This was a perfect little getaway code to home. Was able to enjoy nature and slow down. We will return!

We were on a trip from Chicago to Dallas with our kids and 2 grandkids (and three dogs!) The cottage was exactly what we expected and wanted. Clean, cozy, peaceful and comfortable. If you are over 6’ tall, plan on sleeping downstairs! My grandkids loved the loft!!

It was exactly as we expected. The pictures were just as described. No surprises. Deck and surroundings were beautiful. Very clean with nice amenities. Do not be concerned about regular tenant on lower level (quiet, do not know he is there). Five miles from everything. Right by main roads and interstate.

Elisa and Bob's place was even better than the pictures! Gorgeous wood cabin with everything we needed. The hospitality of homemade blueberry bread and fresh chicken eggs was so kind and lovely. An extra gift as we explored the area and Diamond Cave. The only part that some people may care about is that the water does have a strong sulfur smell and there is a rooster next door that crows quite early. We had ear plugs for the rooster and are familiar with sulfur well water. We will absolutely be back and we loved having such a beautiful and natural cabin to comfortably stay in for future visits. Elisa and Bob make it easy to love staying there. Thank you so much!!

This is a must-stay for those of us that are fine with farm life, comfortably rustic accommodations, nature, and being a little remote. Connie was fantastic about communication and she met me upon my arrival to show me around. She's a wealth of knowledge about that area and a fellow animal lover. Make sure to visit the horses and the chickens! The farm dogs and cats are sweet and fun to observe. The bunkhouse is exactly what I was looking for. Everything I could need was easy to find and the entire place is very clean. Connie was such a wonderful host: welcoming and accommodating. I only talked to Paul a few times but found him to be personable and kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It's perfect.

Jan and George were so helpful snd flexible-- permitting us to artive early and check-out late-- making the trip a lot easier on us. The cabin is beautiful, and very comfortable-- great for a modestly sized group of friends or a family. My friends and I had a great time, and we loved being the only cabin secluded in the woods. The rope swings were also super fun.

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the home was awesome...well appointed, comfy, had extra treats, coffee pods, wonderful gas fireplace...all located in a beautiful and tranquill setting...this is my most favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will definitely be back when I am in the area! Mark was an awesome host, and was always punctual with any questions I had. He even accomodated an early morning check-out, as I had a super early flight, and took care of some things for me that I would have typically taken care of myself...OUTSTANDING venue, all kitchen utensils, ingredients, appliances, etc. were on site...clean towels, linens, etc. on site...washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets on site, which were very nice to have...other Airbnb's require you purchase your own...I only went to the grocery story once the entire week, as this Airbnb was so well stocked...beautifully decorated as well, and awesome country setting...I would recommend this to everyone!! :)

We loved the spaciousness. The extra's were the additional dogs that joined us on our walks and looking up at the stars without light pollution. So sad that we were unable to enjoy your fresh milk and eggs. Highly recommend!

For me this was a business trip and Gretchen and Doug were AMAZING hosts and did everything they said they would to provide and some to provide a beautiful AND peaceful place for me to come back to after a long day from work! I really enjoyed the grounds and seeing the horses especially because I am also a horse owner and this was one of the biggest things that first drew me to her listing. But after I got there, she offered so much more in how warm and welcoming her and Doug was as well as everyone that happened to be at their farm that day. It truly is a hidden gem.

This house is gorgeous and the pictures didn’t do it justice. We stayed with 3 families (6 adults and 5 kids) and everyone loved it and wants to go back. The house has tons of perks like the pavilion (was just a bit too chilly and windy for us to utilize) and the deck. I really appreciated the coffee set up and all the extras the hosts had thought of. The only con is how far you have to drive to do anything (we came out to fish and find trails to hike and explore) but that isn’t the hosts fault and we knew that going in!

I’ve rented many places but this was by far the most personalized. Our Host was amazing and accommodating and very caring. I always felt like I was talking to a best friend.

Very clean, spacious and well kept. Loved the coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar. The space made you feel at home. Bridget was very informative and proactive. If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay there if it’s available.

I absolutely loved lounging in the screened-in sun room, listening to the birds and the wind. It was so peaceful and exactly what we wanted. We spent a lot of time on the swinging bench and looking at the stars. It was crystal clear skies. The space inside was cozy and filled with natural light because of the many windows. The host was very friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on returning at some point. Quiet peace in the countryside is so needed.

This was by far one of my all time favorite air bnb’s. The space is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. The hot tub outside was everything I had hoped for. I was there in an “off season” time for Grafton and it was still so much more than I had hoped for. I truly cannot wait to return in the spring or fall.

A comfortable, cozy home on a beautiful wooded lot! It’s easy to see that Hailey has given a lot of thought to what her guests may need or want to make their stay more enjoyable. She is also super responsive and wants to ensure her guests are pleased with the house. Home is dog friendly with a long gravel driveway to walk the dogs on. Loved the hot tub and big yard! Home is close to Salt Lick Trail, Storment Hauss Nature Preserve and Waterloo, IL which has Bean Tree Cafe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This stay was absolutely breathtaking. My fiancé and I fell in love the second we arrived. The home was very neat and cozy, and felt just like a home should! The property looked even better in person! There was so much to explore and the cows were just too cute. The house had everything we needed to cook which was a huge plus because we cooked the whole weekend. The hosts were more than welcoming which made the trip so much better. We definitely will be coming back❤️

Funk’s Inn is definitely a blast from the past. We had a wonderful time experiencing what a home from the 1800’s was like with some modern amenities in place for our pleasure. Lance is a very thoughtful host and we would rent from him again.

Absolutely amazing. If you like a country, peaceful setting this is the place. Kristy was no doubt the best host we’ve ever had. 100% will book with her every time we plan a trip to the Ozarks!

Our host went above and beyond during our trip—before we even arrived! They reached out ahead of time to warn us about incoming snowy and dangerous driving conditions, which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. They were very flexible with allowing us to reschedule in response to the storm too! It’s not every day you find a host who genuinely cares about your safety and well-being. Their communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, which gave us peace of mind. It really set the tone for the entire stay and made us feel like we were in good hands. You can tell they take hosting seriously and truly care about their guests. Highly recommend staying here—not just for the space, but for the kindness behind it. Oh!
