Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Great place to stay if you want to be immersed in local life and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful. It was close to several eateries. I went into Colombo and there were two bus stops within walking distance. It took a bit over an hour to go to Colombo fort via bus or about a 35/45min tuk tuk ride. I didn't mind it being far away. It's very close to the airport. The accommodation is incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony where I would eat some of my meals.

Our stay at Villa 171 in Aluthgama was nothing short of amazing. The property is a lovely retreat with all the amenities you could wish for and impeccably maintained. What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the warmth and generosity of our hosts. Shashika was not only incredibly helpful but also inspired us with his fascinating travel stories. Even more special was his brother, Babi—a genuine gem. From lending us a scooty and guiding us through mangrove trips and snorkeling adventures to assisting us in picking out thoughtful gifts for our families, Babi went above and beyond, making us feel like part of the family. We left Sri Lanka with hearts full of gratitude and fond memories, and we’re already planning our next visit just to reconnect with these wonderful hosts and experience the magic of Villa 171 again. Back in India, we miss you both dearly—please come visit us, and let us have the honor of hosting you next time!

Pure zen & the perfect stay! ✨🏡 This place is simply unforgettable. It’s spacious, peaceful and beautifully designed; so much so that you don’t even feel the need to leave. The pool is amazing, perfect for cooling off and relaxing and in the early mornings or evenings, you can spot so many birds and even incredible Indian flying foxes! From the moment we arrived, Malan & Janaki made us feel at home, ensuring we were comfortable. The food? Absolutely delicious! From the amazing breakfast to any extra meal they prepared for us - so fresh & full of flavor! A few lovely extras: Tiny, the sweetest dog (don’t worry, he won’t disturb you if you’re not a dog person) and a small, family-run wood-fired bakery next door for daily fresh bread. After weeks of travel, this place was exactly what we needed. We only wished we had more days here, but next time, we’re staying longer! A big thanks to Andrew, a fantastic host—responsive, understanding, and so gracious. Highly recommended!

I experienced a excellent stay at Sudam's place. Sudam was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was nice, clean, and well-maintained. It was equipped with every essential item, including a washing machine, refrigerator, gas cooker, TV, water dispenser, clothes rack, hair dryer. Everything was properly cleaned and well-maintained. I reached well past midnight and Sudam was there to welcome me to ensure my stay is comfortable. Sidam also allowed me to checkout a bit late as my flight was late at night, which was very helpful. This place is just walkable distance from Colombo-Kaduwela main road and Thalehene bus stop. I used public transport for most of my visits to Colombo, so it was very conformatable to me. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets are available just in walking distance. I would highly recommended for everyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Baththaramulla-Thalahena area.

Sahan and his family are extremely nice. I felt so comfortable during my stay. The room upstairs has all the privacy I needed. His mother cooks very tasty food, his wife and sister are incredibly helpful too. They support you and organize everything you need. Absolutely lovely people. The area is very quiet, the beaches are beautiful and you are often alone. I would recommend the accommodation at any time.
