It was a wonderful stay jn the desert. Quiet, pretty, and a great location close enough to hiking, Joshua tree and pioneer town

I love going to Sky Valley and spending a relaxing weekend there. I’ve stayed at many of the different properties and this was as nice as any of them. It’s really only good for one or two people. The host were very responsive to the few questions I did have.

The place is amazing and the wife and I couldn’t of asked for a better place to spend the holiday season. We loved its proximity to everything and it’s quite and peaceful setting. While there we went to the pools and the pickle ball courts which were fantastic and full of friendly people from the community.

This was our second airbnb in Joshua Tree, this time with my brother's family and we truly had an amazing time at Nel's place. The house was very clean, spacious and well kept. Beds were comfortable with spotless and clean linens. The interior of the house and the backyard were very nice, and the in general, it was welcoming and let you feel like home. We enjoyed the pool, spa and the fire pit. Nel and her team were very friendly, very responsive and attentive, thank you very much once again! The location is amazing too, it's close to most of the shops and grocery stores and very close to JT National Park. This house is a good choice for families and groups of friends. I'd add some games like ping pong, but you wouldn't get bored there definitely! Everytime choosing the place to stay for the vacation or short trip, it's very important for me and my family that the place would have a good vibe & energy, so I'm happy that Nel's place met my expectations:)

We were very glad to connect with Colette for the first time. We were happy to get the dates we wanted. Colette gave lots of instructions about her place and more info about the Resort. Colette's place is located right by a lake in a beautiful setting. There are lots of ducks to entertain you. Her place was very comfortable inside and had a covered outside patio. We had brought along our usual kitchen items but also appreciated being able to use some of her kitchen supplies. Our bed was king size and very comfortable but made it a little tight to move around the room. We appreciated the Arizona room on the side of the house to keep our extra belongings and to have use of the washer and dryer. Much appreciated. We loved the many pools close by and a 5 minute walk got you in the pools. We had some trouble navigating the TV systems, perhaps due to previous guests, but we informed Collette and she said she would look into it. We look forward to staying again in the future.

A great place just a couple miles from east entrance. Walkable to many restaurants. Place was well organized, instructions were very clear. Kitchen was well placed with lot of amenities. Great backyard, can hear the birds in the morning. Safe location, very peaceful. Overall a wonderful place to have a vacation.

This place was beautiful, and so close to the national park and local restaurants and shops. I’ve been to Joshua Tree 4 times now and this last stay here was the best by far. Love the attention to detail in the design at this place and me and my best friend really enjoyed the hot tub at night. It was quiet and relaxing, clean and refreshing! Kitchen perfectly stocked

The process checking in and out was smooth. The stay was peaceful. Precisely what I was looking for. The Colin’s were hospitable and polite.

My family and I had such a wonderful time here at the cabin. The cabin was so cozy and peaceful, and the surrounding was so beautiful with trees, birds, and bunnies everywhere. We LOVED the shared swimming pool. Swimming in cold water after a hot summer hike was probably the best part. The kitchen was a bit small but it wasn't a big issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hidden little gem, it’s a beautiful ranch with goats, horses as well as other smaller animals. The host was super friendly and helpful. It’s a very different experience in Palm Springs but totally worth it. I would rent it again! :) thank you for everything. Bernie

What a magical place, nestled in the mountains, very private and secluded. Great kitchen and fire. The bed was sooooo comfy. Would definitely return, lovely walks, beautiful nature and Diane and her team were responsive with any messages... x

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Highly recommend if you're looking for peace and quiet. Perfect location between Palm Springs and Joshua. Diane made sure to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here with my pups. Kitchen was great if you like to cook when traveling. The home was very cozy. Mornings have a beautiful light in the master bedroom.

Diane’s place was great! One of the most unique places that I have stayed. The house was very nice, and it was awesome staying back in the canyon. The stars at night and the quietness were some of my favorite parts. The only thing I would mention is that the dirt road to get there is rough, I would recommend a 4wd vehicle

This was my first Airbnb rental experience. My family & I were unfortunately caught in the LA fires & needed a place to get away. Gary was very understanding, accommodating & sympathetic with our situation & needs. We were looking for something affordable for a few days as our priority. The home itself turned out to be a great, cozy space. Very clean, well kept, and homey (which is definitely what we needed). We brought our dog as well & she had a large fenced area right outside. The scenery was beautiful & peaceful. We were only about a 10 minute drive from town where we were able to eat, shop & explore. We brought a Truck & Prius. The dirt road was a bit tough for my Prius but made it, just had to take it slow. We came here as a place to get away from an unfortunate & unexpected life situation & wound up having such a comforting experience. We look forward to coming back in the future! Gary was communicative, very responsive and in general, just a kind-hearted person.

I have so many wonderful memories of our time at Sandy and Ken's cabin and property, I do not know where to begin! The quaint cabin was very easy to find. Sandy and Ken were there to greet us and show us all of the great amenities on their property which they have lovingly built and created. With the impending light snowfall, the cozy cabin was perfect for cold weather with a beautiful fireplace and warm blankets. It had everything you could ever wish for, including a comfy bed and plentiful amounts of wood for a fire. As an extra special treat, Sandy had baked us delicious scones upon our arrival. The cabin is within walking distance to the town, yet on a peaceful, quiet street with a creek running along the property. We were sad that it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor areas, which include a swing and a lovely greenhouse. But we are planning to return in late spring to enjoy the warm weather and burst of colors! Thanks for having us!

This place is amazing! Great big backyard, perfect for the dogs. Fireplace makes the space feel so cozy and hot tub was so relaxing. Bed is comfy and the place is spacious. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s Tiny House. Everything was as described re: house amenities (it is fully stocked with what you need) and was a very comfortable space for 2 adults. We especially enjoyed her sunroom. The house is located right across from the East Pool Complex (e.g., pools, mineral hot spring pools, and gym). The resort has many amenities (e.g., water aerobics, pool volleyball, pickleball, walking trails, social activities, a cute Austrian bakery that also serves lunch, and a Farmer’s Market on Wed, etc.). The resort is in a quiet rural setting in Sky Valley. As mentioned earlier the distance to stores and restaurants can range from ~12 to 20+ miles. There is one small convenience store & burger place ~ 7 miles away. Also the resort offers very limited recycling (only cans & plastic bottles) so if you are staying for an extended period and want to recycle glass, paper or other items, Apple Recycling is located on Dillon Rd.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Michelle’s with our pups for a little getaway to mama nature. Met and exceeded our expectations. The thoughtfulness and care is apparent in every corner of the cottage. Super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Great location - close to Idyllwild’s downtown and trails, yet tucked away enough to feel like you have the woods to yourself. Can’t recommend enough and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you so much you two!

Beautiful, peaceful cottage. We felt so relaxed and at ease. It was a great spot for a couples getaway. It was amazing how quiet it was inside. We slept great and it was Super cozy. Close to town, restaurants and hiking in Idyllwild. We loved our stay!

If you’re looking for a secluded, quiet place then Muse is perfect. It was spotless, comfortable and had what we needed. Diane is an excellent host and responded very quickly when I needed to hear from her. It’s a long bumpy drive in but worth it. Just don’t arrive at night the first night as there are few signs once you’ve turned off the highway. I 100% recommend this airbnb.

Thank you Sarah for an amazing weekend at your lovely home. Super clean and well equipped, was able to cook a full meal after a day of hiking. Patio is spacious and the jacuzzi was awesome. Would definitely stay here again!
