty to keep the kids happy and occupied l. The house is in a great location and has an absolutely stunning setting. Susan was great to work with, super responsive and friendly. This really is the perfect place for a quiet getaway.

The cabin was perfect for our month long stay. It's almost at the end of a dead end so very peaceful and quiet. And the sunsets overlooking the lake were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have cleaning supplies. George and Sandy were great hosts! Always quick to respond and had a lot of good recommendations. They even brought us some fresh eggs from their chickens. Would definitely stay again!

Can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb. Elizabeth made it very easy from the booking process to check in. We had plenty of room for a group of 8 on our golf trip. Being minutes from places like Heatherhurst, Stonehenge and Druid Hills made this stay easy and relaxing. Thank you Elizabeth!

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

This place exceeded my expectations. Dan and Jo were so friendly and helpful. The "nest" felt exactly that way. The property is gorgeous. The miniature horses are adorable. I will return!

We had four people staying in the condo, it was a perfectly sized space to accommodate us. It was extremely clean, and we had everything we needed for the weekend. We did bring our own snacks and food to prepare meals, which I would recommend doing! We really appreciated seeing staff being mindful and practicing precautions the entire stay. When we arrived, we did have to wait about an hour after check-in as it wasn’t ready yet. And our wristband/keycards weren’t properly activated so they sent a maintenance person to fix that, who was very helpful. We got to see two baby raccoons from the back porch as soon as we arrived though, so we didn’t mind. Would highly recommend this stay for a quiet getaway!! We had a great time.

A great host who responds nearly immediately. The condo was just as described. Very clean and spacious for a one BR unit.

We absolutely loved staying at Dennis’s place! From the peaceful setting to the tremendous views from the deck, everything was fantastic. The house was well-stocked with everything you would need. The proximity to great hiking spots was something we very much enjoyed. Dennis could not have been more responsive and we look forward to staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth’s condo. Perfect location to everything. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Plan to stay again on our next visit to the area.

Had a great stay while I was there it is in a great area and there are stores and many of things close by, i felt at home. I will deff be staying again
