Neil's place is magical and a perfectplace to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our family. The whole home is so well kept, from the beautiful gardens to the treasures and novalties throughout the house. It was homely and artistic at the same time, which was amazing. They obviously take great pride in hosting and everything was thought of from plenty of the basics to the little things like umbrellas, fluffy cushions, books, cds, bath robes, all the way down to a hand juicer for our lemons. The kids loved the kayaks and we loved the peace and quiet. You couldn't ask for more and we will definitely book again. Thank you so much!

Wonderful place - comfortable and clean. Especially the bed was high quality as advertised. It was easy to get to CBD and nice to go jogging at the foreshore.

This place is stunning, clean and very cozy. Such a great spot for a bit of peace of quiet but not too far away from everything else. Would recommend to anyone!

Second stay at the Mandalay and just as great as the first. The house is fantastic, the views down the creek to the sea from the balcony are wonderful. Deborah was extremely helpful and always on hand if we needed anything.

Had a lovely stay at Pepper. Was surprised how quiet the neighbourhood was. Bed was very comfortable, great shower, everything clean and back deck was so enjoyable with a pleasant breeze to keep us cool. The welcome snacks and drinks were a nice surprise. We were a bit worried there were no screens but we were able to leave a bedroom window open at night without any insect issues. Thanks Cassie for a lovely stay.

George is a wonderful and gracious host! His place has everything you need in a private setting. His communications are very informative, making everything from checking in to checking out very easy. Thanks again George for making our stay wonderful.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane, you would struggle to find a something better than Russell’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The pool was also a nice bonus. Russell and Lisa were great hosts, very responsive and helpful.

Walking distance to coffee shops, public transport right outside the door and ample parking. The house itself is beautifully renovated throughout, with a spacious layout, two well sized living areas and an enclosed backyard with ample undercover and grass area. The kitchen is exceptionally stocked with all that you could possibly need and you can easily cater for large numbers. Host was attentive and communication was excellent. Wynnum is such a lovely area and close proximity to the motorway for both north and south and minutes from the cbd. Wynnum also has a train station which is easily accessible by taking the bus that stops outside the property. All in all, a great place to stay no matter the occasion. Thank you.

We encountered some quirks which were tricky to sort due it being the Easter long weekend. One was definitely user error related to the Smeg oven. Never had to turn the timer on to get an oven to actually work before! The beds were comfy, nice to have a washing machine, outdoor area very nice to hang out together, kitchen was adequately equipped just. We entertained family (new parents) in the evenings. Perhaps our expectations were a bit high related to what we took to be a gourmet kitchen. On balance, it was a very nice place to stay and to host family over Easter.

From beginning to end Christine and her home were amazing. We will definitely stay here again when visit our daughter in Australia. The house was set up perfectly with linens and toiletries, etc. The pictures that are on the website do not do the house justice in my opinion. It is much better than described. Sitting on the back deck enjoying breakfast lunch or dinner is amazing. It is just a short walk to the sound. The town and restaurants are walkable. If you’re staying for an extended period of time, there is a wonderful gym and pull that you can join while you’re there which is also amazing. I highly suggest if you are booking house near Brisbane this is the house you should seriously consider. Jack & Jodi
