There’s not enough good words in the dictionary I could use to describe how wonderful our stay was. Before we even arrived, Vicky helped us with recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and instructions for the property including directions incase we got lost! Everyone down to the dog was thought of. The beds were very comfy and the house was spotless. Vicky left the light on for us as we arrived in the evening and the place was toasty and warm inside. Perfect for the cold evening. There wasn’t anything we needed it was all thought of, travel cot for the baby, high chair and milk in the fridge. Whether it was winter or summer this is the perfect family get away. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the outdoors in summer. Highly recommend the barn. Thank you for making our daughter’s first birthday so memorable.

Had a lovely stay at the Barn, it was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. We didn’t need to contact the owner due to the instructions being simple and clear. We were lucky with the March weather so managed to get the outdoor cushions out and sat in glorious sunshine overlooking the surrounding countryside. Our dog was secure and safe roaming around the grounds which meant we could relax without worry while he sniffed about and watched the wildlife. The evening was clear and without any light pollution we were blessed with a glorious view of the nights sky, something we aren’t normally used to. All in all, a relaxing couple of nights in complete comfort.

My second stay here, a beautiful cottage in a quiet village. Pub shop and cafe, all within a 3 minute walk and all excellent. Lovely bed linens and shower, perfect retreat thank you.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous home for the weekend. A fantastic, homely venue to allow for 4 families to meet up in a child friendly, warming family home. Agnus was a super helpful host and we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return next year! Many thanks!

Our group of five couples stayed here for a weekend reunion and this large house was ideal for our needs. The large kitchen was really well equipped for prep, cooking and eating (although everything initially took a some finding as there are so many cupboards!) and the two tables together made a great eating area. The main sitting room is huge and everyone felt the bedrooms were comfortable. We didn't use the garden at all, it was small relative to the size of the house but there are plenty of lanes and paths locally to walk on. We found plenty to do and a choice of places to eat within driving distance we managed to fit 5 cars into the parking area although it was a tight squeeze. Anjala was quick to respond to our only query during the weekend and overall, we'd have no hesitation about recommending this property for a weekend stay for a large group.

Jo is a fantastic host and very quick to respond (I wasn't sure whether I needed a late check-out and she was very amenable to being flexible about this subject to no guests arriving the next day). The kitchen is very well-stocked and perfect for cooking and entertaining (lots of fabulous serving ware). The surrounding area is quite stunning and the only downside is that I could not stay for longer.

Bex and Kieran were such a lovely couple. Bex was super easy to communicate with and fast to reply with any questions I had which I really appreciated. The space is clean and cosy, perfect for up to two people.. she accommodated myself and my cat. There’s also a family of various pets including the friendliest chickens and sheep I’ve ever met! The location is great if you’re driving.. you’re super close to Bicester and other places. Thank you both

stunning location, central to lots of beautiful places in the heart of the cotswolds. house was super tidy and clean. nice little touches to make you feel right at home.
