This location was perfect for a getaway. We rented this location for our valentine's weekend. It was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The house was perfect with all 3 master bedroom with each having its bathroom. The host was great and the home was equipped with stuff for our comfort.

It was a wonderful location quite peaceful but also not super far from shopping or restaurants the whole place was super cute aswell

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful area and lots of opportunities to hike in Shenandoah. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations. We enjoyed bringing our dog and using the hot tub. Everything was clean and we had a relaxing experience. We hope to visit again!

Excellent place to stay, beautifully secluded cabin that is perfectly set up for staying there with guides, labels, and everything you could want. We had an absolutely amazing time and will be going back. P.S. follow the directions on Airbnb and NOT your GPS… the GPS really wants you to take a mountain access road for some reason.

This is a lovely farm with several cottages and homes available for stays. The grounds are spectacular with pastures filled with horses, gorgeous ponds, and amazing landscapes. The servants cottage met our needs perfectly. We stayed for only one night while traveling home to NY after snowbirds a couple months further south. I have family nearby and hope to stop here again in the future for a longer time. The cottage was well kept with a BBQ grill that my husband happily made our dinner on! There was also a portable fire pit that we enjoyed while having our after dinner cocktails. Super responsive and helpful! We highly recommend staying at this farm and can't wait to go back.

This house is very peaceful and serene and a great escape from DC! The amenities are great and the setup of the house is very cute and charming. It was the perfect place for a girls’ trip and we had a great time.

We absolutely loved this place! It was a group of two couples, plus two kids, plus two dogs and we had enough room. The place was spotless and beautifully redone. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked. The place was in a great location, peaceful and beautiful surroundings in the woods but also fairly close to cities like Harrisonburg and Staunton for dining and other options. We all agreed this was our favorite airbnb yet! And would definitely rent it again.

If you think the views are amazing in the photos, wait until you check in, it's breathtaking! the cottage was beautiful, very clean and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed to make some basic meals while we stayed in and enjoyed a peaceful retreat. The record player and sound system were a nice bonus. I would recommend a vehicle with all wheel drive, the last 1/2 mile or so is rocky, bumpy and, as you can imagine, at an incline. The view at the top is worth it! The hot tub was also very clean, again, with a spectacular view for relaxing and recharging. Curtis was quick to respond when we had a question. Highly recommend Sunrise Cottage for a relaxing retreat.

This darling little house is perfectly appointed....everything you need plus hot tub and fire pit. Two double beds....worked for our family of four, but would be perfect for two couples. Super easy to get to from a variety of trails and DC. We will return!

We had a really lovely stay! Everything is clean and well maintained. It is a nice quiet area with a great view. We stargazed at night in the hot tub, which was a good size and very clean! The kitchen had a lot of items as well which made it easy to cook and prep our own food. We used the electric grill and it worked really well! Overall we had a positive experience and would come back again!

We had a great time! My two kids loved the upstairs play area. The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family. We had some trouble navigating the TVs (remote did not seem to work for main bedroom and we couldn't get the living room TV to stream), but Kinga was super responsive to any questions. We enjoyed nearby Woodstock Cafe for breakfast and exploring GW National Park. The location and setting was perfect for our short getaway and we hope to come back next year.

My fiancé, pup, and I booked this place for a relaxing valentine’s weekend getaway, and we got exactly that! The cottage was charming and such a peaceful oasis with the beautiful views and farm animals in clear sight. The hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs, muffins, and valentine’s themed chocolates — all were delicious and well appreciated! Additionally, they were very responsive and extremely friendly :) My fiancé and I spent time cooking dinner together, I baked, and watercolored, it was a lovely time! I highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

We went a family weekend getaway to Massanutten and Harrisonburg, and the Airbnb worked out great for us! The hosts were friendly and responsive. And the Airbnb was nice and clean with all the amenities / furnishings we needed including being able to cook breakfast. :). The drive to the Massanutten Resort indoor waterpark was an easy scenic drive and likewise going to downtown Harrisonburg the next day for dining and shopping. The Airbnb itself is located in the small turn of Shenandoah within just a few minutes walking distance to Mamma Mia’s for a family Italian dinner. We wanted to also try the popular Mexican restaurant but ran out of time. Thanks for a great stay!

We greatly enjoyed our time here in late November. The home itself was extremely clean and included all the amenities as listed. We especially appreciated the beautiful views and the dog-friendly environment! Besides relaxing by the wood-burning furnace, we explored some trails off of Skyline Drive and ventured into Luray for some good food and drinks.

Great place that fit the description, we loved the vibes. Outdoor area looked amazing too, just was a bit cold the weekend we stayed. Would definitely recommend.

Had an excellent stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, exactly as described, and the check-in process was a breeze. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful throughout, and the location was convenient and easy to find. This place offers fantastic value, especially with the added perks – a TV with Netflix, a strong hot and cold water supply, and a spacious backyard filled with fun games. The night sky was beautiful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable stay!
