Stayed 4 nights at Irene’s and I’m so glad I picked it as it’s way better than a hotel. Apartment was modern and spotless (floor was squeaky clean) and fully equipped. Looks exactly as pictured. It’s very secure with a locked main door to the building. The place is situated on the other side of town but that also means you can also walk to Malakal (30 mins) for meals by the sea. Wifi is strong and I managed to work remotely with it and in the comfort of the huge space. There’s a business centre downstairs so best location to remote work ;) Irene is really hospitable, resourceful and responsive , helping me out a lot with my last minute requests which I really appreciate. 100% recommend Just a tip for solo travellers that it’s challenging to book group tours so would suggest to try travelling during the Taiwanese or Japanese holidays in order to tag onto the tours

My fanily have a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location and surroundings were also very pleasant, offering a peaceful and convenient atmosphere. The only small downside was that, due to the surrounding area, the water pressure was a bit low. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to return in the future.

The place is amazing, rooms are comfortable and the view is wonderful. Josie is the best in helping you with everything you need, I was very happy to stay here for my birthday, the best present was this travel and this place was like my little home. I miss this place!

Great stay! Strong AC and strong wifi made working from the apartment a breeze. Balcony had great views of the water and staff was extremely kind. Apartment was equipped with everything I needed for my stay, including a well stocked kitchen to prepare meals. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

I stayed at Ms. Maria’s apartment for about 1 month. All necessary facilities are very clean and equipped as you can see in her photos. Friendly laundry , fancy restaurants and convenient shopping places are all in walking distance. On the top of it, Ms. Maria is quite kind and supportive.

This place is perfect for a peaceful, quiet and beautiful location. The apartment was comfortable with everything that you need and had an amazing view of the bay that is right in front of the place. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town but the walk is nice. Take care when walking into town regarding the wondering dogs who bark at you. Even though the dogs around Palau can be intimidating, they only seem to posture and bark. Josie is an amazing host that was always very friendly, responsive and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Palau.

Godiva and Jerome are some of the most amazing hosts I've ever had. They have always tried to go the extra mile. Always checking up on me and making sure I have everything I need during my stay. They have made some great recommendations for activities and arranged boat tours. They are very friendly and approachable and have treated me as more than just a guest. You will be safe in their hands

If you want a homey stay with vacation-worthy perks in Palau, Ngermid Oasis is it! Jerome and Godiva welcomed me like family—along with their three adorable rescue dogs (special shoutout to Pineapple, my favorite!). As a solo traveler, I never felt alone. Jerome had an almost magical way of appearing when I needed help—whether booking last-minute tours, sorting out a rental car, or surprising me with the world’s best lemonade. He ensured I didn’t miss a thing, even on a short trip. The room was spacious and comfy, the views breathtaking, and the pool was the perfect end to an adventure-filled day. This was hands down my best vacation ever—next time, I’m bringing friends! Thinking of booking? Just do it—you won’t regret it!

West was very helpful working with our late check-in due to our delayed flight. everything was as described in the listing. the place was very secure. the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. this made for a very easy, comfortable and affordable stay on Palau!

I really enjoyed my stay at Coral Reef! Josie was so kind and helpful; my apartment was always kept clean and she even did my laundry for me. I would definitely recommend this place for short or long-term stays in Palau!

A staff member named Josie always helped me. I was staying alone so her presence was very nice for me. If I come to Palau again, I will definitely stay here.

The hosts were super helpful and welcoming. The house was amazing with a huge bathroom and nice beds. There was a great pool and basketball court and even a patio with a hammock that we spent many nights playing cards on. Godiva was very helpful with our plans and with anything we needed. For example we were taking a ferry ride and she called the company to figure out what time the ferry left, how much it cost, and if we could bring bags or not. It was slightly out of the way of the Main Street and town but this made it very peaceful and quiet. We were able to rent a car from our hosts which made it easy to get around. All in all the Airbnb was exactly what we wanted with great hosts and a really nice place to stay and we had an awesome time.
