The Riverhouse was so nice and cozy! Loved how close it was to the river - view out of the front was all river and the view out of the back still had the mountains, it was lovely. Scot was super responsive to any questions and so personable! If you want a cozy little getaway with friends/family, this is definitely a good pick for you!

I would highly recommend Stephanie’s place. It was perfect and she is very thoughtful to leave a treat for our puppies. She had snacks, a binder with all important info and suggestion’s. We definitely will stay again on our travels north.

We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved the large yard and game room. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a quick drive to get groceries. The drive to Shenandoah was only 15-20 min too.

I can’t say enough about Stephanie’s home. It was probably one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve been hosted. The furnishings, decor, finishes are not only stylish, they are of great quality. Linens and towels all very nice. It was in a quiet, safe location. We enjoyed the backyard and deck. We would stay here again whenever we are visiting the area!

This AirBnB is one of the best Ive ever stayed in! The home is beautiful and serene. There's a ton of space and the backyard is absolute perfect for relaxing. The host is wonderful and very responsive. We are already planning to come back! If you're staying in the Luray area, stay here! You’ll love it!

Laura’s place was perfect for our long holiday weekend stay in Madison. The property matched its description precisely, offering comfortable beds, a well-organized kitchen (everything is labeled), and fully functional amenities. Laura was responsive to our questions but we had most of the information we needed in the house. The location was ideal for exploring Culpeper and Charlottesville. Everything was immaculately clean, and the internet and TVs worked perfectly. We would absolutely recommend this rental and hope to return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lindsey’s home in Luray during our trip to Shenandoah. Lindsey herself was extremely responsive, and quickly resolved a question that came up during our visit. You can tell she has put her time and attention into ensuring guests have a positive experience. The home has plenty of artful touches, and we appreciated how the spacious rooms allowed our group to comfortably spread out. The large porch was also a great space to unwind in the beautiful spring afternoons. Location is very walkable, and we enjoyed evening strolls down to the greenway along the river. One note to be aware of is that it’s situated directly across from the train tracks (which was a major plus for our young kids who loved that aspect), so plan accordingly with sound machines if needed.

My dog and I felt right at home. It was clean, cozy and inviting. It exactly what we needed after a long day of driving and a long day of hiking. There was more than enough space for the two of us. I was very pleased with my first Airbnb experience. Thank you!

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

As many have reported this is a true gem!! The view is to die for! We spent one day biking to Luray from Rileyville. A stunning country road ride with farms all around, mountains on either side, no cars on the road! Would not recommend biking on overlook drive due to gravel.

Amazing location. Very cozy and lived-in cabin in great location. Especially great if you like being outside -- fire pit, open land, big grassy lawn were all great, especially for kids.

We had a fantastic stay! kids loved it..The Villa was perfect. Bo was incredibly responsive to help. Highly recommend it , We are definitely staying again.

The cabin was the perfect spot for a weekend away from the city. It had all the things we were looking for — campfire for smores, spots for stargazing, and land for the dog to run around. Firewood included was a huge plus! There’s not much around, but a little country store had everything we needed. We look forward to returning and plan to rent the chalet with friends. Thanks for such a great weekend!

My family and I stayed at GracieLand Farm in Luray, Va in December 2024. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! We truly enjoyed the property and accommodations so much that we didn’t leave to do anything outside of the home we simply enjoyed our loved ones and the beautiful home. The home was clean, cozy and comfortable; it pretty much had everything we needed. Our two dogs enjoyed themselves as well. Mary the host was wonderful and thought of everything which made our stay super enjoyable even down to having treats on hand for our two dogs. She was friendly, very responsive and checked in to ensure we were good! There was a detailed binder that contained everything from QA about the house to the local attractions. My only complaint is the weekend was too short! I can’t wait to go back in the Spring/summer to enjoy the pool.

The house was perfect for us to spend a relaxing week surrounded by nature. The location was great, as it felt secluded yet not far from town and the Shenandoah national park. Everything was clean and the hosts were very helpful.

Family of 7 spent a long weekend at this beautiful home. The various views of the mountains were spectacular. The home was clean, spacious, had everything we needed, and was an absolute gem. Our kids and dogs had so much land to run around freely and to play when it snowed. This home deserves the 5/5 rating because it truly delivered a wonderful weekend for my family.

The cabin was easy to find and with in a reasonable distance from many places to visit. The cabin is comfortable and inviting with many amenities such as TV with streaming services, fully equpit kitchen, nice and clean hot tub, bathroom with everything you need and nicely set-up bedrooms. About all the host is exceptional, super responsive and prompt in get back to answering any questions.

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

Leah’s spot in Rileyville is fantastic! It’s super well equipped for young children with an adorable camp themed playroom & awesome game room in the detached garage. Very close to Luray & local attractions but peaceful on a small creek. Such a relaxing stay!

Excellent stay in a beautiful area. The host was very responsive and helpful for any issues that arose.

The host gave very specific directions to the home and we were able to find it with no trouble at all. The home itself is very cute on a large lot facing the valley below and the distant mountains. The kitchen was clean and very well appointed with anything we needed. Nice quality cookware and dishes. Excellent dishwasher. Had both a pod and coffee pot brewer and a tea kettle, I brewed my own pods and they worked great. We brought charcoal to have a bbq one evening and it was clean and easy to use. The hot tub was enjoyed every evening after our excursions and worked well just steps from the kitchen door. The firepit also got a lot of use from us! We did not get a chance to use the indoor fireplace but it looked to be top notch. The three bedrooms all had memory foam mattresses and all our family slept well on them. Nice bedding and extra blankets for the cold mountain nights. Great base camp for Luray, Skyline Drive and Hikes in Shenandoah. Highly recommend!! Great Hosts.

We enjoyed our stay in Luray! It was a clean and quiet house and location, we felt safe and comfortable there. We didn’t end up using the outdoor theater because we were too tired to put the screen up but it was a really nice touch. The hot tub was awesome too. We would stay here again!
