The waterside location and views can’t be beat. It’s a bit out of the way and transportation should be worked out. The bus stop is a 10- minute walk and it’s not easy for all taxis to find. We rented 2 mini maxes for 4 of us and that helped. The bus is pretty convenient too, but it’s a dark road to walk back at night to the house. All that aside, it’s close to Dockyard and right off the Rail trail for biking. It’s a comfy house and more than enough for 4 of us. The water views are fantastic and swimming access is great. We stayed in the winter and it was too cool to swim most days but views never get old. It’s a quiet neighborhood and we slept well.

Tom and his family were extremely gracious with their home; which is a beautiful and comfortable Bermuda style home designed and built by Tom, and tucked away in the natural nature preserve surroundings. We lived on the front porch! With snorkels available, and the Somerset Long beach a short walk, the restaurants at Camdbridge beach resort around the corner, and Dockyard a short bus ride away, with ferry to Hamilton, the location was quiet but easy to navigate. Additionally, Tom and family took us grocery shopping and provided insights into their family and Bermuda history, and some of the local spots for delicious food/to-go in Somerset Village. Thank you Tom! We'll be back!

Beautiful house, very comfortable beds, great towels, decently stocked kitchen, excellent coffee maker, lots of little extras. We appreciated the excellent WiFi throughout the home. We were grateful for the beach equipment and borrowed snorkels and masks. No time to try the kayaks but loved that they were offered. Swimming right off the house was lovely. Sunrise was gorgeous each morning. Colin was a great host — he checked in during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed.

Can’t say enough good things about this location - it’s stunning and made very accessible for exploring since the bus route is quite close. Richard and Karen were excellent hosts and very quick to respond as well as offer suggestions to make our trip memorable.

This review is actually for Mangrove Apt, as the booking switched to that one (with our approval in advance). The grounds are beautiful, very peaceful and well maintained. The apartment was fantastic and has the best Airbnb kitchen I’ve stayed in. We enjoyed a week of walking all around Somerset and were sad to leave. Unfortunately the Somerset Country Squire pub has closed now but nearby Trini Spice has a good takeaway menu. I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys great views and being away from the tourist hustle.

This is a wonderful rental. There are beautiful views from the apartment and the space is clean and cozy. Felecia and her husband are extremely friendly and around if you need anything, yet the apartment is very private. You can easily get around through the bus, taxis, or renting a car within walking distance. Definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Great place to stay. A little off the beaten path but fantastic overall. Bill, the host, was great with communications and even handled our missing our flight and showing up a day late with grace. Travelling as the Covid-19 lockdown ended was a little different with restrictions placed on those entering Bermuda, but Bill made it easy and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Unit was just as advertised, clean and more than met our needs. We didn't think we'd care much about the pool but found it a great place to relax and discuss the day over a beer and a dip. The unit was stocked with everything we would need and we would definitely stay there again.

A great spot, close to the City of Hamilton, but still quiet and peaceful. Lana was very helpful and the whole experience was pleasant. I had my two kids with me and it was just the right size for us.

Felicia is a great host who went above and beyond, helping us with all queries big or small. The accommodation was lovely, clean and very well presented, just like the photos and description. Great location for both the bus and ferry, so really easy to get around the island. All in all, we had a great week, thanks.

Location to the beaches is great. House is fully stocked with all essentials & more. Great communication and warm welcome upon arrival. Fantastic sunset views from the back porch. Perfect for two couples or family!

Location is excellent! Walking distance to front street. Someone on property to easily respite requests. Host was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was well furnished and equipped. We had everything we needed for our visit. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spacious. The walk-in closet/laundry room was great - lots of space to hang and store clothes, luggage, etc. There were lots of nice restaurants and a grocery store (Miles Market) within walking distance and a pharmacy was just around the corner. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

I have to say Antanella was the best host I have ever experienced. You feel like you are coming home to a long lost relative. From the time I arrived she was there to show me around and explain how everything worked as well as providing recommendations to the island and was constantly in contact to make sure I was comfortable and even set up a Gazebo in the back to make my stay more comfortable. The day I was leaving, she recommended I book a taxi due to it being A big holiday weekend, unfortunately the cab never arrived and she gracefully took time away from her busy holiday weekend to drive me to the airport. I would 100% recommend staying here, if you like to walk, amenities are 15 min walk and bus stop is very close. Antonella gracefully provided 2 bus tickets. Overall one of the best airbnb experiences I have ever had. I will definately be back and would recommend this to anyone visiting paradise. Thanks so much for your hospitality Antanella. You are one in a million.

We could not say enough good things about Rexanne’s place. It is exactly as she describes in the listing. She and her husband were more than kind and accommodating taking the time to show us to the beach and explaining how to navigate the area. They went above and beyond. The location is close to Hamilton and close to the beach. We had a scooter but the location is also on the bus route for those rainy days. Would definitely recommend staying at “Salt Spray”.

We absolutely loved it… very cozy and matched the descriptions. We asked if we could check in early and they were very accommodating. This is wonderful place and the bus to town is right across the street which made it easy to move around. This is definitely my Bermuda spot ❤️🏝️☺️

Fantastic stay in Bermudaful Bermuda. Accommodation was well described, spacious and had everything we needed, home from home. Felt very safe and neighbourhood is super quiet. Simone and Brad are friendly and welcoming including dog Scotty. Linen and towels provided super soft and clean. Provisions for breakfast were so welcome due our later arrival, so set up for an amazing breakfast. Quiet private location, bus stop on main road, couple of mins walk away. Snorkelling equip provided, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We didn’t need to use laundry facilities but Simone happy to provide this. We hired e bikes from Elbow Beach Cycles and cycled from one end of the island to the other using the ferry and Railway Trail. Small points to mention, but only as aside, squeaky floor esp around the bed and floor levels vary and need to watch your head on the spiral stair case getting in and out of bed. Some damp showing which is prob an island problem and you can hear walking around upstairs ❤

I came for a reset and left feeling like a new person. I cannot recommend Debbies place more. Debbie is the perfect hosts. I appreciate that she provides a detailed guidebook of the island along with being quick in responding to my questions. She makes it feel like a home away for hime by providing all the necessary appliances and entertainment. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. It is safe to walk alone at night or in the early mornings. The neighbors are also friendly and assisted directions. The location is a distance from the busy town to Hamilton. So you can enjoy the town then end you day in the quiet suberbs.
