We can’t thank you enough for our wonderful stay! This was our last mini trip as a family of three and it was a gift to my son for becoming a big brother. He loves cabins and asked to stay in a real one. This place was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean and had everything we needed and more. Everything was open and not crowded at all. The Wi-Fi worked great too! We can’t wait to come back with both boys and enjoy some fishing! This cabin is nice for a small family and definitely a romantic getaway for two. Its primitive and rustic look is perfectly balanced with modern day luxury. We felt right at home. Thank you again and this place now holds a very special place in our hearts! My 4 yo said it’s his favorite we’ve stayed in!

A gorgeous, cute little cabin on a beautiful creek. We loved the view and had a lovely time. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was fun and relaxing. Made for an amazing weekend for me and my husband. The restaurant recommendations were perfect. We had fabulous meals at The Palisades and Harvest at Mountain Lake. Would love to come back and stay at the four fillies lodge again in the future

The place is great and well stocked. I thought kitchen and dining area were small. We like to cook there and not go out. Otherwise the cabin was very comfortable and much thought was given to the layout. We didn’t use the fire pit as we could find no wood. Maybe I was supposed to supply my own? Unfortunately the road being paved leaves your car extremely dirty and you have to wash off your back window each time you drive in and out. That isn’t something that can be helped but perhaps a heads up would help guests. The lock needs a new battery and took over 15 minutes to get into initially which was difficult late at night. Overall great spot for a short stay, close to VA Tech

We had such a peaceful and enjoyable stay at the Rock Ridge Ranch. The host was amazingly accomadating and the cabin was a slice of Heaven. The space was cozy and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Look forward to returning in the future.

Awesome cabin. I dare you to find a better place to stay. We felt like our friends let us stay at their place. The cabin was stocked with everything you’d need for a vacation and was totally spotless. Very private but easily accessible. We’ll be back for sure.

What a great place to spend some quiet, relaxing, restful time! The place is so cozy and welcoming. The beautiful design and personal touches on the inside definitely make it a place of its own. And to be able to look at nothing but a starry sky while in the hot tub is so….grounding/fulfilling. We’ll be back!

Better than the pictures! All amenities worked as expected and the view from the house was breathtaking! Also supper dog and kid friendly which was much appreciated! Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Could have not asked for a batter Airbnb stay! 10/10 don’t hesitate.

Overall great experience. It was very cozy within the Airbnb and peaceful and serene outside of the cabin. Perfect for a 2 person or couples getaway weekend!

Our second stay at The Black Bear Lodge! Spacious and inviting, with plenty of space for a family gathering. Good kitchen that you can cook for a crowd in. Feels like you’re in a very secluded spot, but only 30 min drive to good groceries and other stores in Princeton. Hope to stay again!

This was our second time here in Alderson, and there were more than many reasons to come here again. The area may seem quiet and isolated, but we still did not manage to check everything off our extensive list, which keeps growing. The cabin is adorable and truly the coziest and comfiest thing we could have wanted for our break. Thank you, Audrey and Kevin, for making this space available to us!

This cabin is the perfect blend of chic design and cozy comfort. Very dog friendly, which is something I’m always looking for in a vacation spot The shower is absolutely amazing—I’ll let you discover why for yourself! We loved walking down to Second Creek; it was so peaceful and serene. The stargazing here is incredible—it felt like you could reach out and touch the stars. This is, without a doubt, my favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. We can’t wait to come back! One tip: Make sure to listen to Dave and follow his driving directions. Don’t make the mistake I did of “winging it”—I had to backtrack to find cell service and read the instructions properly.

We had a fantastic stay for 4 nights during our hiking adventures to McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth. The cabin is so cozy and clean, and our hosts made sure that we had everything we needed and more! Have already recommended it to my niece - a fellow hiker. We would love to return in the Fall and explore more of the area. It’s a short drive to Salem, Roanoke, or even Blacksburg. Thanks for everything Hunter and Stephen!

Very nice place in a super cute campground! Loved being right across from the state park. Gorgeous part of West Virginia. Loved all the great views!

Very comfortable stay super close to Cave Spring. We had everything we needed and loved being able to spread out and have the fenced in yard for our dog. Rhonda was extremely proactive with instructions.

we had a great 2 night stay. it is near the road but so close to bluestone lake state park and Pipestem. we enjoyed our stay and loved that it was dog friendly.

My family really enjoyed our stay here! It is a nice serene setting and a very clean cabin. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. If we ever make it back to this area, we will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful cabin and land. If you are looking for a very private get-a-way cabin, look no further. We did have power issues due to a winter storm, but Katherine was extremely responsive and helpful in working with us through everything. We will definitely be booking this in the future!

A great cabin to get away. The entire property was very clean and it was nice to have so much peace and quiet. Check in was easy- and yes there is hot water which the host provided that update prior to us arriving as there is a glitch where she has tried to update it. Star gazing at night was great. We ran out of propane for the grill but to a nice surprise she was able to locate a house nearby and actually dropped off more which we felt was above and beyond!

Rhonda was exceptional about communicating with us since the town received 15 inches of snow a few days before we were to arrive. She helped us figure out if the trip was feasible, offered to be flexible on rescheduling, and was a generous and proactive communicator. We went and had a wonderful time in the private and secluded cabin with gorgeous snowy mountains as a backdrop. Cannot recommend enough.

We can’t thank you enough for such a great visit and Cristy’s wonderful hospitality! The cabin is so charming! My husband loved the surprise weekend in the mountains and highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful surroundings the deer are a plus, would come right to the front door! Peaceful surroundings highly recommend.

Beautiful campground with a nice canoe launch site. We got lucky since we were the only ones at the campground. It was very quiet and beautiful!
