Was a very pleasant stay. Was the perfect amount of space for everyone in my party. Exceptionally clean, organized and had everything we needed. Would recommend this place to everyone!

This was our 2nd stay and it was, again, clean and spacious and perfectly located for our time with family. It is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and our kids loved the pool. We enjoyed sunrises over the lake from the swings by the camp store and also played horse shoes one afternoon. The beds are comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the kitchen is serviceable. We also used the gas grill and Florida room.

We cannot say enough about our stay. We had an amazing time with eight people in the home. Two parents with five teenagers who had plenty to do. We were able to enjoy the beautiful dock to go fishing, rented a boat for the day, drive easily into Jacksonville for a Jaguar’s football game, drive to Orlando to pick up one of the teenagers from the airport and have an amazing crab pot dinner. To get to nice grocery stores, shopping, and good restaurants, most places were a 15 to 20 minute drive but everything was worth it. The house was wonderfully stocked with extra toiletries, pool toys, fishing poles, pantry items, spices, dishes, and beach towels. The teenagers, especially loved the ping pong table, the local beach, and how fun it was to catch so many fish. The only negative to the trip was the jacuzzi gave us some trouble, we had some critters here and there (but to be expected in that environment), and the spiral staircase can be difficult to get up and down. We can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a very nice house. I just wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the area. The price was less than the Best Western.

What a wonderful home to celebrate Christmas! A beautiful home… all the amenities… heated pool… cool backyard… games room… everything you would want for a holiday getaway! Our thanks to Jess and Aaron! We would definitely return if in the St. Augustine area in the future!

Our stay was much too short. Loved the home and the pool and location. So much to do. The house was spotless, the pool and spa splendidly relaxing and the kayaks and beach gear made our stay so easy! The sunsets over the canal and a soak in the spa were the perfect way to end our day. Ginny was a wonderful communicator and very responsive. We all agreed we would stay again!

The captains cottage was a perfect place for our family, it exceeded expectations, the lake was beautiful, there were bikes and a paddle boat we used almost every day. There was wildlife galore in the lake. The local restaurants were top notch. This was exactly the peaceful, quiet place and neighborhood we were looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet. Two restaurants that can be walked to and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed the screen porch and the nicely landscaped backyard. The host was very responsive and offered helpful suggestions.

This is our 2nd time staying at EJs- it’s so comfortable and it’s filled with amenities along with a great hot tub and a beautiful view! So much room in this house! It’s a favorite of ours and we will likely be back next year!

Ohhh to be the little home in Up! Stepping into this cottage was like stepping back in time, in the best way possible! From the charming decor to the meticulously selected furnishings, every detail added to the cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The cottage was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided us with everything out family of 4 (plus 2 doggies) needed and more (such as bikes, kayaks, books, access to the washer & dryer, and even some cleaning supplies)!! Meagan's binder is filled with historical information on the cottage and surrounding areas, as well as recommendations for activities and meals nearby. We would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway in the St. Augustine area.

This is our second year going to the dirt track races at Volusia County Speedway and get an Airbnb in the area. We are from Cape Coral Florida, and we like to travel around using Airbnb. The place was just as described very peaceful, quiet, and any amenity that you could possibly want Was available. I Plenty of parking, plenty of room, lots to do and see, picturesque lake, very cozy, warm, clean and inviting!! I would highly highly recommend this location! The host were extremely responsive and the property they care about, you can tell because we checked in early and it was ready already. Thank you! Next time we will spend more time Because I don’t feel we spent enough time in the area. One night at this location surely isn’t enough! Thank you again David and Liz!

What a great place! We were greeted upon pulling in, and the cabin was even better than we hoped. The pond was lovely for gazing at, a little paddle, and the ducks were even friendly! The little details were thoughtful and appreciated. The hosts were always available and communicative. 10 out of 10, hope to return someday, and highly recommend for a quiet retreat. Thanks!

Beautiful sanctuary in a quiet location. Loved being lakeside with a dock for sitting and fishing. Full amenities onsite and attentive host. Highly recommended location for a special occasion or weekend of solitude.

Rare Florida cabin on a lake. Enjoyed jet skiing and watching the seaplanes take off. Had a nice family Thanksgiving week at the cabin. St Augustine and Ocala are about an hour away.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in this cabin. The game room was a hit! We would love to come back when weather is cooler. If you come during summer make sure to make reservations ahead at the springs. You will enjoy a peaceful place with nature around… kids were able to see deers and heron birds… simply lovely.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !
